Gulf shores Condo

Excellent view and location for the beach. Nice swim pool and hot tub. Grounds were well kept. Sofa was uncomfortable to sit on. Floor was not very clean either. Other than that it was a good place to stay.

Just ok

My husband and I decided to do a last minute trip to the beach. The property was cute and decorated with a fun beach theme. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. Soon after arriving i was barefoot while unpacking and the bottoms of my feet were black. Also, there was a coke spilled under the dishwasher that had not been wiped up before we arrived. The location was good in that we could see the beach but the traffic is so loud. Overall, we had a great time.

Bad with the good

Sadly need to mention the negative items first. Biggest would be cockroaches, had to dispatch them 3 times. Checked with my neighbors and none reported problems. Talked to the rental agent and they basically said welcome to the south. Offered to come and spray but we were leaving the next day. Other negative is the unit needs some tlc, very dated bathroom, needs calking and paint. Good news is great location, the best, comfortable bed and very nice pool and hottub. Regardless of the pests we will be back next year.

When we walked in the condo it was nice and clean but it turned out to have some issues once we got settled in. We had two kids and one of the bunk beds was not made up. The bathroom sink did not drain and the shower made a high pitched squeal when running (not good when sleeping children are 3 ft away). The wifi barely worked and the latch on the balcony door did not lock. It's also very noisy. We could hear everything from our bedroom window. It was nice to have a washer and dryer however it's the smallest I've ever seen. You can barely fit 3 towels in there so be prepared to do a lot of laundry. It's close to the beach but the street is extremely busy and I would not recommend for young children. There needs to be some sort of crosswalk because the cars go flying down this section of the highway. The location was convenienent and the beach was not very crowded in that area since all the high rises were on the other side of the building. Overall our stay was fine but would not stay here again.

Great Stay, Needs some Upgrades

Great location and view. Easy check in/out process. The kitchen equipment was easy to use. The pool and hot tub were very nice. It was a good spot for our family's short stay. A few minor complaints.... Overall the floors, kitchen and bathroom were mostly clean; however, the air vents were molded, the locked doors had an extreme amount of dust on them, the shower curtain was molded and there was old, used soap from a previous guest on the top shower ledge. :( The bed sheets were paper thin and a little rough. The queen bed was hard as a rock. :/ The dryer barely works. We had to dry our clothes 2 or 3 times to get them dry.

Picture Perfect

Stayed with my mother and 2 teenage daughters. Pictures donā€™t do this property justice. Very well kept place and quiet. Saw property security or manger? Keeping an eye on things. We felt safe and had a lovely time. It was an easy walk across to the beach. I could sit out on the patio and see the pool and hot tub area which was nice when the teens wanted to go down and I didnā€™t. Staff was very friendly and responsive.

Overall was pretty much average. The pool wasnā€™t clean. There were a few maintenance issues with the patio door not staying on the tracks, the blinds were broken, the dryer didnā€™t work very well, and one of the mattress covers didnā€™t look like it had been washed. For the price we paid, it wasnā€™t a bad stay. Had furnishings that we needed and enough sleeping space.

Great condo - clean and spacious.

We loved our condo - it was very clean and spacious. We loved having a washing machine and dryer. We used the kitchen for breakfast and had plenty of utensils and pots and pans. The only negative was being across the road from the beach - the traffic was a little heavier than we expected. I wish there was a crosswalk. Other than that - we loved our stay.

Great Rental

This was a great rental. The people were friendly, and amenities were clean, and the condo was great! It has a very nice view and is located directly across from the beach. The only downside was we had 6 people and were coming from two separate states, and they would only allow us one parking pass at the condo. We had to park our second car at the check-in office located several miles away after unloading. Outside of that, it was a great experience!

Weekend getaway

I have no complaints about this condo. When we checked in the staff was helpful and friendly and the condo was clean when we arrived. It is across the street from the beach, so while you don't wake up with the waves is it very convenient to only have to cross the street and you're there. Close by several good restaurants and Walmart if you need groceries. Easy to find.

WE LOVED OUR STAY!

Our stay at Grand Beach Resort was amazing! A quick walk to the beach, a nice pool and hot tub, and there was even security on duty 24/7. Less than a mile from many shops off of the beach and restaurants, including my favorite spot The Hangout! The condo was spacious and clean...cable, internet, and all appliances included. We will definitely be booking again!!!!

Awesome Spot!

I loved every part of our stay at The Grand Beach Resort. We had a balcony with an amazing view. Once you cross the street, you're on the beach. We were only a mile away from The Hangout and many shops. Great pool and hot tub available to all visitors and residents. We had internet access and cable tv, which made it a perfect vacation spot where I was still able to get work done! The condo was spacious and was the perfect vacation spot. I definitely plan on going back!
