Lake Shore cabin is on the lake with its own boat dock and concrete boat ramp. It has 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Sleeps 10
Our cabin has all the same appliances as your home. We provide all the pots, pans, dishes, silverware. You just bring the food to cook.
Right on the water with fantastic water views, sun rises and sun sets.
Ride your ATV or rent ours
We accept pets. VRBO charges for 1 pet. Any additional pets, we personally will charge you $25 per pet/per night.
Due to Covid-19, we have put in place that, upon check out, we wear a fresh mask and gloves and we also use the Victory Innovations C9 sprayer/solution to spray down the entire cabin. This spray is odorless, tasteless and kills 99.9% of bacteria. The airlines use this system to clean the interior of their airplanes upon passengers deboarding/boarding.

What a great place!

The location could not have been more perfect. While the trek to the house from the main road was a bit challenging, once arriving at the house, you never wanted to leave. The accommodations were great, the host was awesome to work with and we are excited to book it again in the future.

Great past due vacation

Everything was great, the drive to property is not for the faint of heart and you should probably drive a truck or all wheel drive SUV. The host was extremely nice and very helpful with everything we needed. I look forward to going back , if we dont move there first!!!

Andrea our host answered all my questions prior to arriving and was even more hospitable during our stay.. She truly cares about your experience at Kentucky Lake and goes out of her way to make it special. We purchased all supplies prior to arrival As was suggested. Crossing 3 very crossable washes traveling to a home in the woods overlooking Kentucky Lake was a fun experience for all. The home and amenities was exactly like described. If you like a quiet secluded place away from everyday life this is the vacation for you.Morning coffee on the house deck fantastic! Everyday! We rented a pontoon from Andrea for 4 days. We wish we would have rented it for the entire week it was everyone's favorite time. We tubed and swam and explored the Lake according to the detailed map provided and explained in person. We cruised over to Fat Daddy's on the pontoon which was a fun experience for all. Atmosphere, food and adult bevarges would recommend! We went on weekday and it was not busy with hospitable staff . 14's, 17 and 20 year old all had a great time with almost the entire trip spent swimming, tubing, roasting marshmallows, jumping and fishing off the dock. The 28 inch catfish the boys caught made their fishing tip. The shade tent we brought for the lake dock I never put up because we enjoyed being in, on the water' or overlooking it! The mule we rented for 2 days was fun to ride and explore the area and a detailed map was provided for that as well.

Wonderful Lake Vacay

This is our second year at this location and we love it! The property is private. Has everything you need. Owner is amazing! We love swimming off the dock, fishing, doing the atvā€™s, going to the creek for a cool swim and of course tubing! Canā€™t say enough great things!

Exactly what we needed! Peace and quiet is the norm there. The house was very comfortable and the views were great. Having the dock out front was so convenient. Andrea and George are the best!

Family vacation

Our family (adults and dogs) really enjoyed the Lake House. Nice location, right on the lake. Very remote. Spacious house. The kitchen was very well-equipped and we brought in all food for the week. The boat was a big hit. We brought a tube to pull behind the boat, which was a lot of fun. Cons: no shade on the dock area and uncomfortable beds. Would stay here again. Thanks, Andrea, for a great lake family vacation.

Summertime at the Lakeshore !!

After a long drive in from Michigan we finally found the lakeshore cottage across a few creeks and streams and through the beauty of Stewart county. Upon arrival we were stunned by the hilltop view and the setup ! The decks and dock were awesome . The cottage is very well furnished as stated in the listing . The property owner Andrea is the sweetest person to speak with and loved her thoughtful personality! We rented the smaller pontoon all week and enjoyed exploring the many areas on the water. There were nice waterfront restaurants and gas available. I would highly recommend this vacation to water enthusiasts and to those that love the beauty Tennessee offers! We canā€™t wait to come back again.

Beautiful Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lakeshore cabin. It was clean and the size worked well for our group. The boat dock was a great hangout as we brought our own portable canopy to get out of the sun and were able to swim and socialize. We had a minor issue with one of the boats, but Andrea the host was extremely accommodating and friendly. Rented ATV mules and had fun riding the gravel roads & trails. All in all a terrific off the beaten path place to stay.

