Beautiful home in Wild Dunes with a private pool and close beach access

Beautifully decorated home in Wild Dunes at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Private pool, cheerful beach decor, and great open floor plan! Other key features include: spacious dining room with a table that seats 8, gas grill, ceiling fans, deck, screened in porch, hot and cold outdoor shower, a changing room downstairs and very easy beach access!

This home is single-level with minimal stairs to the main entry. There are stairs leading to the pool area as well as a walkway from the driveway, for easy access to the backyard and pool area. The pool area also features a pool side shower so you can rise off after a day at the beach or pool.

The dining room and kitchen offer several different spaces for the family to gather, so there's plenty of room to sit, play games and enjoy a meal together! This home's kitchen has a breakfast bar with stools, stainless steel appliances, a large farmhouse sink, as well as both a Keurig and standard coffee maker.

This home has complimentary YouTube TV and wireless high-speed internet. All bed linens, towels and starter kit/ toiletries are included. 1 towel set per person is provided. Beach towels and beach chairs are not provided but are available through local Beach Chair and Umbrella Rentals. **** Starter kits/toiletries include small dish soap, small dishwasher detergent, 1-2 kitchen trash bags, 1 roll of paper towels, TP in each bathroom, starter size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, cleansing bar. Keurig Coffee Maker provided.
Please no smoking or pets allowed.

Pool may be heated for $200 flat fee per week. A 2 week advance notice is needed for pool heating. Please note that the pool heater is a heat pump and will only work if air temp is above 55 degrees. If temperatures drop below 55 degrees the pool will struggle to keep warm. (Please inquire about Pool heating before booking)
Motor homes, trailers, boats, golf carts, and motorcycles are not allowed within the gates of Wild Dunes.
Fireplace is not for guest use. There is secondary driveway from Palm Blvd but this is gated next to the house to prevent entry into Wild Dunes, but does provide additional parking space. Wild Dunes is a gated resort you must enter through the main gate to drive through Wild Dunes.

Very nice home conveniently located right on Palm Blvd. Had everything we needed. Only thing we didn't like was that the beds were not very comfortable.

A wonderful home near the beach in beautiful Wild Dunes SC!l

The kitchen was well equipped and functional. The outdoor grill was a plus and the screen porch was so nice to enjoy the breezes. Lovely home in Wild Dunes

This is a lovely, spacious home one block from the path to the beach (total 10 minute walk). Check-in staff were so pleasant and helpful and the welcome packet thing you need to settle in, plus instructions around the house for tv operation. Pool and pool area was just fabulous! You WILL hear the traffic on the road next to the pool but it’s on and off. We enjoyed our stay!

Another Great Winter Stay

We love the home...comfortable beds and furniture...great layout...LARGE dining table when family and friends visit....small, round “breakfast” table (which we use for jigsaw puzzles..lol). Although we’ve rarely had weather to use the pool, it’s a beautiful spot to enjoy a sunny day and read. We look forward to next winter.

Such a comfortable house and the owners thought of everything. Very close to the beach. Traffic on the main road can get a bit noisy but that's when you just go jump in the pool and forget about it!

Could be Better

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is in a nice location with access to Wild Dunes as well as Palm Blvd. The pool is small but nice. Some issues we had while staying were, the dishes were put away wet and most of the dishes had to be recleaned. If you want to cook, you will have to bring everything and that includes salt and pepper. Pots and pans could use an upgrade. The shower handle that controls the water kept coming off during showers which was not fun. The screen door on the screened-in porch would not close. The door to the second bathroom was loud and you had to use force to close it. There is no beach equipment there for you to use, you will have to bring your own. There is a golf cart but the owners don't allow use of it. There is a porch off the main bedroom but for some reason the very heavy bed is pushed up against it so you can't open the door and enjoy the porch. There is a ceiling fan in the main bedroom but you can't use it without the light being on. The property is close to the beach which is nice but the mosquitos were bad this year due to Debby. Lastly, the property management wanted us to accomodate Comcast while we were there vacationing. I couldn't believe it!

Mosquitoes were so bad this time, we only went to the beach 1 time. We wore bug spray and long sleeved shirts with long pants, but the mosquitoes bit right through our clothing. We utilized the pool every single day. We love that you do not have to enter the house through the Wild Dunes gate if you choose not to. The bathrooms had some black mold in the showers but we contacted the rental company and they fixed that immediately. We love this home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay. Number 4 Dolphin is more than rental 's a home. The furnishings are first rate and the location is excellent. We loved the flexibility to park on the Dolphin side as well as the Palm Blvd. side of the house (without having to use the WD gate). The beds were comfortable and gave us the flexibility to have family stay with us at times. Our granddaughter spent several weekends with us and she had a ball. We were fortunate that the weather warmed up enough for her to use the pool a couple of times...not bad for the winter. We had 8 family members comfortably dining at Christmas and we weren't crowded...the dining area is very accommodating. The people at Island Realty have been extremely helpful and welcoming to solve any concerns that arose. We look forward to our return next winter.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we pulled into the driveway we were in awe and at peace, so happy in this space. The design/decor details are impeccably thought out - so interesting and heartwarming - and everything was clean and comfortable. The surroundings are of other gorgeous beach properties, bike paths, golf courses and everything coastal South Carolina. The property was as good or better than described regarding location, layout and amenities. It is only a few minutes walk to the beach, which is not crowded at all and amazing at sunrise and sunset. The pool is small but just fine for a small family like ours. The outdoor shower and grill are perfectly placed and we loved the porch swing as well! The kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful and had everything we needed, except a little scarce on paper products. The furniture is in excellent condition. We sat around the long dining table for every meal, sometimes watching the living room TV as it is in perfect view from the table. The only maintenance call we had to make was for help with the dishwasher, and that was quickly resolved by simply sending a quick text to the management. The washer (laundry) is pretty noisy so we just didn't run it at night. There are popular restaurants close by but we only ventured out to one of them on our last night because we didn't really want to leave the house! The grocery store nearby is very nice, and there is also a butcher and seafood market with good options. I can see why people rent this house for months at a time. We are so grateful to have had this opportunity and would love to return someday.

Escaping Maine Winters

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house. Very convenient too the beach and close to shopping. Only downside to location is the traffic on Palm Blvd. This is our third stay at this house, two months at a time. Usually Jan. and Feb., this year Dec. and Jan. If you like to sit on the screened-in porch, drinking your coffee, or reading a book, you need to accept the cars driving by. It can get quite busy. If you are inside the house then there was very little sound of cars driving by.If you cook, then the kitchen could use a few more tools. bring your citrus zester,(micro plane), a salad spinner, pastry brush, and maybe a meat thermometer. Also, the non-stick pans are pretty scratched up. I went out and spent $50 on two new pans that made me feel much more comfortable with cooking.The management staff is excellent. This is my fourth year on Isle of Palms, two month stays. the last three times in this house. I was very impressed with the helpfulness and quick response of the staff. I have never experienced staff as helpful, pleasant, courteous and responsive as this management team.
