DOG FRIENDLY - One Dog permitted at this property with pet fee and acceptance of Fernandina Beach Realty's Pet policy. Only dogs 40 pounds and under permitted. Cats are not Permitted.

Cute 2 bedroom 2 bath house located just minutes away from 27-hole Fernandina Beach Golf Course. Nicely decorated with Bright Colors and Comfortable furniture this ground level Beach home is Perfect for a Family Vacation. Living room and kitchen are Oceanfront; both bedrooms are street side. This property is a duplex and only the downstairs is rented. This unit is Pet-Friendly with one dog permitted. A pet fee is required.

**NO ACCESS TO UPSTAIRS UNIT OR DECK PERMITTED** No access to garage.

Amazingly well-kept, ocean-side property.

This house had everything we could ask for...The kitchen had all the amenities we wanted and then some. The living room was plenty big for our family to gather without being stacked. The walk to the beach was great across the boardwalk. It never creaked nor swayed. The week was perfect!

This place is way overpriced. The dog fee is outrageous. A beach house with no beach chairs is just silly. The 4pm check-in is simply annoying for people who have driven more than 1200 miles to get there. The porch furniture is just marginal. Overall definitely not worth the cost.

Just what we needed

Space was perfect for us. The beach wasn’t crowded, the house and yard were lovely and Amelia Island was wonderful. After being cooped up for so long, we really enjoyed the house and wonderful access to the beach. House was lovely and beds very comfortable! Will definitely come again!!!

The place could be really nice, but needs some serious maintenance, and the unit was filthy.

1 - Place was *filthy* when we arrived. Literally wads of pet hair everywhere and it smelled of a cat box. (We have indoor pets...which we did not bring on this vacation...so I am understanding of normal pet hair/smell). There was also some sort of sticky drink that had been spilled on the nightstand....bottom line, the place was never cleaned. 2 - AC did not work when we arrived. Guy came out to fix it, but ended up leaving a large mess that I had to clean up 3 - Dishwasher didn't work 4 - Irrigation system ran...literally...for four days never stopping, despite me calling twice about it. The property management company was understanding and refunded me for two nights since I wasted my first three days vacation dealing with problems. They also waved the cleaning fee since it was obviously not cleaned before we arrived (they did send out a very nice couple to clean on Sunday who did a good job).

Beach house

The best part about staying at this location is the access to the beach. We felt like we had our own private beach all week! It was truly amazing. For that reason and that reason alone we would consider this place again. The accommodations were fair but definitely as advertised. Our biggest complaint was the cleanliness and lack of adequate supplies (toilet paper, sheets for the pull out bed, dishwasher detergent, towels). In other rentals I haven’t had to purchase extras or have these things on my own. I wished I would have known and just brought extras from home. I am a bit of a clean freak so the cleanliness might not have bothered others, but it was clear that a dog had stayed there prior to us being there. The bathroom rugs needed to be washed. The kitchen windows were so filthy I washed them myself since the view was beautiful. Some coffee mugs and silverware were dirty in the cabinets/drawers. Overall, though, it was a really great week.

The location and property were perfect. Biggest issue was us to bring our own linens and towels. Created difficulties packing etc.

Great Location - Peaceful

Property was located just far enough away from the main area of the beaches. Early morning with the sunrise out the window were great. Pups had a private backyard and enjoyed running around. Had to pick up some things around the yard from other dogs from before. Dog owners, please pick up after yourself. I don't blame the property manager. I blame the dog owners. Brining our own sheets was a little of a hassle since we were driving up and spending a couple of weeks riding around before heading back home so it was extra packages since other VBRO's did not require those items. I'd rather spend extra time putting everything in the laundry before leaving for the prep for other guests and housekeeping like we do in other AirBnB's and VRBO's. But that was the only inconvenience just having to bring our own linens. Other than that we love Amelia Island and property.

Great house

This place was perfect. From the distance from downtown to the small walk to the beach. Meet the owners while there and they great. Would stay there again and would recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

Great location and access to beach.

Property was adorable and nicely decorated. Maybe a bit too much little furniture. Needs some more outdoor furniture and grill. Yard needs some TLC and landscape sprucing up. No view from the house per se but beautiful skies and access to beach. Kitchen could use some more supplies for cooking. Mildew smell was quite strong but guess expected near the water. When owners are above its too noisy downstairs. Lucky for us they were there only for one night. Loved the area will be back again !
