Modern beach cottage in pristine condition - delivered as promised!
My family of 5 adults spent 9 nights at this lovely beachfront property in July 2014. Trust these photos as they depict everything just as you'll find it. The clean modern lines and decor made for a fresh and uncluttered environment. The kitchen and laundry everything we might need; this is the best equipped rental we've ever encountered. The cottage is spacious, very clean and well-maintained. The large yard is great for playing games, and the private beach access has you on the best beach on Shelter Island in seconds. We really enjoyed the many creatures that visited our yard daily....deer, bunnies, chipmunks, squirrels, and tortoises. We snacked on native blackberries as we crossed the berm to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and the locals we met on the beach were friendly. From my first phone contact with Gary, the owner, he was very responsive and helpful in describing the property, neighborhood, and the island amenities. He was committed to making our stay fun, easy and informed. We'd love to return and would rent from Gary again. Trust me, you'll love it here!