Kentucky Lake

What an amazing start to our summer staying at this lake house. Our kids really enjoyed the lake, swimming and fishing. The house was fully stocked with enough kitchen supplies, towels and blankets. The bugs are no joke in this area. If your coming here in the summer months bring plenty of bug spray and pants to wear at night if your out by the fire pit. I think adding a screen door to the main door would make a huge difference since our kids kept coming in and out to the porch. The pontoon boat was the highlight of our trip. We had an amazing time taking a boat ride down Kentucky Lake. The homeowner is very nice and accommodating. We will be back soon.

Great time at the lake!

We had a wonderful time at the Lakeshore Cabin! The house was cozy (nothing fancy) & clean & we spent a lot of time fishing & swimming & just enjoying the beautiful view. There were bugs, but itā€™s on the lake, so to be expected (turn the lights off at night & shut the blinds! We figured out by the 3rd day this cuts down on the amount that make it inside drastically!). We rented the pontoon for a day & had a great time. Andrea was very accommodating & helped us out whenever we needed. Donā€™t turn right out of the house, the roads are horrible that way! And the house is on Hurricane Creek, not Hurricane Landing as the listing says. You do have to drive through a little creek to get there, but itā€™s shallow, at least it was when we were there! Overall we had a great time & hope to go back.

Issues that were not resolved

While the house itself is located in a beautiful spot with a great view, it was not as private as we would have liked. There is an RV parked right next door with a family that has animals they allow to roam free. We woke up several mornings with a dog on our porch which upset our 2 dogs we had brought and caused unnecessary commotion. Our first night 1 of the 2 toilets stopped working and the septic was overflowing into the yard. We were told by the owner they could not get anyone out to fix it over the holiday weekend so we were left with human feces in the yard our entire stay. We were told we would be refunded for our stay but then got told there was something blocking the pipe therefore it was our fault and we will not be refunded. Our first night in the house we discovered mouse feces on all of the beds and found some in the dishes in the kitchen. This was a trip for our family to get together after not seeing each-other for years and we made the best of it given the circumstances we were left in. I am highly disappointed in the communication with the owner over the plumbing issue and her unwillingness to take accountability.

Amazing week that ended too soon!

Absolutely beautiful location! The view of the sunset gleaming off the water and the stars at night were breathtaking. Seeing the kids tube, kayak, and enjoy nature was priceless. The home had everything you needed to make cooking and ease. Andrea was very informative and flexible allowing us to enjoy all this home had to offer! I would definitely recommend this property for a family holiday!

Family and friends week vacation

Great location on a cove. We came for the water and the off-road trails and we made use of everything we could while there. Everyone had a great time and canā€™t wait to explore more of the area next year. This house had everything we needed and accommodated 3 families with all young kids.

Great place, great hosts

This property was perfect for our family of 6 people. We rented one boat for 3 days and a mule for 5 days, very enjoyable. One member of our party has a mobility issue and uses a walker. He was able to go to the pier and get into the boat with assistance. This property isn't completely ADA but is better than most we see and the hosts were very accommodating to make things as accessible as possible. Swimming off the pier was great, water was very clean and no weeds. Cell service isn't great but internet was very good. The house is well equipped with and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen hadeverything we needed. This was a very relaxing stay, we loved it, we would definitely like to do it again next year.

Beautiful Views

Beautiful property - secluded and quiet. Had 4 teenagers who enjoyed miles of trails on atvs and riding on the pontoon. Unfortunately it was extremely HOT during our stay and the fishing was not good. But the property was clean comfortable and most importantly COOL. Enjoyed our time making memories.

Nice lake house and enjoyed a day out on thr pontoon boat.

Our family enjoyed our stay. We had a little trouble finding the house because we lost phone service and GPS once we were got near it. Once at the house, you can connect to wifi though. We had a great day out on the pontoon boat.

We are like living in the back woods because that's where it is. No shopping centers, no Walmart just 3 places to buy fuel (We have our own gasoline and diesel for our folks), one full small grocer in the whole county.
One comes here to enjoy nature, wild animals, the forests and the lake.
If you have problems being away from traffic, shopping and people, do not come here.
