This Lake Junaluska house (3 queen size beds) and is just the right fit for a family and friends wanting to stay in the mountains but not wanting to stay on the side of a mountain. You have a year round view of the mountains and the lake from your decks, screened in porch , and two sunrooms.

Time to make plans your vacation at this Lake Junaluska home that sits in a perfect location. Only five minutes to I-40 which makes your trip to Asheville or drive to picnic in the Blue Ridge or Smoky Mountains Parkway very easy. Only five minutes to beautiful downtown Waynesville or Maggie Valley. Located one block from walking trail around the lake which makes for a relaxing hike or an easy walk to any of the conference and activities

The house with all the windows you get to feel and see the beauty of the mountains and lake. The two sunrooms one off the kitchen and the other of the main bedroom gives you a chance to catch up on that book, watch the birds or just relax.

As a traveler, you'll delight in the property's array of amenities, including cable T.V., Wi-Fi, and a convenient washer and dryer. Indulge in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, and all the necessary appliances and utensils, making it easy to prepare delicious meals. The large island with bar stools make entertaining, and any cook feel like a 'TOP CHEF'. Savor your culinary creations while enjoying the breathtaking views from the dining tables or tables on the screen in porch and the deck.

Explore the surrounding area and discover the Cataloochee Ski Area, just a 19-minute drive away, where you can hit the slopes during the winter months. Venture to the Wheels Through Time Museum, just 10 minutes away, to immerse yourself in the rich automotive history of the region. For a lively experience, head to the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds, an 11-minute drive from the property. The Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort is only 30 minutes away where you can enjoy exciting gaming actives.

The house rent for 275.00 a night. The house has a 150.00 cleaning fee and a 11% tax. The amount differs depend on the length of your stay. Staying a week or longer comes with discounts.

Superior experience! Their is a space for everyone - bird watching check out the screened in porch; time to yourself, the sunroom off the main bedroom is for you; cooking with the family, find yourself in the roomy kitchen; game night, perfect table in the main living space.Our family will definitely be returning to this cozy place!

Homebase for a Busy Week

This place feels a little like home away from home because we've stayed numerous times. This year was an especially busy year at Lake J, and this place was a perfect place to rest, gather one's thoughts and entertain friends. Alice is always a gracious host.

Beautiful property

I held an event for my academic organization here and it was the perfect space. Multiple rooms to mingle in, ample sitting space, and a large kitchen for hosting dinner. The decorations were cozy and everything was very easy to find! The perfect place to sit and watch the birds or the lake. The host was easy to reach and very sweet, I look forward to booking here again in the future!

Kind Owner, Nice Spaces

My 2nd stay at this home. The neighborhood and area are very nice. The best part of the home are the sun rooms and outdoor spaces. Yes 2 sunrooms! Two decks also, one is screened making an enjoyable area to spend time. The kitchen is nicely equipped. The home is older and in need of some updating but a nice place to spend a vacation at Lake Junaluska.

Relaxing and Refreshing

This place is perfect. It has perfect spaces for allowing time together and time to yourself. The screened in porch provides a wonderful spot for birdwatching and reflexing while taking in the fresh mountain air. The sunroom off the main bedroom allows one to relax among the trees. The kitchen island is the spot for cooking and dining as a family. The round dining table transforms beautifully into a space for playing games and creating great memories of laughter. Our family will definitely be coming back to this house again. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!

Family vacation

Our family gathering was awesome and our host Alice made our stay so enjoyable. Her home is equipped with everything you need. We especially loved watching the birds each morning on the patio. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation

Music week

Beautiful house. Plenty of dishes and other house items. Plenty of parking. We really needed to be on other side of the lake because of the music week activities but we knew ahead of time that we would have to travel. The porches were wonderful for all ages

Great property in an excellent location

The location and neighborhood of the house is practically perfect for exploring the mountains or just relaxin and recharging in pure western NC beauty. It’s also clean, well maintained, and easy. It was a great overall house rental experience!

Relaxation and tranquility

Cozy and feels like home, in a great area! Fantastic place to have family or a place to spend some alone time. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Very quiet and peaceful! Friendly people all around, nice neighbors! Close to lake, it offers everything you need, a home away from home.

Birdwatchers Paradise

This home is in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to Lake Junaluska. The kitchen was very nice. We spent most time in the sunroom off the side of the house looking out to the deck and covered porches. It was like being outside with a very comfy couch and an ample supply of birdseed. So even though it was a wet weekend it was very nice. Huge rhododendrons in front of the house and throughout the neighborhood were alone worth the drive.

Beautiful cozy home with gorgeous mountain and lake views.

My husband, I and little pup Charlie really enjoyed our time at this beautiful house. The house is located just about a block from the lake with gorgeous mountain views from just about every room. They have a bird feeder that attracts the most beautiful birds we've ever seen. The house had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed walking around the lake daily. You'll have to try the crepes at " Crepes & Custard right at the lake. While we usually stay in Maggie valley this time, we decided to do something a bit different We were so glad that we did. It was really nice to enjoy Lake Junalaska so close by. Alice, the host answered any questions we had and was very helpful and courteous. We would definitely recommend anyone staying there and look forward to visiting this gem again!

When I found this property, I knew this could be something special. The location of the house is so convenient to everything and in a great neighborhood made it an easy decision. I remodeled most of the house adding comfort and coziness. I enjoy all the windows and large decks. I lived there for 30 years and decided to let you enjoy the house as much as I did!

You will find my house a great place to stay and convenient to all western North Carolina has to offer. Just across the street is the Junaluska golf course, and a short walk to the pool and canoeing and a walking trail around the Lake.
