Modern Cottage In A Great Leland Location

Since originally building our rental cottage, we have constructed a garage and owner living space behind the original cottage as a duplex. We live in the space behind the cottage and rent the original cottage space. The owner-living space is separated from the rental cottage by exterior doors on all three floors for complete privacy. Our guests have full access to the outdoor covered porch area of the original cottage. The owners have separate outside space in the back of the home. The owner's living space has a separate driveway and entryway.

Our rental space is a modern 3-story cottage with a full basement. There is a bedroom with a queen-size bed and attached bathroom on the first floor. The 1st floor bathroom has a tiled shower and two sinks. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, each with queen-size beds. One of the second-floor bedrooms connects to a bathroom which is also accessible from the hallway. The 2nd floor bathroom has a soaking tub with shower. The second floor has an open loft area which contains a queen size sofa bed, sitting area, and work desk. The third floor has an open loft area with two built-in sleeping bunks. The sleeping bunks each have queen-size beds and privacy curtains. The 3rd floor bathroom has a shower stall.

The living room has a 65" Ultra High Definition TV, Blu-ray disc player, and a sound system. The master bedroom also has an HD TV. The home has YouTube TV and Wi-Fi Internet service.

There is a full kitchen with all appliances, food/spice staples, a drip coffee maker, and a Keurig machine. We have a wrap-around covered porch with lounge chairs and a table. We also have a flat yard on the side and front of the home. In the basement, we have a washer and dryer, and ironing board with iron.

We can also provide Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging on site. We have an 11.5 kW "destination" charger for 4-6 hour full charging. Compatible with Tesla vehicles and vehicles with J-1772 charge ports. Please inquire about EV charging needs with the property owner before arrival.

We are long time VRBO users and this was the best rental we ever experienced. It was perfectly designed and had all of the things we usually find lacking in other rentals - clear instructions, hooks everywhere, well supplied, comfortable furniture, and labeled drawers and shelves. The floorplan was perfect for 10 adults. It was spacious and there was no skrimping on the materials used in its construction. Plenty of parking for 4 vehicles.We couldn't have been more pleased with a rental property! We hope to get it again next fall!

Might be the best place for a family group to stay in the Leelanau. Interesting little town and great beach are an easy walk away. The house is very well suited for a group our size (7) or even larger. It also passed our ultimate bathroom test -- which never happens: enough hooks/racks to hang towels and clothes!

Gorgeous home in a beautiful neighborhood

This is our second stay at this house. It continues to exceed expectations. The layout works great for large families with three floors of living space and a bathroom on each. What an awesome place - there with aged parents and young childrenā€¦3 generations. Place was immaculate, very quiet. Plenty of things for kids to do, and great accessibility for mobility-challenged parents. Very clean, well stocked, just a great place. And, the hosts were absolutely great to work with.

Beautiful Home and Location

The house was very well stocked, everything was labeled, and it was nice and close to Lake Leelanau. As nice as the inside of the house is the outside spaces were our favorite with a great porch with eating area, fire pit with chairs, and a nice lawn for games. Weā€™re already looking forward to coming back!

Fun weekend in Leland

We had a great time visiting Leland and our stay was great. We had only 4 in our group but there was at least enough room to accommodate twice that. The place was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, comfortable beds and pillows, and a great location. We were able to walk into the town of Leland. Loved everything about the place!

Lovely home, great location.

This house on 4th street in Leland, MI was close to Lake Leelanau and Lake Michigan. The house was very clean and well equipped. We were able to walk to almost everyplace we wanted to go in town, which was very convenient. The property owner was always quick to respond when we reached out to him. Great house, great location.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything about this home was perfect for our Northern Michigan getaway. The location was ideal for exploring beautiful Leland and all that the surrounding Leelanau peninsula has to offer. And the home was both cozy and spacious with a great layout inside and outside to have some memorable meals together and get some much needed rest and relaxation. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was the perfect size for our family reunion of 10! Exceptionally clean and the perfect location to walk to town and the lake. Everything was thought of in this house- emergency supplies, extra bedding, all the kitchen supplies you could need, info about things to do in the area and a great book explaining all you would ever need to know about the house. To top it off, the owner is really nice and is easy to communicate with. A gem of a rental for sure!

Great place in a beautiful location!

This spot was perfect for some great family time. It is a beautiful home with an owner who has thought of everything to make your stay easy and comfortable. The location is perfect. We were able to take a short walk with a couple of kids to Leland and Fishtown with ease. We hope to stay here again in the future!
