The house is beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. Convenient location. Easy walk/access to the beach by attached walkway from deck. Grateful for elevator! Nice floor plan.

This was a wonderful property. Our family had a great time. The home is relatively new and clearly has not been rented very often. The location is great. Close, but not too close, to Surf City for shopping, restaurants, etc. Only a mile from a farmers market for fresh vegs. Not particularly close to public access so our section of the beach was not crowded on any day. We had a 2 year old with us so the child gates on each set of stairs was a very welcome addition. The owner reacted very quickly to our questions and a few minor issues. Cost seemed reasonable for like properties in the area.

Our stay at this stunning oceanfront beach house in Topsail was nothing short of unforgettable. The moment we walked in and up to the main floor we were welcomed by sweeping panoramic views of the ocean—exactly the kind of peaceful, picture-perfect setting we were hoping for.The house itself was beautifully maintained, bright, and airy, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a true home away from home. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying coffee on the deck while watching for dolphins was absolutely magical.One of our favorite parts of the trip was walking along the shoreline and collecting shark teeth. We found so many! It became our daily treasure hunt and added a fun, memorable experience to the stay.The location couldn’t have been better—quiet, relaxing, and just steps to the sand. The private beach access was unbeatable. Whether we were walking on the beach, exploring the island, or simply unwinding indoors, every moment felt relaxing and rejuvenating.We would return in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a serene, beautifully situated oceanfront getaway this Topsail beach house is a perfect choice!

beautiful home right on the beach in N Topsail. Location was perfect! Made lasting memories with my adult children, daughter in law, grandchild and future daughter in law!

We loved our stay here! The location and views are amazing; every bedroom faces the ocean and it was perfect for our family. The house is well appointed - including plenty of beach chairs - and with two grandchildren, we so appreciated the built in baby gates and high chair. Communication with our host was easy; she patiently and quickly answered our questions. But the real star is the beach - just steps from the back door. We hope to come back next year!

Our family of eight had an absolutely incredible stay at Rescued By the Ocean for a special wedding weekend celebration in the nearby cities of Wilmington and Jacksonville. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the breathtaking ocean views. The house spans four floors, and each of the five bedrooms offers its own view of the Atlantic, making every morning and evening feel magical.Being right on the beach was a dream. We spent time playing in the waves, taking long walks along the shoreline, relaxing on the spacious decks, and simply enjoying the constant sound of the ocean. One of the highlights was seeing the sea turtle nests nearby—a truly unforgettable experience.Rescued By the Ocean was everything we hoped for and more. The home was comfortable, spacious, and perfectly designed for gathering together while still giving everyone room to relax. We left with full hearts, wonderful memories, and hopes of returning again someday. Highly recommended!
