I wanted to love the house, and for the most part we did. Our only complaint was that the 1 bathroom was on the 1st floor and being an old farmhouse, the stairs were very creaky making it difficult to go up and down after we put the baby to sleep (good thing for portable sound machines). It was a bit of a nusance but something we could have moved past. The biggest concern tho was the management and lack of communication. On the first day, I sent a message to ask about the tap water and if it was drinkable, since the property is on a septic system. I was told that they would reach out to the property owner and get back to me but I never heard back. Then on the last night, when we got home, all of the AC units would not turn on. I once again sent a message via Vrbo in addition to calling all of the numbers provided. The first call I received seemed very automated as if I was talking to a robot and they suggested unplugging the units (which was not possible) or taking batteries out of a different remote to replace with the AC remotes. I was told they would contact maintenance and someone would get back to me, however it was all through messages. The owner even said it's a Sunday night and there was nothing that could be done for us. I was extrememly disappointed in how this situation was handled and wished that someone could have just picked up the phone and talked to me rather than trying to communicate through messages at 9pm when I'm trying to get a baby to bed.

This farmhouse is just charming and the hosts have all the essentials needed for your stay. Great central location for Seneca lake Watkins glen and Keuka lake ! Your choice of wineries cheese shops ice cream etc

Watkins Glen Gem

Wjat a great find. This farm house just off the main drag was perfect for two of us. In WG for racing. Ive stayed at multiple houses through the years. My associate used the downstairs bedroom and I one of the three upstairs. Kitchen had all that we needed. The back of the house a long “porch” like room all enclosed had the most fabulous sunrise view across a vineyard and Seneca lake. This house is a gem!

Excellent family stay

We had a great time during our stay. There were thoughtful details for the family and dog throughout the house. The rooms were spacious and comfy, and we were very grateful for the working AC during the heat wave. We came for the race in Watkins Glen, had beautiful hikes, and enjoyed wine and ice cream tasting.

Enjoy a first floor bedroom and laundry room with new washer and dryer split by a beautifully remodeled bathroom! Just minutes from many popular wineries and finger lake attractions!

🏡 MAINTENANCE NOTICE

For your comfort and safety:

Emergencies: For urgent issues such as floods, leaks, fires, or sewage backups, maintenance is available 24/7.

Non-Emergencies: For general issues, maintenance is available daily from 9 AM – 6 PM and will be addressed the following day if it is after 6pm.

🌿 Regular Operations During Your Stay:

Lawn Care: The lawn may be mowed during your stay. Please remove any lawn games or personal items from the yard to allow the crew to work efficiently.

❄️ Snow Removal Notice:
Our plow service works diligently around the clock to clear driveways and keep the property accessible. Please keep in mind that they service multiple homes in the area, so we appreciate your patience and understanding if there’s a short wait during heavy snowfall.
