We had a fantastic week on the Island. JusMarNa Penthouse was perfect in every way. Our host was tremendous and having the car made things easy as we travelled most days including 3days at different beaches. If we didn’t go to the beach we used the properties beautiful pool. Highlights were climbing to top of Fort Louis and our walk to Dany’s Beach Bar for Sunset. Billy Bones Snorkling Tour was a terrific day. Best was being able to walk to the square of restaurants from the Penthouse each one special in their own way. Can’t wait to do this again.

Just SUPER from start to finish.

We had a great 4 night stay at this property. The owner was just great to deal with from checking in to departure. Unit was in perfect condition, and extremely well stocked from beach towels to coffee. Plus the use of a car. Huge comfortable deck. We will be staying there again.

Perfect Every Time!

My husband and I have stayed at JusMarNa several times over the past few years and continue to return to this property as it has much to offer. Very spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a perfect stay. We have been visiting the Island for 18 years and stayed at many properties, but once we found JusMarNa it has been our home away from home when visiting the Island. Fred is a very hands on owner making sure your stay is as perfect as it can be. Couldn't ask for a better person to rent from. Highly recommend this property, and hope to return next year. A Great Time

We had a great visit to St Maarten, staying at the JusMarNa condo. The place is fabulous and even more impressive in person. Fred is very responsive and provided a great list of activities and restaurants to visit. Cupecoy is private but close enough to the action in Maha & Simpson Bay. We enjoyed trips to Marigot, Phillipsburg & Pinel Island. Don't hesitate to rent JusMarNa...it was a great experience!

Nothing Better on St.Marteen!!

We are over the moon about this place.First of all,if you like the pictures,wait until you see it for yourself!!Almost looks too good to be true,but it is "all that and a bag of chips."The property owner is hands on and always accessible,not that you need him.The place has it all,every single comfort you could want.From Viking appliances,all cookwares,pots,pans,microwave,blender,beach towels,beach chairs,Direct TV,washer and dryer,exquisite decor and on and on(and if the included car isn't enough).Fred the owner is a gentleman and eager to please his clients.After owning a time share in Little Bay for the last 6 years,I told them to keep it and I will continue to rent this beautiful penthouse for as long as Fred will have us.I promise,RENT THIS PLACE,YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Outstanding Penthouse in Porto Cupecoy!

My husband and I rented a condo in Maho in Dec 2015 for three weeks. We found Porto Cupecoy by chance and kept going back there to their restaurants on property as well as the grocery store. We found Fred's penthouse and booked without hesitation! Sharon, the property manager was there to meet us at the plaza when we arrived. She showed us around the condo, etc. She was easy to get in touch with if need be. She also let us know about the events in the community, etc. as well as arranged a taxi for our return back to the airport. The condo is beautiful!! my husband is the cook and loved the Viking appliances! The bed was very comfortable! it was also great to have a washer/dryer in the unit...and the views are simply outstanding!! loved sitting out on the balcony... we also appreciated having the Vonage phone as we both have parents that are aging! It was also nice to have the local cell phone...we went to dinner at Skip Jacks one night and called to make reservations. The car was great, we ventured out a couple of times during our 1 week stay. We mostly stayed in the area, went to the grocery store several times, located right in the plaza! We had dinner one night at the Rendezvous and we had several lunches from the grocery store where there is an area in the back of the store where they have fresh cooked food such as fish, rice, veggies, chicken, shrimp...good stuff!! It is fairly easy to get around the island. We walked from Porto Cupecoy to Maho and went to the Sunset Beach Bar, which has expanded greatly for anyone that has been there before, but not recently!! This is where people go to watch the planes!! If you go out for dinner, outside of Porto Cupecoy and make a reservation, allow extra time for traffic. We were fortunate enough to meet Fred and his lovely wife, Carol and had lunch with them one afternoon. They are very nice and welcoming! We would highly recommend this property and hope to return again soon!! :) Kim and Jim Berry, Michigan

Our Third Stay at This Outstanding Property

2016 was our third stay at this outstanding property. This apartment ranks number one for us as our favorite accommodation in St Maarten. That's quite a statement because we have been visiting St Maarten since 1977 and have always chosen to stay at first rate properties over the years. The owner is an extremely gracious and thoughtful man and has provided for all the creature needs one could want. The apartment is spotlessly clean. The furnishings are first rate and the amenities of free wi fi, phone and a free car while at JusMarNa are the icing on the cake. We are already booked for 2017. Allan and Pat

Best yet! A Class Act!

