Beach lovers paradise 1 block to the beach in desirable Shell Beach. This is our back guesthouse on a quiet, picturesque street with peekaboo view of Pacific Ocean. Enter the guesthouse through backyard to find 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, in-unit laundry & driveway tandem parking for two cars. Out back, enjoy our backyard putting green and beautiful landscaping. You will find the beach at the end of our street (about 10 homes away) and bluff-top park with views of all of Shell Beach. Take the stairs down to the sand and check out the tidepools. Keep the car parked and walk to shops and restaurants in the quiet village of Shell Beach. For outdoor lovers - surf uncrowded waves, kayak hidden sea caves, run or walk the coastal paths around the neighborhood, stroll the Pismo Pier, hike oak tree studded trails at Pismo Preserve, take the kids or grandkids to ocean view Dinosaur Caves park - all within 2 miles of our home. This location will not disappoint!

The space
This is a remodeled sunny and bright guesthouse at the back of our property which sleeps 4. Downstairs you will find master bedroom with queen bed, dresser and large closet which adjoin a beautiful bathroom with double Kohler sinks and rain head shower. Upstairs, unwind in the living area with leather sofa, reading nook with two chairs and AC and cook up a great meal with a fully stocked chef's kitchen. Enjoy peekaboo ocean and palm tree views up top. There is a full kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, Berkey water filtration. Bedroom 2 is also upstairs and features two twin beds, dresser and coat rack (no closet). Twins can be arranged as a king bed with advance notice. NOTE: this is a 1 bathroom home, so occupants in Bedroom 2 walk downstairs to use the Master Bath. A small balcony with chairs and BBQ is right off the kitchen. A stackable laundry unit is located in the hallway.

Guest access
Guests have their own private unit in the rear of our property but enter through the backyard of the main residence. Guests in this unit also have an upper level balcony.

Our front cottage is typically booked year-round with the same 30 night minimum.
