We do want to clarify a few details for future guests, as this review does not fully match the timeline in our message records. Your first message about the pool came in at 5:17 PM EDT. We replied within 7 minutes, offered the resort clubhouse pool and hot tub as an immediate alternative by 5:54 PM, sent a cleaner the next morning, and had a pool technician out the same day. As for the door alarm it is a pool safety alarm. We sent instructions and a diagram before arrival explaining how to use it correctly. Regarding the grill, the propane tank ran out during use and was replaced the next day at no charge. We want to be very clear that there is zero evidence of a grease fire. No fire was reported to us during the stay, no photos or documentation were provided, and no vendor during, prior, or post-stay inspection found evidence of a fire or related damage. Because you were unhappy with the property, we offered the option to leave and receive a refund rather than stay somewhere that was not working for your family. You chose to continue the stay, and we continued responding, coordinating help, and sending vendors to the property. Across the stay, we exchanged more than 30 messages, attempted to call you, and sent multiple vendors to address the concerns raised. Communication continued throughout the visit. We were also disappointed to find damage to the property after departure, along with checkout past the approved time. We are sorry the stay did not meet your expectations, but we made repeated efforts to respond quickly, provide options, and resolve issues during your visit. The home has hosted many families with 5-star feedback, and we will continue working hard to provide a great guest experience.