We have been vacationing in SXM for years and were ready for a change of pace. We found it and more at JusMarNa at Porto Cupecoy. Every detail was taken care of. For starters.. the use of a car exclusively for us with an assigned parking space. Stunning décor, appliances and furnishings. 24/7 security. Wifi. QUIET and peaceful. Just beautiful. Fred was always just a phone call away. This was just a spectacular vacation for us and yes, we will be back. We really were able to relax at this beautiful villa.

FANTASTIC! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RENTAL!!!

This property is fantastic! The condo is beautiful and beautifully furnished. The view is spectacular from both the balcony and the condo. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony and have a morning coffee and see the beautiful bay and mountains. The host is very attentive and has made the condo very visitor friendly. He has provided a vonage phone for free long distance calls to the States, an island cell phone for your use as well as included a car. The car is new. It was wonderful to not have to worry about booking a rental car on the island as I had heard some of the companys were very unreliable. The host sent us information about the activities taking place in the complex on the dates of our stay as well as responded to all our inquiries during the booking process immediately. The location is phenomenal with all you could ask for right within the complex: pool, tennis courts, gym and a plaza in the complex with a number of very good restaurants and shops if you do not want to venture out, but also conventiently situated to go sight seeing all around the island. There is a very nice shopping mall within a 2 minute walk from the complex. I cannot say enought good things about this rental. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this property.

Perfection Personified!

My husband and I visited St. Martin in September 2014 and stumbled across Porto Cupecoy. I told him, "this is where we are staying next year." So I got on VBRO and found this amazing condo JusMarNa. This condo is simply stunning and the owner has thought of everything to make this an enjoyable experience. The pictures are true to the interior of the condo and the furnishings, dishes, linens etc. are top notch. The decor and supplies have been carefully thought out by the owner. Porto Cupecoy itself is a gorgeous area and this condo overlooks the beautiful marina area. The fact that the owner provides a car with this condo is extremely helpful and generous. The property manager is very professional and informative and made arriving and departure a breeze. We have stayed at many VBRO properties and this unit by far exceeds all of the other properties. I am a real estate broker and see a lot of properties and I can assure you a vacation at this condo will be one of your best experiences to date! Kat & Dennis

A Wonderful Place to Call Our Temporary Home

For our seventh trip to St. Maarten in 2015, we chose to stay at JusMarNa, Fred's penthouse at Porto Cupecoy after he so graciously met with us in the Plaza at Porto Cupecoy on the day of our departure while on our last vacation in 2014. Fred's penthouse unit is everything as stated in the condo description and so much more. Photographs do not accurately reflect the amazing views of the lagoon, the lowlands, the French hills, to Marigot and beyond. We enjoyed the fireworks in Marigot on Bastille Day from the comfort of JusMarNa. The accommodations were incredibly spacious for a one bedroom unit, quite comfortable, and immaculately clean. The housekeeper visited twice during our 11 day stay washing the bedding and tidying up a bit. There are plenty of beach towels, wash cloths, bath towels, etc. and there were even a couple of cooler bags for the beach as well as a beach umbrella which proved to be much needed on the beaches such a Plum, Long, and Cupecoy. Fred has added some beautiful new artwork not shown in the pictures of the unit. The art features the paintings of a local artist and are quite striking. Additionally, Fred has a new car included with the rental of his unit which made getting around the island more pleasurable. Fred met us in the plaza on the day of our arrival and personally introduced us to his property taking the time to explain all of the features of his unit. Fred was an extremely gracious host who kept in contact with us via e-mail throughout our stay. My husband and I would not hesitate to stay at JusMarNa anytime we need a one bedroom unit. It was a lovely experience from beginning to end!

