Great, simple yet comfortable stay

Beautiful and functional home in a charming, friendly neighborhood (I got to know the neighbors on either side of the home). Friendly and helpful hosts. Terrific proximity to supermarkets, restaurants, and the gym (Planet Fitness, on Broadway). Private back yard with a covered patio and a grill. I stayed for two months and family visited twice during that time, and loved the place as much as I did. Large, well-equipped kitchen with plenty of work space. Large and small appliances were all functional. Obvious that the hosts put some thought into what people might use.

Beautiful home away from home

My family stayed at Gomez Casita and it was so amazing. The house is very well kept and check-in was smooth and easy. The Arizona room was a great place for my college daughter to work on her schoolwork in peace. We felt very comfortable and at home. The house is spacious and had everything we needed. I will definitely check if this place is available when I return to Tucson.

Great Home Base

We really enjoyed our stay here while out for family weekend for our daughter at UofA. Great amount of space for sleeping two families of 3 and all the little things you might need while at the house. Clean, great communication and great space in a quiet neighborhood with food and grocery’s near by.

Great place, very clean they supplied welcome treats which was so nice! They allowed us to check in earlier then we were supposed which was so nice since we had an event to attend that night.

Lovely home and attentive hosts!

The Casita Gomez was perfect for our family of 4 over the Christmas holiday - clean, comfortable, and cozy. We really appreciated the special touches provided by the hosts - Christmas decor scattered throughout the house, including a little tree with lights. And the abundant hot water for showers was wonderful after our many hikes!

Back to Tucson

Had a great time at the house. Perfect size for a family of 4 with two young adult kids to spread out. Was a good location for us since we were all over Tucson. Clean and comfortable. Back porch was great -- spent a lot of time out there sipping coffee in the morning and catching up with old friends in the evening.

Quiet relaxing holiday property

Robert and Nancy are perfect hosts. A bowl of fruit and bottle of wine greeted us as we settled in. Everything felt and smelled clean. Linens crisp and beds firm and very comfortable. Located in a nice quiet residential neighborhood away from major streets. We will stay here again.

Nice & Clean House

We were very pleased with our stay at this property. The home was nice, clean, well stocked with everything we needed and the perfect place to stay while in Tucson for a softball tournament. The owners were friendly & responsive upon check-in & check-out. The property is close to Park Place Mall and several restaurants. We would recommend this property to others and would stay at this here again if we are ever in the Tucson area.

Amazing stay

Robert and Nancy were amazing hosts! The house was very nice, and the beds were super comfy. This is probably one of the best stocked VRBOs I have stayed in. Our flight got cancelled and I reached out to see if we could have a little extra time for check out, so I could regroup and get new flights. Robert and Nancy were kind enough to give us the time we needed. I am truly grateful for their kindness!

This 3 bedroom home was wonderful. The inside was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything you need for a relaxing getaway was there. The kitchen was great. Everything you need to cook any type meal. The outside was spacious and well equipped for grilling and relaxing as well as playing. I would recommend this for adults and families. Owners were quick to respond all in all a perfect vacation spot.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Quiet neighborhood, clean, well kept home. Robert and Nancy supplied two kinds of coffee, assorted creamers, snacks and complimentary water. The beds were fairly new, there were extra blankets and towels. Robert texted us several times to make sure all was well. Very favorable impression of the Gomez Casita! Would definitely book again!

Great Stay

We had a great four-night stay at the casita. We loved the home from the minute we entered the front door. Having three bedrooms and two baths was perfect for the four of us. Everything was extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the open feel of the living/dining/kitchen area. We enjoyed several fires in the corner fireplace while watching classic movies on TCM. Having a laundry was a plus as this was about halfway through a two-week vacation. The patio area was pleasant for afternoon relaxing. We would definitely return and would highly recommend the casita to others.

Nice place to unwind

Beds were comfortable. The living room furniture is worn but comfy. I didn't realize there was not a dishwasher in the house, but we used paperplates for our cookout. Elderly folks should be careful on the bathroom mats, they slip. The sliding patio door is difficult to open. Overall, a nice place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

We're truly sorry to hear that you didn't have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests -The listing and amenities are correctly advertised. We like to emphasize that there is no dishwasher listed, but we're sorry if this caught you off guard -We sincerely apologize about the bathroom mats and they have been removed. The safety of our guests will always be our highest priority. While we've never experienced safety issues, we're sorry if this was an issue for you and you felt uncomfortable -While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort we're sorry the furniture didn't meet your preferences and guests seem very happy with it. We understand taste in design is subjective so not everyone will be pleased. However, after your stay, there have only been minor changes to the living room furniture to improve the guest's stay. We are in the process of updating the photos to be accurate to reflect the listing -Thanks for bringing this to our attention and we sincerely apologize for the maintenance issues you were having with the sliding glass door. This is not consistent with our expectations, and we will address to fix it after this concern was raised. We have since replaced the sliding glass patio door Thank you for your valuable feedback which we do take to heart. We do everything we can to ensure that all guests have exceptional experiences!

Comfortable stay during monsoon season

We stayed in this comfortable casita for 10 nights during monsoon season. Turns out this home is perfect for watching summer storms from safe and dry locations, both in front and in back (amazing lightning here in the desert). On days when the summer sun was blazing, the air conditioning and fans (ceiling and floor) kept us cool. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was easy to figure out how to get the television to work and the viewing options were extensive. The location also was great -- a quiet neighborhood, but still close to stores and both Mt. Lemmon and Saguaro National Park East. We look forward to staying here again!

Spotlessly Clean!

This house is great because we were able to use the kitchen for cooking all of our meals. And, the place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. It is also in a good location if you plan to hike both sides of Saguaro National Park as we did. The only reasons for not giving it five stars is that we were not given the correct code for entry. That's a minor issue. More importantly, the house reeked of cigarette smoke. We were warned when we called for the correct entry code that they thought someone had burned a fire. But, it was definitely cigarette smoke which seemed to be coming from the furniture. It was so bad that we had to boil citrus and keep the windows open for much of our stay.

We are sorry that you felt the house smelled of cigarettes, especially since there's no smoking in the house at all. We actually felt it was smoke from wood that created it. We checked the furniture, but it was definitely not the furniture and we would think other people would be also mentioning it.
