Super cozy place. Fully stocked kitchen and great outdoor space. Close to everything in Trinidad as well as the 101. Perfect place to enjoy all of the sites.

It was great staying here! We didn't spend a lot of time here since it was a 21st birthday trip for a very energetic young person (three days later and I'm still recovering), but the setting was beautiful and the house was great. We had a couple of fires in the wood stove and enjoyed how quiet the surroundings were. It's very close to Trinidad Beach (beautiful!!) and to the Beachcomber Cafe and Larrupin'. Beachcomber was excellent and Laruppin' was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to and I'm old . . . so very old. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was great. The location was excellent. We had a really good visit. The only thing I would change is possibly have a fan available since it was a bit warm during the day and the house has no air conditioning.

We love to hear you enjoyed your stay at our lovely Westhaven Woods Home! We will make sure to look into your suggestion. It is rare for us to get uncomfortably warm weather. Extremely rare for houses here on the coast to be outfitted with AC or even ceiling fans as it usually is not necessary! Usually opening the window or door for a bit will allow the house to cool off. In the future we do have a loaner fan we can bring to the house if you are in need. Our property managers can drop it off. We look forward to hosting you again in the future!

Loved this stay. As promised, it was a quick drive to everything we wanted to see and do. The town was small but packed with anything needed- and great restaurants. The VRBO had all that was promised plus spices, oil, vinegar and more. The hosts were very responsive. And the laundry room was certainly used after the days hiking!

Really cute and cozy home in a great location. We enjoyed all the amenities.Minor suggestions: a teapot would be a huge bonus, and filters for the little pour over device would have been nice. I do not like Keurig cups - I do love finding local ground coffee but French presses are a bother to empty and clean. Had to run back to the market to find filters for the pour over, but luckily it’s just down the street and they had the correct size. Other than that everything was great and I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was everything we could have wanted for our stay to explore the Redwoods! It was extremely clean and had plenty of towels, kitchen items and even coolers which came in very handy for our day trips! The hosts were very helpful and responsive to questions and help when we needed it. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the State and National Parks!!

Westhaven Woods Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The longer we stayed the more we liked it. Really appreciated that the cabin was in good repair with high quality construction. Our first impression wasn't great-here are 2 suggestions :When the weather is cool and gray and you see an entry with a broken concrete pad-it lowers your expectation. The living room arrangement looked cold and uninviting with the couch under the window and the chairs on the wall under the TV. We moved furniture , brought the chairs in facing the couch with the coffee table in between. Felt cozy after that.

The home itself was acceptable. Not sure how often it sits empty but it smelled a bit damp. It was clean otherwise. There was what appeared to be demo materials in the back yard that was not listed in the photos like old boards and glass bricks? Otherwise its located in a cute town and close to the redwoods and beaches.

My family stayed here for a week while we explored near by sights. We loved our stay. The home had everything we needed and we loved warming up by the fire each evening. We would recommend staying here to any family or friends.

My family and I stayed in Trinidad for 3 nights on a two week road trip. This place was in a perfect location to visit many national and state parks! We appreciated having a fully stocked kitchen and being so close to a grocery store. We also valued having a washer and dryer! The house was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts responded to us quickly whenever we had a question. We had a fantastic time. Thank you!

This is a great little 2 bed 1 bath home. It is located in a great location and the home and everything included is amazing. I highly recommend this location if you are visiting the Trinidad area.

Very cozy cabin space which is very conveniently located right next to the Redwood Forest. Beautiful yard and view of the river and mountain across the street. The wood stove kept us warm in the cool evenings and the full kitchen and laundry was great to have!

The Trindidad area was wonderful and convenient for exploring the Avenue of the Giants and all of the area trails. The home was clean & comfortable and furnished well. Beds were comfortable and good hot water! It was a lovely stay in a nice setting!

Nice cabin rustic. A few windows and doors at the back of the house had no curtains. The shower had no hot water only slightly warm. But hopefully it will be fixed as I let them know. Easy to book with arrive and leave process.