JusMarNa -- Amazing Stay

We have been vacationing to St Maarten for over 20 years and this year we found a beautiful property at JusMarNa penthouse at Porto Cupecoy. It is a spectacular location, the appliances, furniture and decorating was lovely and certainly makes you feel like you are at home...very comfortable. The sound system,wifi, and telephones and car was a bonus. Beautiful views and easy access to shopping and beaches nearby. Our vacation experience this year was special as we celebrated our 40th Anniversary and we are looking forward to returning next year. Hopefully we will get to meet you Fred!!! A Month in Paradise

My wife and I spent a month on island and stayed at JusMarNa. Fred has a well-maintained penthouse unit which was always quiet and a great home after a day's activities. We enjoyed walking the grounds and marina at Porto Cupecoy. Everything described in the earlier reviews is reliable. We had a maintenance issue arise during our stay and both Fred and Porto Cupecoy were very prompt in quickly addressing the issue. We were totally pleased with our stay and have already scheduled our time in 2016.

Hard to Get Better then JusMarNa Penthouse

This was the 9th consecutive year we have vacationed on St Martin after growing weary of cruses and several other islands. We enjoy the beaches, the restaurants and my wife the shopping. For 7 years we rented villas at Oyster Pond but found the travel time and climb up the mountain getting old. After trying a villa in Terres Basses in 2013 we found JusMarNa and gave it a go for 9 nights. This place is a GEM! Great location, modern, quiet, well furnished, a rental car and one of the best owners you could ever meet. Fred makes sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. We will return and if we bring another couple will use his 2 bedroom property.

JusMarNa has it all and then some

We spent a great deal of time searching for the perfect location for our one week vacation St. Martin /St. Marteen. And we found it in this location. The penthouse has every amenity you can think of and then adds luxury items like a wireless sound system, beautiful views from the huge terrace, a car and easy access to restaurants, a grocery market, the small beach and a great pool. It is very clear that the owner was thoughtful in the design of the home, it's amenities and he really believes in delivering a premium stay. We will return to the island primarily because of the time spent at JusMarNa.

Fabulous Property!

I have stayed in some wonderful properties in St. Maarten, but Jusmarna Penthouse was the best yet! The location is excellent! Everything I needed was in this property. The appliances, furniture, and decorating was top of the line...felt like I was home. I would highly recommend Jusmarna Penthouse to anyone who desires an elegant, spacious, quiet, first-class property. It more than met all of my needs and expectations. Fred was the perfect host, and he makes the best Moscow Mule! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Excellent stay!

Our stay in St. Maarten was fabulous! Having the convenience of the car and phones was a great help! The a/c at the whole resort went out for half of our stay and Fred did everything he could do to make sure we were informed and comfortable while the resort worked to get it back! Porto Cupecoy is a great resort and this condo is amazing! Thanks again! We can't wait to come back!

This is one of the top places we have ever stayed. It needs nothing. The area and condo is everything you could expect in a vacation . Great place to stay

The description and photos that were depicted in this listing are very accurate. No 'bait-and-switch' here! It was exactly as advertised and had such great amenities a a king-size bed, hair dryer, washer and dryer (needed to Google what the slots in the dispensers meant - should have asked Linda!), safe, iron and ironing board, beach chairs with an umbrella, Satellite TV, a SONOS music system, free-to-use phone, a cell phone for use in the Dutch part, a fully stocked kichen as far as dishes, utentils, and pots/pans, dishwasher, microwave, and ceiling fans in every room. It also had a coffee maker which, once I figured out how it worked, worked beautifully for making hot water for my tea (don't drink coffee!). The views were amazing and the balcony was a perfect place to take them all in. There were four restaurants right within the compund with a market right outside. Although I didn't use the pool, it looked like a very nice one. There is a beach directly across the street and an extremely nice beach (Mullet Bay) about 10 minutes away. If we come back here, I would definitely stay again. Loved it! Only reason not to recommend for families for young children was that it was a 1-bed place. the couch folded out which would work for teenagers but not young kids (in my opinion).

OMG!

