This charming beach property with private pool offers a secluded resort living within the Wild Dunes community that will leave you refreshed, and relaxed.

The property is 10 minutes away to the beach by foot and less than a minute away by bike.

The main floor offers a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and 1/2 bath, all in one bright open floor plan. The veranda is a lovely screened in area to wind down, and enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves in the distance.

The kitchen easily accommodates 6 people around an inviting family table , stainless steel appliances, fully equipped with silverware, China, long stem crystal glasses, and all ustensiles a chef could possibly need.

The dining area is more formal with high end velvet chairs to enjoy a fancy dining occasion around the glass top table, facing the relaxing pool.

The living room offers the comfort of home with two plush couches, 2 large wicker chairs, fireplace and a big screen tv.

The outside deck opens up to the large blue pool that never ceases to please all guests before and after the beach. Lounge chairs await you !

The wooden armoire in the living area is equipped with large soft pool towels for your enjoyment.

The upstairs area offers 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Each bedroom has a shower, whilst the master boasts a large soaking tub also.
The master has a king size bed with tempurpedic topper for total comfort, as does the queen size bed in the second bedroom.
All sheets are 100% fine Egyptian cotton.
The laundry room has dryer and washing machine for your perusal.

The garage can accommodate 1 car and the off-street parking deck may accommodate two more cars as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. As described, it was very quiet and peaceful. We drove to the beach in the morning (parked at "Owners Beach House") and spent afternoons at the pool. Our only complaint is that the week went by too fast!

This house is great! Wonderful location. Pool was amazing. Lots of space. Quick walk to the beach. We also used the bikes that were provided.

Perfect quiet family getaway

Great location and beautiful home. The owners were very informative and helpful as we were first time renters. They were also available at all time for any needs or concerns. We had a great family vacation! Very clean, great location, and beautiful pool.

Perfect for our family

This is our second summer staying at Shrimp House, and we fell even more in love with this home. It’s beautiful, cozy, well-appointed and offers everything we need during our beach vacations. Laurence is wonderful to communicate with and the whole process is such a pleasure. We will for sure be back next summer. Thank you!

A return trip to the Shrimp House

We returned this year to the property. We had a wonderful time with our family consisting of my wife, 4 children (teenagers), and myself. The children enjoyed swimming in the pool throughout the day and evening. Beach access was convenient and the community beach house made trips to the beach more enjoyable. The property has several bikes that we enjoyed exploring and riding to the Wild Dunes Bar and restaurants. The owner was attentive and thoughtful. We hope to return again

Amazing outdoor oasis

The outdoor space is wonderful. Pool was clean and we made use of the lounge chairs and umbrellas. The pool has lights for a night swim and solar balloon lights for an added bonus. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach. We accessed the beach through the Seascape lot. The outdoor shower is very useful returning from the beach. Bring your own beach towels. Pool towels are provided by the host. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bring bug spray if you plan to enjoy the balcony or patio at night. Host had citronella candles available.

Perfect Peaceful Getaway

I rent a house every year for our summer visit to South Carolina. The Shrimp House is at the top of my list of favorites. I felt like I was staying at a friend’s home. The house is so comfortable and lovingly cared for and decorated. I fell victim to the living room sofa’s comfort more than once for an afternoon nap. The pool setting is an oasis that we all enjoyed every morning and evening. (The lights were a cool surprise!) The one, and only, negative is the pillows. I am used to very full down pillows and those in the master bedroom were rather flat but I went on a hunt and snagged some from the third bedroom. Overall I loved the home and hope to return next year if the hosts will have me (I was such a pest!)

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool is fabulous and the house is very comfortable and clean. The beach is a bit of a walk, but we have a truck so we just loaded everything up and dropped people and gear off and parked a 5 minute walk away. Thank you!

Summer getaway to the Shrimp House

This is a wonderful property. The home and pool were very comfortable and well equipped. The home was clean and the owner was available if needed. The beach access is close to the property with a short bike ride. Our children enjoyed riding the bicycles all over the resort. We had a wonderful time and will return again to this property

Schools out vacation

The pool was absolutly great, used every day. The only negative for us was the beach was farther away then we expected but you could park your car at entrance to beach so it wasn't bad. Overall we had a great time.

Shrimp House is great!

Lovely property, very close drive to beach/10 min walk. Space had bbq grill but no grill tools, so we left a set at the property for others to enjoy.

Perfect Vacation & Perfect Place to Stay!

The house was beautiful and the location perfect for our family. Anything we needed was available in the house. Our grandsons LOVED having the pool available right out the door. My sons family spent lots of quality time on the beach. One small warning - if you have troublesome knees or hips there are 2 level of stairs. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful property and stay

This beautiful home and pool was a wonderful vacation stay for us. Each bedroom has its own bath which is very convenient. The pool was so nice to relax by and for my 8 year old to play in while we hung out on the porch. Two things to be noted ahead of time: there are two flights of stairs..one flight to get up to the main level of kitchen and living room and another to get to all the bedrooms. My mother in law had challenges with this. Also we rented a golf cart which made things much easier. The walk to the beach isn’t close especially if you’re carrying coolers and things. But overall this is a wonderful property to stay in. It was homey, spacious and comfortable with well stocked kitchen.

Lovely quiet stay

Second time guests for this property for a week family vacation. Property was as described. Owners are very efficient with communication with any issues encountered. Private pool atmosphere is worth the value. Short drive (2 mins) or walk to beach and about 20-30 minutes from downtown Charleston- lots to do!!

Beautiful Home with a private pool

This is a beautiful home, well maintained, with owners who are very friendly, pleasant to work with, and eager to make our stay exactly what we wanted. We had four adults and a 2 year old. The stairs proved to bit a bit of a challenge with the two year old at times. With more than one toddler, the stairs could be a safety issue if the guests are not prepared. Be ready for the stairs. The beach was a bit of a walk which caused us to not visit the beach as much as we would had we been beach front. But, this home would rent for two or three times as much if it were beach front. The private pool was fantastic! We enjoyed swimming and lounging around the pool all times of day and night. We also ate more than one meal together on the screen porch. The TV system is excellent and provided hours of enjoyment when we wanted to be inside. The neighborhood was beautiful and provided a nice area for us to take several walks.

We had always loved Charleston downtown as a city but once we realized the beach was just 15 minutes away, we were hooked ! it became clear why Charleston is a top 10 city the world over ! We have been enjoying the Charlestonian courteous personality, old preserved streets, and first class dining.
Here in Wild Dunes at home, no better place to unwind, amazing lush resort, by the beach at Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms, simply a stunning beach right behind Ocean Point, easy access through Summer Dunes Lane. All amenities at your disposal, available to all, pay as you go. The beach is a short ride (1mn) from the house, with an unbeatable protected inlet to swim in for those who prefer 0 surf, from Summer Dunes Lane, once on beach walk to the left for 10 minutes to enjoy inlet versus the wide open Atlantic. Home is only 15 minutes to French Quarter Charleston downtown, over Sullivan Island and over the Ravenel bridge, shop on King Street, dine out, walk on White Point Garden. Number 1 city in the world. Come unwind, be renewed !

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We call our house the Shrimp House because of its color. it offers amazing privacy because of its front garden which was possible thanks to the location of the house as a corner lot.
This is a very unique experience as truly you feel there is no one around. It is like a garden of Eden.
So close to the beach, next door to Huey's restaurant, and the Links Golf Course, unbeatable garden with private pool and secluded outdoor shower. You can literally ride your bike everywhere, don't forget to ride to the Isle of Palms Marina, paddle board, kayak, enjoy the marina restaurant and store, the ships, the people. What a treat !
