had all the things we needed - stocked kitchen, beach equipment was very helpful, getting to beach and Whaler's village was tricky if walking. Parking on site was extremely expensive-- ridiculous to not have a pass for visitors to use. shampoo/conditioner/soap was teeny tiny

Hawaiian escape

We had a wonderful visit in Hawaii. The location for this home is great. It was spacious for our family of 4. The bathrooms and appliances could be updated but overall it was a perfect place for our family vacation

Loved this condo! Located in a quiet, peaceful area but close enough to get to beaches and Whalerā€™s Village. The condo was so comfortable, spacious and beautiful. Loved the lanai.

Excellent location and space

This was our second stay at the Kaanapali Royal. The location is ideal for visiting the various beaches, black rock, Whaler's village, Lahaina, etc. We loved the layout of the condo, and having a large living room, kitchen, multiple bedrooms/bathrooms make staying here a no-brainer vs. staying at a hotel. We loved how we could access the pool by exiting from the porch.

Beautiful Condo close to Kaanapali beach

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay at this condo. The set up of the condo is very nice. Spacious master bedroom. Two twin beds in guest bedroom are comfortable but mattresses are a bit firm. Bathrooms are spacious and nice. The location of the condo is not far from public beach parking near the Westin and Whaler's shopping center.

Great Family Holiday Option

This property was conveniently located a few minutes walk to Whalers Village and beaches while the complex has a variety of amenities (inc pool & BBQ) that we were able to easily access and use. This made it all very easy for our family (parents & three teenagers, 15 18 & 19) to come and go as we wanted. The property manager was very responsive and the check-in process very easy. The unit is as it appears in the photos and had all that we needed inc. beach accessories and towels. It was a great base for the handful of days we spent on the island.

Property very nice. Close to pool and jacuzzi. Played pickleball. View is beautiful. Lanai is great for evening sunset and anytime 15 minute walk to whalers village and the beach. There were 6 of us. Spacious and had everything you need. Pull out couch for 2 guests not comfortable(most are not). Felt bad they chose to sleep on the regular couch for 8 nights. Overall I highly recommend and would stay again.

Very spacious! There was plenty of room and even areas we did not use such as the front patio and a side room off the second bedroom. The master was large with a separate dressing area. The living room was very spacious as well. The location was a win for our teens with a ten minute walk to the beaches, snorkeling with turtles, black rock jumping, and Whalerā€™s Village shopping and dining. We were very pleased!

I'm not much a reviewer for these types of things, but I did want to commend the rental company and owner for providing us excellent accommodations on our trip to Maui. We really liked this unit. It has a unique setup that didn't feel cookie-cutter, and space enough for the whole family to breathe. Liked the layout and the care that has obviously been put into the place. The resort was equally maintained at a high standard, and the front desk person was very helpful in regards to our questions on island activities. We appreciate you providing such a nice place to stay.

A most excellent stay

Summer vacations should always be this much fun. Our family came and stayed at this condo for our first time in Maui. Really blown away by this resort and the location. The resort was very quiet and peaceful. Not packed like we've encountered at other resorts. The pool was perfect for our kids, and whenever they wanted to go down to the beach, it was just a short walk away. The condo is professionally looked after and maintained at a nice standard. Clean, updated, and it delivered on everything it said it had in the ad. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the place is actually quite roomy. The near area is also fantastic. They have this village/mini mall about block and a half away from the resort. Good restaurants and shops all over nearby. I got my tourist shopping on in a big way! Lahaina was only about a ten minute drive away, and that was super cool to check out. You won't get bored staying here!

Great location for family gathering

Great overall location for a family holiday gathering. Some hiccoughs with the check-in: information that was transmitted regarding gate code was incorrect; since we arrived late in the evening when property management office was closed, we called the "emergency #" as directed--no answer. Snuck in through the gate behind a car going in and clarified the gate code through the condominium association office the next morning. Property management company was surprised to learn it had changed. Next hiccough was a nonworking gas grill and then dishwasher. Property management replaced the grill quickly, but no functional dishwasher for our stay was disappointing, especially since we asked for and were denied a reasonable compensation. I recognize that we were traveling during the "high season" and that the taxes and fees included in the nightly rate were not received by the owner, but it would have been an act of good will to refund us a small amount for the inconvenience. (Maui is expensive and our budget including cooking in as much as possible, but we had planned on having a functional dishwasher). The positives (and there are many): this is a spacious condominium, comfortable for a family to have privacy and "together" time. The outdoor lanai overlooks a golf course, is a 15 minute walk to a beautiful beach with snorkeling and cliff jumping, and is just 50 yards from a meticulously maintained pool and hot tub. Everyone was able to do what they wanted when they wanted to. The condominium was comfortable , safe, and generally quiet. Would recommend for a family stay.

Location is perfect for family

Family vacation with two adult sons.ovation is just a short walk to everything. Kitchen was great for breakfast daily. . Lanai is beautiful. We grilled by the pool one night. Would definitely stay here again.

The unit was spacious, full of light, and the judge lanai was wonderful for us to sit and eat our meals while we looked at the golf course and beyond. We would stay here again.

Perfect for a family
