Aloha Carrie, Mahalo for the detailed review! We're so glad the comfortable beds, soft sheets, and in-room mini-split A/C made for a great landing spot after your days exploring. Good tip on driving to The Shops at Wailea rather than walking that hill in the heat — parking is currently free. On the shower: we checked our full communication log and don't show anything about the drain until your note at checkout — we did get and respond to your mid-stay request for glass cleaner, so messages were coming through both ways. We addressed the drain the same day you mentioned it. As for the water taking a while to heat up, our units use a hot water tank rather than an on-demand system, so running showers back-to-back with other appliances (laundry, dishes) can temporarily use up the hot water while it regenerates — spacing those out helps.
