2013 marked the first year that this Iconic Sonoma County winery had ever opened up it's grand estate house to guests. This is the ultimate wine country experience for wine lovers. With one of the most magnificent views in wine country, sip on a glass of estate library wine by the pool as you overlook 4 different premium wine appellations. The house comfortably sleeps 8-10 with room for more dinner guests in the Estate House's grand dining room. In the mood for wine tasting? There are 10 premium Russian River Valley wineries within 2 miles, the closest being about 20 steps away from your back door at the winery's own tasting room where you and all of your guests will receive complimentary VIP tastings experiences. In the mood for some serious after hour wine tasting? Maybe a 10 year vertical of Cabernet Sauvignon with dinner? The estate house comes with it's own private cellar where you will have full access to the entire wine history of the winery going back to the 80's. You are 5 minutes to world class dining in Downtown Healdsburg or we can arrange for our private wine country Chef to come to you and prepare a perfectly paired wine dinner as you watch the sunset over wine country from the grand dining room. Pool and brand new Hot Tub overlook miles of vineyards and open space. This property complies with Sonoma County TOT regulations, certificate number 1106N.

Fun, idyllic spot

My family had a wonderful time at the Christopher Creek House. The house overlooks rolling hills and vineyards. There’s a hot tub, pool table and huge dining area. You are near Healdsburg and Santa Rosa so plenty of places to check out and eat. There’s even an electric charger nearby for EVs. Owner is prompt with communications. Excellent weekend getaway.

Amazing location and views. But the house is not well kept. Friend commented “it wouldn’t be so bad if it were clean”(embarrassing as it was my pic). Photos misleading: cheap linens, primary has no closet (laid hanging clothes on the floor). Splintered railing to ice cold pool. outdoor heaters/fire pits not working. Broken shelf in kitchen. Needed to rewash all glassware. Pool cues broken. Dining table littered with broken electric candles. Advertised W/D not available (“we’ve had issues”) Honestly wondered if a fraternity had stayed there before us? Owner said “why didn’t you tell us right away?” Misleading photos can’t be fixed by the receptionist at next door winery.

Amazing house, gorgeous view!

We had a Moms weekend there. The house is super nice house and the proximity of the winery has its pros and cons. Pros: free VIP wine tasting, always someone to help! Cons: workers come at 6:30am on Sat and turn on the music so not a great day to sleep in. :) Accommodate really only 8 people. The beds are comfortable and there is a sleeping sofa up stairs but the extra sofa downstairs is really not an option. Plenty of bathrooms!!! The house is well equipped and the pool table upstairs is awesome!!! Hot tub outside with a great view! Magic!! The house is perfect for a relaxing weekend!

The Perfect House For A Larger Group

After searching high and low for a vacation rental home that could accommodate a larger group, I finally found the Christopher Creek Winery house. We could not have been more pleased with the spaciousness and layout of the home, not to mention the view, pool and of course the tasting room. The owner and employees of Christopher Creek were extremely welcoming and helpful with any requests or questions we had. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a Healdsburg getaway.

A Fabulous Vacation Rental with Hospitality to Match!

The first thing about this property that you will notice are the breath-taking views. Christopher Creek sits on the most gorgeous rolling hills just outside of Healdsburg in the heart of Sonoma wine country. The next thing is the amazing house itself! The Christopher Creek Lodge is a well-appointed home perfectly fit for a fabulous getaway. With plenty of room for ten, this home can fit a full sized party very comfortably. When booking, the owner was helpful with questions about the area and suggestions for places to visit and things to do. After our VIP wine tasting included in the vacation rental, we meandered down to a few other local wineries before eventually making our way back home to cook dinner in the spacious kitchen and soak in a beautiful sunset view from the hot tub. Overall, staying at Christopher Creek was more than just a beautiful place to rest our heads and drink in the gorgeous views. We were fabulously entertained by the entire staff at this family owned winery and we will be back again. (If only to pick-up our wine club shipments we just had to sign up for!) I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. If you don't feel like cooking I would also recommend the Dry Creek Kitchen for dinner in Healdsburg and Williamson Wines just off the Healdsburg square for a fabulous wine & cheese tasting.

My partners and I remodeled the already beautiful Christopher Creek Winery estate house to be the ultimate get away spot for our own family and friends. Every last detail that we wanted to make the most of our limited time off we included. My personal favorite details to enjoy with friends are the hot tub overlooking the vineyard and the custom built 4 player arcade machine in the game room.
