Live the Florida Life in this Comfortable 5000 sq ft waterfront home
This marvelous waterfront home nestled right on the water with its own private island is calling your name for your next relaxing vacation with your family or friends.

The River House has plenty of space to accommodate up to 16 people comfortably! The updated open floor plan is ideal with separate master wings, both with walk in showers & two-person jacuzzi tubs! You will feel like you are in your own secret oasis with private water access, so bring your boat & dock it off the island or rent one for your stay from our friends at Blue Gator.
If motorized boating is not your thing you can enjoy the 3 kayaks, 3 paddleboards and large canoe plus tubes provided with the property to float down the river. If you need to escape the hot Florida sun, lounge on your covered patio, or relax under a tree in a hammock.

Once you have enjoyed the water & outdoors all-day head inside to cook up a delicious meal in our updated kitchen complete with double ovens, granite countertops, flat stovetop, breakfast bar, traditional coffee maker, and Keurig, crockpot, & more. (Take a look at our full amenities list below for more details!)

Unwind for the night with a nice cocktail in hand while you shoot a game of pool on our NEW POOL TABLE or enjoy the sunken fireplace living space. For further entertainment we have wifi throughout the house 4 flat screen tv’s!

We absolutely loved the house! There was plenty of room for our family. We liked that the water was steps away from the back door. During our trip the water level off the back deck was about waist high. We were able to hang in the water and enjoy each other and the surroundings. My son loved paddle board around the private island. All and all, we had an amazing time.

This property was such a great place to stay with kids! The living area was spacious, with plenty of seating for everyone. There were plenty of bedrooms, clean and newly remodeled bathrooms, a large, well-appointed kitchen and a beautiful view of the river.The outdoor seating was awesome, with numerous seating areas and great view of the river. The Rainbow river did not disappoint. The water is crystal clear and delightfully cool. We saw otters, gators, turtles and numerous water birds. The kayaks and paddleboards provided by the owners were very convenient!The house is perfect for large family gatherings and the owners were very helpful with quick communication and great tips for enjoying the area.

Rainbow River stay

We have stayed at this home for our family reunions 3/4 times. We love the size of this house and the fun little swim area just outside! This house has everything you need for a large group.

Love visiting this area of Florida, and Rainbow River is absolutley beautiful. This property is the perfect place to stay and enjoy your surroundings. This is our 3rd visit to this house and we love it more and more each time we stay. Amber is a wonderful host, very accomodating and responsive. House has everything you need. Family Reunion

We all had a wonderful active vacation . There was so much to do on the river . My four grandchildren enjoyed the rope swing , and fishing on the island , we all enjoyed the paddle boarding , tubing , snorkeling and kayaking . The house was great , with enough room for the ten of us. We will return.

Incredible Vacation

This is our 4th visit to the River House and we absolutely LOVE IT and are already booked for next year! Lots of room for our large family. Something for everyone to do. The location on the river is unbeatable! You will NOT be disappointed. Private and Gorgeous! Amber is very responsive, house is well equipped inside and out. Perfect Piece of Paradise

Perfect location on the river. This was our third stay at the property and have always loved it. Shallow area outside the house is perfect for kids of all ages. We had three families with kids ranging in age from 3-8 and there was more than enough space for everyone. We enjoyed all the water toys available.

Lots of fun!

This house was perfect for our springs getaway. The location could not be better! We spent the entire time enjoying the beautiful river and were very pleased with the kayaks and paddleboards supplied. Our only wish is that we could stay longer!

The Fountain of Youth

The location is beautiful. The house really lets many people enjoy themselves at the same time. The availability of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, tubes, and a rope swing were fantastic and really let us enjoy the water. Also, the way the island gave a beautiful view and some privacy from the river were peaceful and enjoyable! The large round table easily sat 10 people and we even squeezed 16 in for one meal. The lazy Susan was a fan favorite! We loved, loved, loved our stay here.

Perfect location

This house is a lot of fun. Lots of space, right on the water, perfect for a large group of people. There are lots of kayaks and stand-up paddle boards to use. Grill, and pool table. There is a large yard, we were able to play some yard games, and a fire pit. Lots of stores near by for food and drinks. The house was nice and clean. There are plenty of towels. All you need for the kitchen as far as cooking supplies (pots, pans, utensils, etc). If you are not familiar with the area, please do your research, we went to the state part with floats, and they are not allowed. There are lots of rules on the Rainbow River. We brought the kyacks and paddle boards to the beginning of the river and took it all the way to the house, it took 3 hours going with the current. It was an amazing experience and lots of wildlife. I highly recommend this house. We had an amazing time.

Easter Weekend 4 nights

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean. We loved the large table to eat and play games. We thought about all the stores the table could tell about all the friends and family gatherings. We loved using the paddle boards even though we brought our own boat. They were fun to use. One Thing as a suggestion : The cushions on the outside couch and love seat and chair could be replaced.

I purchased this home in 2011 after falling in love with the Rainbow River, the crystal clear spring fed water took my breath away. The land that this home sits on is truly priceless and I am excited for you to experience the wonder of this magical place.

Years ago as a child I visited the Ichetucknee River in northern Florida and I promised myself that one day, if I ever found a place that beautiful again, I would buy it and build my dream home. Thankfully I found it and now I would like to share it with you.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The land this home sits on is truly unique. Almost every home on the Rainbow River is directly on the main flowing river where there is constant tuber traffic and noise. My house is set off the river in a crystal clear lagoon (not Blue Cove) with a private clear large stream that runs through it. Plenty deep for swimming but smaller children love it because they can stand and enjoy in the fun. You can see the tubers floating by and you can reach the river by swimming to it in less than two minutes. You will love the privacy of your own oasis. This home is a must see!
