LAKE LURE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR RECREATIONAL BOATING, FISHING, OR SWIMMING IN THE 2025 SEASON. Although the lake is closed and lowered while Hurricane Helene cleanup continues, there is much that our beautiful foothills area has to offer. LAKE ADGER, LAKE LANIER, SHUMONT LAKE, and MIRROR LAKE suffered no damage, so homes and those lakes are available. BALD MOUNTAIN LAKE in the resort is open and beautiful. We are welcoming guests in over 60 beautiful homes to use as a "home base" for visiting nearby towns, restaurants, shops, hiking areas, and seasonal special events in Lake Lure, Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain, Saluda, and Tryon. Golf is open to the public at Rumbling Bald, and local area wineries, breweries, trails, and music are within an hour's drive. Many of the Chimney Rock shops are set up at the Tryon International Equestrian Center Pavilion. Chimney Rock Park is now open!

This great property offers a main lakefront home with two bedrooms and two baths, and a wonderful log cottage next door with an additional two-bedroom and 1.5 baths; both offer spectacular views of majestic mountains and the alluring lake that will rejuvenate your soul.

Just imagine enjoying nature’s splendor and your morning coffee from the numerous decks available; whether you like sun or shade, it will be easy to find any time of the day. The deck and floating dock are sure to add tons of summer fun! These are only a few Lure Lure homes with just a few steps down to the lake!

The comfort continues inside. There are wonderful views from every room, ample seating for dinner and conversation, and a beautiful stone fireplace. The best description for the interior is perfect lake fun. Nice private location and only 7 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 8.2 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 18.6 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC).

Perfect for Couples, Families, or Friends
This home places a premium on privacy with two separate living spaces, making it perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful escape with family and friends. This getaway offers open-concept spaces with two bedrooms and two baths in the main home and two bedrooms and 1.5 baths in the log cottage. This property comfortably sleeps 8, but up to 10 guests are welcome.

Living Spaces
When you drive to the property, you will find a two-car carport, ample parking, and easy access to your home and cottage. Inside, you'll find a functional kitchen that is open to the main living area so everyone can be together in a comfortable, great room (unfortunately, the fireplace is non-operational). Walk up to the cottage; there are two additional bedrooms, each with a private toilet and sink, but a shared tub/shower in the middle.

Outdoor Amenities - PONTOON BOAT RENTAL (Currently unavailable due to Hurricane Helene)

There is a 20' SunTracker (Party Barge) Pontoon Boat for onsite rental (contact info supplied after booking) that seats 10! $450/day or $1800/week (7-night stay).

3-day minimum for stays of 5 nights or more.
2-day minimum for stays of 4 nights or less.

** Since this home has a boat rental available, no other boat rentals are allowed on-site.

A highlight of Lure Me is the ease of getting to the water. Minimal steps to the lake and even steps to walk right into the water. There are two Canoes and one Paddle Board for guest use. Lots of outdoor seating and gathering space, a floating dock, a fire pit next to the lake, and more! This home has everything you could want for a lakefront/mountain retreat.

This mountain home is perfect for every season! In spring and summer, the weather is wonderful, and the sunsets are inspiring. The myriad of colors in autumn brings visitors from near and far. With the leaves absent from the trees, the winter views are entirely new.
