The home was even better than expected! My family of 7 adults had a wonderful week with everything we needed. There is so much room— beds, sofa and outdoor furniture was all very comfortable plus the whole house is beautifully decorated. We unloaded our boat at the convenient neighborhood ramp and tied it up at the dock where we went out several times during our stay. We fished and crabbed off the dock— even caught enough crabs to put in our low country boil and had so much fun in the process. We saw dolphins from the deck one afternoon. The views are amazing! Highly recommend!

What an amazing house with an amazing view. We loved our stay here, The house was beautiful with the open plan top floor being the star of the show with that spectacular view that could be seen from the whole space. The comfiest sofa we have ever used in front of the biggest TV so great to watch your favourite films or the game. Debbie was great and quick to respond to any queries- we did have a slight issue with the TV remote not working and not only did she help with a temporary solution but ordered a replacement remote that was delivered the next day! We enjoyed spending time out on the balconies and down on the dock/walkway. Had a lovely day out at Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington which were just under an hour away. We loved our stay here and will be back.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our family vacation. The elevator was a great touch for a couple of our elderly family members. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Beautiful place! We enjoyed our stay for my twin and I for our 79th birthday! Our husbands enjoyed dock and caught fish and a few crabs. All released. Debbie was an excellent host. Thanks again! Very clean Family friendly. Elevator was great for my twin and myself. We can’t climb stairs. Would definitely go again

This property is a total gem. I was blown away by the interior the master suite is luxurious, and the kitchen was easily my favorite part of the home. The views from the balcony are simply magnificent; you can truly get lost in the beauty of the sunrises and sunsets. The house was impeccably clean, well maintained, and worth every penny. Debbie is an amazing host who clearly takes pride in her home, and my kids absolutely loved their stay. We will definitely be back the first opportunity we get

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed the great location on the river with a beautiful dock, wonderful porches, and plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The house is new and nicely decorated. Cons: The kitchen was stocked with dirty, badly worn pots and pans. This was shocking because everything else in the house is new and also problematic as we were planning to cook all our meals at the house. We did alert the host that only a total of 3 pots and pans were usable but there was no offer to fix it, so we had to go to the local Dollar General to buy a skillet and cookie sheet (Walmart and other larger stores and restaurants are 30 minutes away in Jacksonville). Also, while the online pic of the downstairs kitchenette showed a keurig, there was none. Four bedrooms were a great size and very nice (2 have their own bathrooms, 2 share a jack and jill, and the fifth has a half bath near it). The fifth bedroom was small, not as nicely decorated, and had a rock hard mattress that hurt our son's shoulder. It was also very inconvenient because the doors to the laundry area, when opened, blocked the doors to the fifth bedroom AND the half bath, so that was very awkward (folding bifold doors would have been better). Overall, we would recommend this beautiful house if the kitchen amenities were upgraded and expanded, and the fifth bedroom be made more comfortable for future guests.

We loved this home, one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. It was perfect for my family and I and it had everything we needed for our stay It was super clean. The view was gorgeous. There were so places to sit and relax with everyone, inside and out. I can't say enough nice things about this place. The pictures did not do it justice. There was plenty of parking. There was an elevator to get our bags upstairs. The dock out back was a great spot to sit or fish, beautiful sunsets. Great communication from the host.We were about a ten minute drive to today beach and a few local markets. About 20 or so minutes to bigger stores and Surf City. A great, quieter section of the coast.10 out of 10, I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation. I hope we get to stay again sometime.