This was my first time booking with "home away from home" and our first time to SXM. Thanks to everyone’s reviews we decided to give it a try and it exceed all of our expectations. The place is just lovely.. The apartment is just amazing and had more amenities that we have at home. The Jusmarna penthouse is fabulously decorated and meticulously well maintained. We felted right at home.. Porto Cupecoy is such a great location we were thrilled in every way. Fred is such a great host his hospitality is just amazing. Thanks so much Fred for making our stay so enjoyable. We will be back for sure.

My husband and I have travelled our fair share to SXM and thought we had found all the great perks of this beautiful island until we stayed at this condo. It surpassed all our expectations and was immaculate in every way. Fred was such a wonderful host and resource for all our needs. A dependable car was provided that has great gas mileage. The amenities included were far beyond what we could ask for the price we paid. Porto Cupecoy is such a great location for any traveller and the complex is secure with a beautiful pool and gym. The balcony and windows boast views of the Marina and city. We cannot wait to return to this property for all our SXM travels.

I retired in late 2006 following a 37-year career in human resource management. I retired in California from a company in the energy sector. Prior to that I had a long career with one company in a number of geographical locations including Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Chicago and Cleveland.

The majority of the year I reside at the Villas of Shore Pointe, Cupecoy. Therefore, when you rent JusMarNa Penthouse the chances are very high that I will be on island and personally help get oriented to the property. I have engaged someone to provide meet and greet services for first time JusMarna Penthouse clients if I am unable to do so.

When I am not in St. Maarten I reside in Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, DC.

I bought some timeshare weeks at the Sapphire Beach Resort and therefore started coming to St. Maarten annually for a couple of weeks. I feel in love with St. Maarten and the convenience of Cupecoy.

Next I purchased a two-bedroom condo at The Cliff at Cupecoy intended as my SXM retirement home. In 2008 I moved to a villa at Shore Pointe and began to market Chez SoColisa as a one or two–bedroom rental property. Due to the success we have had promoting Chez SoColisa the need for a complimentary one-bedroom property became obvious.

We searched high-end condo properties in hoping to find a very nice one-bedroom to compliment Chez SoColisa. This search included a one-bedroom at The Cliff and three one-bedroom condos available at Porto Cupecoy. JusMarNa Penthouse simply put was the best property available on the market. It like all of the Porto Cupecoy condos has been finished with high-end cabinetry, appliances and other appointments. Located at the end of Porto Cupecoy, JusMarNa Penthouse provides the tranquility provided by the confluence of the majestic Simpson Bay Lagoon, the mountain range beyond and the French side nature preserve. Many condos at Porto Cupecoy enjoy the beauty of the Marina and its vessels but few enjoy the view offered by JusMarNa Penthouse.

Porto Cupecoy is a unique development in St. Maarten with its Mediterranean inspired design. The plaza surrounded by restaurants and unique boutiques promotes a lively environment with consistent family oriented activities. Security was clearly a priority in the design of Porto Cupecoy. Indeed you can’t walk or drive to JusMarna Penthouse without a security escort or without possessing a remote control to drive into the well lighted secured garage or a key fob to walk through secured gates. The covered garage parking space that is reserved for JusMarNa Penthouse residents is only four spaces removed from the elevator that will take you up to JusMarNa Penthouse.

Porto Cupecoy provides a state-of-the-art air-conditioned fitness center overlooking the outdoor pool available for your use at your discretion. These wonderful facilities and the tennis courts are reserved for the exclusive use of Porto Cupecoy residents and guests.

I love the convenience to a variety of beaches within walking or short driving distances on both the Dutch and French side of the island. This includes both traditional beaches and clothing optional beaches.

I love the variety of excellent restaurants surrounding the plaza, down the street and a couple of minutes away by car in Cupecoy and Maho.

Lastly, JusMarNa Penthouse is very competitively priced against other high-end one-bedroom one & one-half bathroom options available in SXM. Additional, it includes the use of a car during your stay. Your only obligation is to replace the fuel you used. JusMarNa Penthouse has been designed to comfortably sleep 4 with no “up-charge” for the 3rd and 4th persons.
