Enjoy fishing from your own dock or travel just down the road to Tybee's beaches. At day's end, you can walk to The Crab Shack for the best seafood on Tybee.

This 1BR/ 1BA efficiency is just what you need for a cozy couples getaway.

We actually decided to Stay in the Condo, which is above the original condo., The condo we stayed in was immaculate. One BR and one and a half bathrooms. The kitchen had everything you need to cook meals. The bed and sofa were so comfortable. The outside balcony had nice comfortable furniture, also. Captain Jacks us just a short walk from the Condo which certainly conveint. Each morning , we got up and went to the dock to fish and crab. The one thing we really enjoyed wash the privacy and of this unit. . It was very quit and peaceful !!! Tyner Beach is only 1.5 miles. Jimmy Edwards, the owner, is AMAZING! He is so kind and pleasant.and lets his tenants enjoy their stay . In other words, doesn't bother you unless you need something. So, intimidate pollinators place close to paradise, then this is then place for, this is the place for you. Jimmy, thank you for responding so quickly to our calls and text messages., Most of all, thank you for being so kind and jovial, every time we called with our questions. You are wonderful. We will be back!!!

The location was in a nice area. It seems like they are trying to work on fixing it up some, but could use a good cleaning. There was a moldy smell when we first arrived but didn’t notice it again.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay on Tybee Island

Great place to spend a few days while checking out the area. The dock was very relaxing and convenient to be able to fish and bird watch from. My wife and I would definitly recomend staying here

I loved the boat dock behind the property. I went down in the morning and I felt as if I was somewhere far far away from anywhere. I sat and watched the birds dive for breakfast and just listened to all the sounds in nature. I have no complaints about my stay. I look forward to visiting again.

Hidden Gem

I selfishly don’t want to post a review because this place feels like a hidden gem. We loved our stay here. It was perfect for my wife, our toddler, and myself. Surprisingly larger than expected and felt like I could have had a couple more people with us and still been comfortable. The dock and screened in back patio was a nice touch. Very convenient location, only minutes from the downtown/beach area but away from all the busy hustle and bustle. Also very convenient if you want to drive into Savannah. Window and wall AC units in tandem with the dehumidifier were more than sufficient to keep it very comfortable, despite the mid-June heat. I’m not fully convinced that the main bed is a queen like the listing said, but as soon as I laid down, I didn’t even care because the bed was so amazingly comfortable. The owner was very pleasant, helpful and quick to respond with any concerns. We will definitely be back!

Wont go there again

We felt it was very musty, disappointed the water out back would leave and it was smelly mud a couple times a day. There were bugs, and the bed did not work as far as it was suppose to lift the head and foot and we left a day early because it was not a good experience. Disappointed over all

Anniversary weekend trip

3 condos, 1 up & 2 down. We stayed in the left down condo. Dead end street in a quiet neighborhood. Easy drive to beach and stores. Nice screened in back porch and floating dock. Home has moisture, but that’s to be expected being on the water. Would definitely book again.

Location was good. Definitely need to eat at the Crabshack just up the street. The downside of the place is the smell inside and it could use a better cleaning crew.

Overall very nice and cozy

I loved the place , it was nice and cozy and loved having our own patio and dock.The one thing I didn't like was the deadbolt would not work at all on the front door.That gave an uneasy feeling at night and when we were gone. I also could not get the bedroom TV to turn on. I would still come back it was a quiet getaway for our first time in Tybee Island.

Tybee House

Cute Quant little property. Very easy to find. Quiet neighborhood. Could use a little TLC. Downstairs unit has low ceilings. Shower was narrow. Not enough negatives to keep me from booking again.

Trip to Savannah

The condo looked like the pictures on the site. The area was very quiet and was easy to find. The only downside for us was the distance to Savannah I did not realize how far (approx 20 mins) it was when we wanted to go back to go out to eat. Other than that it was a pleasant place to stay.

Pleasant stay

Apartment was conveniently located, nicely decorated and had the basics of what you would need. The bathtub needs to be replaced badly as the crack is now a whole and he shower handle is still missing. The railings on the gangplank to the lower deck also are in very badshape. We had problems with the bedroom tv so I called the owner and he was great. Even tho Jimmy was on vacation he arranged for a friend to come over the same day to check out the problem. Mike was there almost 2 hrs and got the tv working again. Also, the living room furniture could use a good deep cleaning.

Overall the property was what I was looking for

The place was quaint and quite, what I was looking for during my trip to Savannah. My only problem during my 3 day stay, the whole place smelled musty like wet dog and the tub was cracked and shower didn't spray well. Minor maintenance. All in all 5 stars.

Highly recommend

The only real issue was the bath tub has a cracked in it and they put tape on it instead of repairing or replacing the unit and there was no shower handle it was missing again an easy fix but it wasn't. The property owner was great to work with he decorated the place for my wife's birthday and Christmas at a very reasonable rate. A great person to work with.

Spacious for visiting with family

Nice size living room back porch and deck all together. Could use a few more cooking items. Pots pans and silverware. Bathtub has a crack that needs to be fixed. Otherwise great little place.

The condo was perfect for a couple to spend their anniversary weekend in. Clean, neat and private. Would def recommend. Ceilings are kinda low so someone over 6'4" would'nt fair well.

Sweet Little Apartment

We stayed here with the intention of visiting Savannah, which was about a 20-25 min. drive. It was a comfortable place to stay. I was with friend and she took the bed while I used the sofa bed, which was surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen was nice, but was not well stocked with cookware. OK to do simple meals. Great refrigerator and stove. All were clean. If you are looking for upper end accommodations you will be disappointed. Felt this was a decent place for a reasonable price. Also, the beaches are less than 10 min. away and they are AMAZING!

Welcome to Tybee Island! I am a proud native Savannah-ian! Savannah and Tybee Island have grown and changed a lot over the years, all for the better! When I was a kid, they called this Savannah Beach! When my mom was younger, they held dances on the pavilion, which has since burned and has now been replaced by the Tybee Pier and Pavilion. Savannah was established in 1733, so there is much history to be found in our beautiful downtown too! I am continuing the family tradition with my wife and two sons (8 and 17 months) by ensuring they enjoy the benefits of coastal living too. The photo of me and my son were taken on the Back River at Tybee.

We purchased this property as a second home and investment property in 2004. We began renting the Tybee Island Pelican Drive house last year (2013) with great success and have expanded that to both downstairs units this year. This house is used by our family, and we enjoy it quite a bit. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The Pelican house is true Tybee living at its best. The house is backed by Chimney Creek, a tidal creek. The creek has six feet of water at high tide and goes completely dry at low tide, exhibiting the extreme tide changes that we experience at Tybee. You can fish and crab out of your back door or just enjoy the sun on the secluded floating dock. Out of the front door, you have the beautiful marsh and coastal winds 24 hours a day.
