The space
This work-from-home-friendly 3BR/2.5BA lake house offers direct access to Candlewood Lake, with breathtaking views from every front-facing room, as well as from the spacious deck and porch.
KITCHEN
✔ A fully equipped kitchen comes with all essentials—coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, cookware, and plenty of utensils.
BEDROOM 1
✔ King-sized bed with soaking tub, balcony, and full bathroom (sleeps 2)
BEDROOM 2
✔ Queen-sized bed with closet.
BEDROOM 3
✔ Two single bunk beds, sleeping a total of 4, and a closet.

✔ Check-In & Check-Out Extensions: Early check-in and late check-out are available for $25 per additional hour and must be requested ahead of time. Approval is subject to availability.
✔ Pets: All pets under 60 pounds are welcome with prior approval. The pet fee is $150 per pet, per stay.

✔ To book this property, the primary guest must be at least 25 years old. They must also be present during the stay, and only registered guests are permitted on the premises.
✔ In-home parcel deliveries accepted with prior approval. Guests are responsible for all personal items and unattended deliveries; we are not liable for loss, theft, or damage.
✔ No parties, events, or unapproved visitors are allowed. A violation of this rule will result in a $1,500 fee.
✔ Smoking, vaping, or drug use is strictly prohibited on the premises. A $500 violation fee will apply, along with any additional cleaning costs if required.
✔ Pets allowed only with written approval.
✔ Guests are liable for any damage or missing items.
✔ Use outdoor amenities at your own risk.
✔ No commercial use or subletting without approval.
✔ Replacement fees will be charged for any lost keys, remotes, or gate openers.
✔ Do not move or remove furniture, décor, appliances, electronics, or amenities (e.g., hot tub, board games, etc.). Any damages, especially those caused by misuse or failure to follow instructions, will result in additional charges. Guests/Tenants are responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement of each damaged item, plus a 10% service fee applied to the invoice.
✔ The use of any items, food, or beverages that could clog, contaminate, or impact the cleanliness and proper operation of the pool or hot tubs (e.g., balloons, unauthorized toys, or trash) is strictly prohibited, if applies. A violation fee of $500 will be assessed.
✔ Report any issues within 24 hours of arrival.
✔ Unauthorized early check-in/late checkout incurs a fee equal to peak nightly rate.
✔ Cancellations and refunds follow platform policies.
✔ We recommend travel insurance. Refunds aren’t guaranteed during outages or severe weather.
✔ Quiet hours: 10 PM–7 AM. Neighbor complaints may lead to termination without refund.
✔ In alignment with the Department of Environmental Conservation’s efforts to prevent pollution and wildfires, any fire created outside of a designated fire pit by guests or tenants is strictly prohibited and subject to a $5,000 fine.

Our home stands out with its prime, direct lakefront access on Candlewood Lake, complete with private docking and peaceful water views in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. With about 2,600 sq ft of living space, it includes 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and sits on a well-maintained 0.28-acre lot. Originally built in 1978, we've carefully maintained and upgraded it over the years, adding storm-resilient features like a rebuilt stairway to the lake, a restored gazebo, and updated lighting that meets lake authority standards. The combination of lakefront living, solid construction, and a serene setting makes this home truly special, especially in a neighborhood where many properties don’t have direct water access.
