Gog and Pop's Beach House - Ocean Views, WiFi, BBQ
Experience an indulgent Pacific Coast escape at this amazing coastal home, featuring ocean views from nearly every room. This multigenerational family home, named in memory of Gog & Pop, is crisp, clean and beautifully appointed above iconic Moonstone Beach. Ideal for beach lovers, surfers and nature enthiusiats.
A unique home perched along the hillside, this cozy three bedroom house is ideal for family and friends seeking to enjoy a relaxed beach life or to serve as a base location for visiting the redwoods and state parks.
The light and bright interior includes a welcoming living room with a smart TV, a well-equipped kitchen, and a big dining room table for serving memorable meals.
There are two queen bedrooms, and a kids room with a bunk bed (twin top, full bottom). Each room has its own closet and dresser for personal belongings. Please note, if traveling with children, there is only one stand alone shower.
On sunny days, fire up the gas grill and relax on the elevated deck overlooking the ocean. Bordered by lush landscape, this private outdoor space is furnished with an array of seating options including chaise lounge chairs for soaking up the sunshine.
The home is easy to use and needs little to no instruction.
Outdoor enthusiasts will delight in an enviable location. Walk across the street and follow a steep 600-foot road directly to Moonstone Beach for sun-filled days relaxing on the sand, paddle-boarding, surfing, or people watching. Jog or explore the 2 mile Scenic Drive to see world famous beach views of Camel Rock, Luffenholtz Beach, and Baker Beach or take the approximately 28 mile drive to many`s bucket list scenic Redwood National Park and explore the Redwoods.
The home is not pet friendly. No outside visitors. No events or gatherings are allowed.
Guests have access to the entire home. The yard is not a traditional lawn. There are paths on either side and a limited rear section. There is a patio for lounging and relaxation with a view.
We are rural and this home does feature unpaved paths and uneven steps to the home. These features may might make it a little challenging for someone with mobility needs.
I go with the flow of what guests indicate they would like for interaction. I am happy to meet up with guests or stay back and provide guests with space. I live one mile from the home and can quickly arrive if needed. I accept phone calls, emails or direct messaging through the listing platform.

Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here. Please review the following house rules carefully to ensure a comfortable stay for you and future guests.
1. Registered Guests Only -Only guests included in the reservation are permitted on the property. -No unapproved visitors or overnight guests without prior written approval.
2. No Parties or Events -Parties, events, or large gatherings are strictly prohibited. -Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM in accordance with local ordinances.
3. Respect the Home & Neighborhood -Please treat the home, furnishings, and grounds with care and respect. -This is a peaceful residential neighborhood — we ask that you be mindful of neighbors at all times.
4. No Smoking -Smoking of any kind (including vaping and cannabis) is not permitted inside the home or within 30 feet of doors and windows. -Evidence of smoking will result in additional cleaning fees.
5. Pets -No Pets are allowed on the property. -Unauthorized pets will result in immediate eviction without refund.
6. Cleanliness & Care -Please remove shoes indoors if possible to help protect floors. -Do not rearrange furniture. -Report any damage or maintenance concerns promptly so we can address them. -Home should be free of odor which may impact the following guest stay (this may include but is not limited to seafood, perfume, smoking, etc.)
7. Kitchen Use -Please clean up after cooking and wash dishes or load and start the dishwasher before checkout. -Do not dispose of grease, coffee grounds, or food scraps down the sink.
8. Bathroom -Only flush toilet paper. Flushable wipes will back up our septic systems. -Do not dispose of grease, coffee grounds, or food scraps down the sink or drains.
9. Trash & Recycling -Please use designated trash and recycling bins. -If staying for an extended period, follow posted instructions for disposal. -Properly secure trash to prevent odors. We are in critter country.
10. Safety -Do not tamper with smoke detectors or safety devices. -Lock all doors and windows when leaving the property. -Use outdoor spaces responsibly and supervise children at all times.
11. Check-Out Expectations -Check-out time is 10:00AM -Starting towels is appreciated but not necessary. -Do not strip beds. We have a process and do not want sheets to touch floors. -Dispose of trash properly. -Ensure the home is locked upon departure. -Turn off heat and lights.
12. All guests must adhere to the City of Trinidad’s Good Neighbor Guide.

Top Notch!
Loved our two nights we were able to stay at this property. Clean with all the amenities you need to feel at home. Close to a sandy beach that you can walk on even at high tide. Also close to Murphys Market which should have everything you need for groceries and a deli for great sandwiches for breakfast and lunch(even gluten free!). Highly recommend Larrupin Cafe if you are looking for a nice dinner. Both bathrooms are located side by side in the back corner of the house with only 1 shower. This was not a problem for us but it might not be ideal if you are traveling with friends. Overall this was a great property that we would be happy to return to in the future!
