Luxurious Mountainside Oasis -- Legacy Villas is the best value in So. Cal. and the ultimate spot for a memorable family getaway. We are right next door (one block) to the Waldorf Astoria La Quinta Resort and Club, built in 2005 as a luxurious annex to the hotel.

State of the art construction and amenities, channeling the original aura of this mystical locale. The one and two-story Spanish Hacienda-style villas, with sloping red-tiled roofs hanging over whitewashed plaster walls are luxuriously furnished in early California decor, and boast 10ft. wood-beamed ceilings and 1950 square feet of space, providing the getaway seeker plenty of room to stretch out for a day, a week or a month. Soaking tubs, Wall-mounted flat screen T.V., Kohler fixtures, maple wood cabinetry, dream-sleep mattresses, designer sheets and towels, granite counters and stone tile floors all add to the opulent spa-like ambiance. The fully amenitized chef's kitchen and open floor plan are perfect for entertaining groups, and all balconies and patios feature private electric grills and patio tables to enjoy cooking and dining outdoors.

The living room as well as both master bedrooms all open through charming french doors onto tranquil balconies, where the aromas of surrounding bougainvillea and glowing palm trees complement romantic evenings of al fresco dining or wine tasting under a canopy of stars. The dual master suites each contain en suite bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and stall showers with floor to ceiling tile.
Additional features include Hi-Speed WiFi, HBO, Showtime, Netflix, HULU, and Smart TVs, ceiling fans, built-in washer/dryer, and three fireplaces. With all this comfort, you'll never want to leave your villa.

Guest Access
For those able to pry themselves from the villa, the swimming options abound with 12 private salt water pools and 11 relaxing Jacuzzis, including dedicated lap pool, tranquil adult pool, and the ultimate family pool and play area with its beach-like entry, plus splash fountains and resort cabanas (free of charge). The inviting hammock garden, outdoor fireside lounge area, poolside Cafe, game room, and state of the art fitness facility round out the spectacular 10,000 sq.ft. Clubhouse at the heart of the resort.

For a host of additional options, guests can meander next door to the Waldorf Astoria La Quinta Resort and Club, featuring shopping, outdoor music, six fabulous restaurants, a world class spa, and two Pete Dye championship golf courses.

Main Renter booking the Villa is responsible for their group, must be 21 or older, and must be occupying the property booked for the entire stay.

House Rules
No smoking; no pets without prior consent of owner. Owner may permit small dogs with a $25/nt. additional pet rent. For April Festivals, all guests must be individually registered with the HOA for access at least four days prior to arrival.

Guests have complete access to our home. Our full time manager is available to help resolve any issues or greet the guests upon arrival, if requested.

Fantastic stay in La Quinta

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful ā€” spacious, modern, and perfectly maintained. Each of the three bedrooms and bathrooms could easily be considered a master suite, offering comfort and privacy for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped, perfect for cooking and sharing meals together. The location is ideal ā€” quiet, yet close to everything La Quinta has to offer. We also loved having a choice of swimming pools to enjoy throughout the day. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful from start to finish. We truly loved our stay and would not hesitate to come back!

Awesome house for our family long weekend getaway!

Our family of 4 enjoyed the house and the location! Beautiful views, clean and comfy house, fun pac-man machine for the kids and easy check-in-check-out process! My only feedback would be having a few more necessities - cleaning supplies, hand soap, hand lotion, a bag of coffee, some games, like many of the other VRBOs in Legacy Villas.

Lovely stay, attentive host

The villa is as described and worked perfectly for our family. The host was easy to contact and helpful, as was the property maintenance person. Everything was clean and comfortable and worked well. We used all 3 bedrooms and still it felt roomy. I'd stay there again!

Spring getaway

We rented this unit for our family of 4 plus my parents and had a very enjoyable stay. The house location was great, in a quieter location of the complex with great mountain views and a wonderful pool/hot tub just paces from our door, and the space was perfect for our needs. Dan was very responsive throughout our stay. We would definitely return!

Fun Mini Vacay for my 14 year old Triplets!!

This property was great!!! It had beautiful views of the mountainside. The place was very spacious and extremely clean. My teenagers loved having their own bedrooms and bathrooms to spread out in. We all enjoyed the pool, hammocks and walking the property. We would love to come back and rent this specific property again!!!

One of the better villas at Legacy

Weā€™ve stayed in numerous villas at Legacy over the last 4 years. This is one of the better ones. Being adjacent to the mountain, and having two private patios made it very appealing. Interactions with owner/ manager were good.

Lovely Stay!

My family had the best time! We had a range of ages including a senior and two toddlers, and everyone loved the home! I Loved the layout of the home, and how comfortable the beds/sheets / pillows were! Also, they had a pack n play set up for my toddler which was so convenient! I loved the patio, overlooking the beautiful rocks! It was just a treat to sit outside and watch the wildlife! The grounds of the resort are absolutely amazing. My kids loved the pools so much (especially the one designed for kids with the splash pad)! Highly recommend this home for families :)

Top rating for this Legacy Villa

We stay at Legacy Villas at least twice a year for family vacations. We have stayed at many different locations on the property and this one tops the list. Being neat freaks we appreciated the cleanliness of this unit. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Also, the location is perfect with mountain view & a very short walk to the pool. We will definitely try to book a stay here in the future if itā€™s available:)

ā€¦if you want a quiet and secure gated environment tucked against those amazing La Quinta mountains, you've gotta try Legacy Villas Resortā€¦the Pickleball level of play at Fritz Park which is very close by is you're best bet this end of the desert for consistent great games and friendly vibes on the courtsā€¦stayed here before and wouldn't go anyplace elseā€¦

We've been renting at Legacy Villas for a few years now and it's always a pleasant experience. Always clean, always well appointed, always well stocked. The team is responsive and we leave feeling refreshed and content. This location was wonderful. It's tucked towards the back end of the property where it's a little more private and quiet (the property overall is pretty quiet, which is what we love). The villa is beautiful. Comfy beds, an extra soft bed, Nest thermostat, washer dryer (with laundry detergent!) We highly recommend!! Thank you, Dan and the team!

Palm Springs vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely resort! A few rounds of golf, a day at the amazing zoo, and time to relax by the pool completed our trip! The condo was steps away from the pool and had a private view of the mountains and a short drive to old town la Quinta. The only down sides were difficult to control internal temperature with only 1 zone for the unit so keeping all bedrooms comfortable at night took some adjusting. We also had a nonfunctional coffee pot and though it was quickly replaced, the one we were given was very small for 4 adults. Overall we had a great stay and I would definitely choose this location again!

Perfect stay!

Loved how this place was tucked away in the back of the property right next to the mountain. We hardly encountered any other guests. Just steps away from the pool! The condo was extremely clean and modern. Very comfortable for the whole family. Only thing is we could not find extra bedding for the pull out bed. And all faucets and showers only had hot water. Made it hard to cool off. We really enjoyed our stay and would def like to return! Thank you for an awesome stay!
