If you listen very carefully, you may even hear the call of a neighbors peacock in the distance. Roasting marshmallows on the fire is a sure hit for kids and adults alike!

Calumet trail is about 8 miles. Light house Mall outlet shopping, International Friendship Gardens, Winery tours, antique stores, farmer markets, U pick farms, romantic picnics. So much to do in the area.

Notre Dame Stadium is 35 miles. Amtrak stops in New Buffalo 3 miles from the house. The South Shore train stops in Michigan City, about 8 miles from the house. Many restaurants offer discounts. Winters can be a absolute gorgeous, serene winter wonderland. This is really the best time to kick back, relax and take some much needed time for yourself!
