The Bay View Cottage is a charming two-bedroom, one-bath cottage tucked beneath the shade of mature trees along the bayfront at Mermaid's Bay Boutique Estate—a private 3.5-acre waterfront retreat in the heart of downtown Islamorada. With peaceful views of the Florida Bay and a shaded front porch that stays cool throughout the day, this cozy cottage offers a quiet island escape while keeping you close to Islamorada's best dining, shopping, and recreation.

The protected boat basin can accommodate boats of all sizes, providing direct access to the Florida Bay. Dockage and trailer storage is included with the stay.

Rentals are from Friday to Friday. Differing dates may be approved on a case-by-case basis.

This property is locally managed by Solace Properties. Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive a rental agreement via email to review and sign. Rental payments are processed directly through Solace Properties, while VRBO collects their service fee separately. Great time at the Bay View

My wife and I just love staying at the Bay View Cottage. We consider it our "home away from home"! We have stayed at the Bay View a few times and it is just an ideal place for my wife and I to escape the Midwestern cold! Jocelyn does a great job of making sure we are comfortable during our stay. Excellent Property

We had 2 adults and 3 young kids. The property had plenty of room, was clean and in a great location. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Christmas vacation

We had a wonderful time! Everything was perfect! Great location and the property was very well maintained. Beautiful views of the bay. Our cottage was very clean and we had everything we needed to cook, do laundry, etc. Would love to return in the future!

Pleasant January Escape

Very positive experience. Nice, older cottage, but updated, comfortable, clean and well appointed. Water access and amenities were great. Close to stores, shopping and dining--walkable if willing to tolerate noise of highway. Other units were not occupied when we were there, so very quiet and private.

This place is a Gem

Better than the listing. I hope we can come back. Quite. Classy, laid back. Very cool and comfortable. Perfect! We brought jet skiis and were able to launch them and park in the marina. Doesn’t get much better than that. Tony was down cleaning the pool every morning. The place is well cared for.

Great place

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was secluded and we appreciated all that it had to offer. We swam in the pool, had a campfire, played in the ocean, and fished right off the dock. The house was cozy, had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. Tony and April responded very quickly when we contacted them and were extremely friendly. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Great private location close to all the fun stuff

This is a cute cottage tucked away on gorgeous grounds. Close to the pool and an amazing view of the sunset. We had some windy days and the pool, which has a gorgeous view of the water, was protected and warm. Tony was responsive and helpful. He provided everything from beach towels to fire wood to have a waterfront fire.

Best vacation ever

It was an amazing property with gorgeous secluded beach front. We were able to use their boat launch and dock for ultra convenient fishing. The pool/ hot tub was incredible maintained daily and even the beautiful sand roads groomed. The owner was beyond kind and responsive. And this property was walking distance to restaurants like pizza and 5 minute drive to nicer restaurants. It was sparkling clean to the point I thought the oven had never been used. You can relax watching a sunset with your private fire (wood provided) or enjoy the canopy of beautiful trees and blooming hedges. We are planning on being back soon and we are from Washington State so not near for us. You will love it!

The Perfect Hideout!!

It’s even BETTER than advertised! We feel So Fortunate to have found Tony’s Place! It is Spotless, Very Private, Peaceful, Plenty of room to move around without running over somebody, On the Water, close to EVERYTHING, Foliage is Beautiful, Heated Pool, Spa and Waterfalls ( especially at night with the Lights) is to Die for. The Cottages and House have been Beautifully Restored and just Complete the Whole WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE of staying there!! And I’m not done, yet! Then there’s TONY! He’s the MAN!! He gets all the CREDIT for doing what it takes to get this Whole Operation up and running! He is EXTREMELY EASY to work with and he will ENSURE YOU that your stay will be what YOU WANT! One last thing. The Keys, the Highway with ALL the traffic, can be a Very Busy place, but, when you Open, Drive thru and the Gate close’s, its all left behind and You’re HOME!! I hope you can GO and ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE! We’ll SEA you there next January and February 🏖🐬🌺👍🍹😎‼️

How cute is this? * Perfect Abode for our 10 days *

We rented this entire property out for 10 days over 4th of July 2021. - What a great place - property was recently new to the vacation home market. They offer it as a 3 +/- acre property with 3 separate homes - all comfortable and complete with fabulous amenities . This Lime Green home has 2 separate private screened porches and 2 bedrooms with spacious common areas. The home was immaculate on arrival and smelled fresh upon entering every time during our entire visit. The pool is a resort style pool that is shared with all 3 rental houses - but has plenty of room for everyone, without feeling crowded. You can rent the homes together for a family reunion as we did, or you can occupy only one home for your stay. Plenty of space to spread out on the well maintained grounds and have privacy when needed. We brought our 23' pontoon boat with us and the dock space offered was perfect for our needs. This is a family run property and I will say they know how to make a guest feel welcome and very special. Communication was quick, and Tony was extremely accommodating for our needs. He went above and beyond to please us all. It was a fabulous vacation for the 15 of us - we made some great memories! We will definitely be back.
