We had such a wonderful stay here. The property is absolutely beautiful—clean, comfortable, and full of character. We especially loved all of the antique touches and the gorgeous lighting throughout the house. The setting was probably our favorite part. The house really does sit right on the water, and having the canoes and kayak available to use was a great bonus. We brought along some inner tubes and floaties and spent a lot of time just enjoying the water. The fishing was also surprisingly great! We brought our own rods and probably caught—and released—more than 50 fish over the weekend, including catfish, sunfish, and perch. There were six of us—my husband and me, along with my two kids and their spouses, who live on the East Coast. We flew from Kansas City into Baltimore and rented a car, and they came in from D.C. and New York, so this was a little family reunion for us, and the house was a perfect spot to spend time together. We were completely content to stay put, relax, visit, fish, and enjoy the beautiful setting. It was exactly the kind of weekend we were hoping for, and we would definitely stay again.
