Cleanliness: 1) the rooms were very clean: all dusted, windows clean, counters clean.2) the drain in my shower was slow: when I took a shower, the water backed up. I ended up cleaning the drain myself, and then it was ok.Communication: 1) the host's digital welcome, and printed material was clear and timely.2) I sent the host messages twice, but received no reply.3) there were several devices which I googled to find out were thermostats with no indication of what they controlled, or how to use them.Ad: the rental unit was a narrow townhouse, but the photos made the rooms seem bigger.Location: the rental unit was conveniently located for our use. The was a coffee shop nearby. And we walked to Lincoln Park in about 15-20 minutes. The neighborhood was quiet: the main street was more than a half block away, and the unit is located on an alley.Trash disposal: the host asked us to dispose of recycling and trash. There were 2 issues. 1) there was no explanation of what was trash and what was recycling. I had lived in Seattle, so I knew. A first-time visitor wouldn't. 2) the horse numbers on the trash and recycling bins were hard to read.Overall impression. OK, but the host could respond to VRBO messages better. The coffee set up was ground coffee with a French press. The ground coffee tasted bad. I suggest using a different system or providing a coffee grinder.Would I stay there again? I would hesitate, but might for a 1-2 day stay, and needed to be in that area.
