Sleeps 2. One bedroom with a king bed, one bathroom, a full kitchen, a living room with a TV, and a balcony off the kitchen.



What to know first: the apartment is up three flights of stairs. The building entrance, courtyard and laundry room are shared with other guests. Parking is metered on the street. No pets. Self check-in.



The Space:

The apartment is on the third floor of a renovated historic building. You will climb three flights of stairs from the shared building entrance to reach the apartment door.



Living room: a cream sofa, patterned armchairs, a TV on the wall, original hardwood floors and a decorative fireplace.



Bedroom: a king bed, a ceiling fan, a TV, a decorative fireplace and a door out to the shared front porch (shared with unit C).



Kitchen: full kitchen with a refrigerator and freezer, a dishwasher, an electric range and oven, a microwave, a Keurig coffee machine, a toaster, a blender, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses. A small table for two sits beside the door to the private balcony. The balcony has chairs and looks down to the courtyard.



Bathroom: one full bathroom with a tiled walk in shower and a vanity. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap are provided.



The apartment also has central air conditioning and heating, WiFi, an iron, a hair dryer, bed linens and towels.

Guest Access:

You have the whole apartment. The building entrance, the stairs, the courtyard and the laundry room are shared with other guests.



The laundry room, on the third floor next to the apartment door, has a washer and dryer that guests in the building can use at no charge.



Parking is metered on the street across from the building. Please check the street sweeping signs before you park.



Self check-in with a door code. Your door code is sent through the guest app by 3 PM on your arrival day.



The Neighborhood:

The apartment is in the Historic District of downtown Savannah. Columbia Square is steps away, and the Owens-Thomas House and Telfair Museums are about a 5 minute walk. River Street is about a 10 minute walk, and Forsyth Park is about a 15 minute walk or a short drive.



Restaurants, cafes and bars are close by. Mrs. Wilke's Boarding Room, 700 Drayton and Crystal Beer Parlor are a short walk or ride away. Convenience and grocery stores are a few minutes on foot.



After you book, we send a list of our favorite places to eat, drink and visit.



Getting Around:

Most of downtown is easy to reach on foot. Uber and taxis are quick and inexpensive.



The free DOT trolley stops a couple of blocks away and runs about every fifteen minutes through the Historic District.



If you drive, use the metered spaces on the street. Meters are free 8 PM to 8 AM Monday through Saturday, and all day Sunday. A citywide parking pass is available at the visitor center. Street sweeping signs are posted on the street, so move your car on sweeping days to avoid a ticket.



Other Things to Note:

Please plan for three flights of stairs. The building has other guests, so sound can carry, and the entrance, courtyard and laundry room are shared. Quiet hours are 8 PM to 8 AM. You may also hear city sounds such as traffic, emergency vehicles, trash collection and street sweeping. Sound machines are provided in the bedroom to help with city noise.



Professionally monitored cameras cover the front entrance, the courtyard and the hallway to the courtyard.



Before arrival you will complete a short check-in form and ID verification in the guest app. We stock starter supplies for a typical 3 day stay: toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and laundry detergent. Please keep shoes off the hardwood floors inside.



Maximum 2 guests. No pets. Smoking outside only, in designated spots. Events must be cleared and coordinated with the host first. Service animals are welcome under ADA rules.



Interaction with Guests:

We live close by and can be reached through the guest app or by phone at any time during your stay.
