Nestled among coconut palms and lush tropical landscaping, the Turtle's Nest is steps away from Upper Captiva's white sand beaches and the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Experience an untouched tropical island paradise with pristine beaches, resort amenities, world class fishing, boating, exotic nature and wildlife, and the best shelling in the world.

Have it all in a spacious two-story beach home with four bedrooms that comfortably sleep twelve people, including a king size bed, two queens, and two full/twin bunk beds. There are two large living / entertaining areas, one on each floor, and tons of outdoor living areas. The gem of the house is the tower deck that provides unobstructed, 360-degree views of the island, Gulf and bay. Bright natural lighting from windows in every room of the house.

Guests enjoy the North Captiva Island Club, just a short walk from the Turtle's Nest. The club amenities include resort style pools, hot tub, tropical pool bar, marina with boat rentals and dockage, and fine dining

Great stay! The owner was incredibly responsive when we had a little hiccup and helped solve the issue immediately. Would stay again! Great pricing and beautiful home!

The house was beautiful and comfortable. Everything you need is there. The owner communicated wonderfully with us. Close to the beach. Golf cart was fast! We booked last minute and they accommodated us and made us feel welcome. Plenty of towels, beach and bathroom towels. We would stay again for sure!!

I loved this property, the location and boho interior decor was so calming and beautiful. Such a charming place to stay, and lots of beds made it very useful.

Great time and experience!!

The turtles nest felt like home away from home. Location on the island was perfect to access everything and the accommodations were outstanding! The place was beautifully remodeled and decorated and all the necessities were provided! Would highly recommend!!

Best vacation ever

It was in an excellent location. I loved when the food was delivered that the gentleman brought it right to the house and carried it up the stairs for us. I loved the golf cart transportation and easy access to activities and the ocean water.

House was great. Duncan and his team do a great job with all you needs including helping you get loaded and unloaded. If you love the the water, sun and beach... this is a great place.

Great 4 bedroom house

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very charming and well appointed. It has two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs and each floor has its own living/lounging area. It’s a great layout to give everyone a little extra space. The owner Taylor is extremely responsive as is the management team, so you can be sure you are in great hands for your stay.

Lovely house

The house is really nice and comfortable. Amazing services. Quick response at any issue. Great for kids. Be aware that the last water taxi to get to the island is at 5,30 so you can’t plan arrive later than that unless you paid for a private boat.

Dreamed home

The house was absolutely beautiful and fantasticly located. The decoration was amazing from top to bottom. The owners were always very friendly and responsive to our concerns and accommodated all our needs. The only issue were the golf carts but we managed it. There were plenty of beach and bathroom towels. I cant wait to go back again.

Better than the pictures

Great house and very friendly management team. We were traveling with young children and found it to be an easy stay. The bunk bed room was a hit. Some supplies are lacking in the kitchen so bring your own salt, pepper, mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons. The house has tons of beach towels, toys and linen so you can leave that at home.

Great location!

Our second trip to North Captiva did not disappoint! The Turtle Nest is located walking distance to the beach (or you can take the golf cart and park it and the end of the road.) Also close to Mainstay and Barnacle's in case you're looking for a Captiva Breeze or ice cream. The house had everything we needed for our stay and was the perfect size for our group (3 adults and 3 kids). The WIFI and cell service is spotty but who needs contact with the mainland when you're in paradise?! Will be back again soon!

We had a nice family time!

It was a very relaxing week. Our family enjoyed the close by beach, the family friendly atmosphere, and the amenities of the resort. It would be nice to add some curtains or blinds on the first floor to reduce the light in the bedrooms. I know it is a work in progress. We would stay again though!!

Very nice place to stay

We liked this house pretty well, and I‎t was convenient to the club/pool. Everything was clean and comfortable. Just a few improvements would be helpful — one bedroom has no electrical outlets, and I‎t took a long time to figure out that a switch in the tv room had to be on in order to turn on the lights in both downstairs bedrooms! And there are no mixing bowls of any kind in the kitchen so that was a bit of a challenge while cooking. But overall, a nice place and we enjoyed I‎t!

Amazing home for multiple families

We had such a great time on N. Captiva! The property manager was so helpful bringing our belongings to the house and showing us around the island. It was an unforgettable, relaxing trip. The screened-in top deck is great for meals or relaxing. The house was the perfect size for our three families (including 5 kids). We also loved that there were so many beach towels, toys, and chairs to use! The spiral staircase is slippery when wet and we did have a couple of kids fall, so be careful if traveling with small children. Everything else was amazing!

Great family vacation

After a very stressfull check-in day we had a great time. (It took two hours for the management company staff to get our luggage, groceries and other belongings to the house. Meanwhile, my husband became overheated.) The house was not steps to the beach, but it was within walking distance. The house was perfect for a large family...we had plenty of room for six adults and five very active children. The beach was great! The location was extremely beautiful and peaceful. The owner was very responsive.

Paradise....

We stayed here in late March and it was heaven! The house is large enough to accommodate to families of 4 plus some. The layout works well and it's clean. The owner, Taylor, returns emails right away and is super helpful. Once there, we were picked up by Laurie and she took care of needs and maintenance issues during our stay. Any location on the island is just as good as another, so this location works well. There were a couple little maintenance issues: broken fridge door handle, non working TV, etc.
