We take the safety of our guests very seriously, which is why we responded immediately when you contacted us and personally came to the property twice to investigate the concern. As soon as you checked out, we had a licensed electrician inspect the dock and electrical systems. The property was professionally evaluated and there was no hazardous electrical condition identified. What was detected was described by the electrician as 5V coming off a stray ground which is common on any dock that has power. The electrician replaced the electrical boxes around the dock outlets with plastic boxes and replaced grounds in the light fixtures to eliminate the possibility of this occurring again. We understand that feeling any unexpected electrical sensation can be concerning, particularly when children and pets are involved. Our priority throughout this situation was, and remains, making sure the property is safe for our guests. We appreciate future guests understanding that the concern was promptly investigated and professionally inspected.
