Enjoy all that Pensacola has to offer from this traditional 1930's NW Florida cottage centrally located in the fantastic neighborhood of East Pensacola Heights only 3.5 miles to Downtown/ Palafox Pier, 4 miles to Pensacola International Airport, 7.7 miles to Pensacola Beach and 8.7 miles to NAS Pensacola. This two bedroom/one bath cottage is for the guest that desires and appreciates a true, 1930's Pensacola cottage which showcases the original heart pine flooring, tongue and groove ceilings and wainscoting, yet through a tedious 2009 renovation, has all the expected modern conveniences such as granite countertops, dishwasher, enhanced fixtures and central heating and air conditioning. Extreme care was taken to preserve original architectural characteristics while enhancing the livability and comfort of the home. The floor plan provides maximum space utilization with an open living to dining room and the fantastic period ā€˜Jack and Jillā€™ bath is conveniently accessible from either bedroom. The ā€œFloridaā€ room off of the kitchen holds the full size washer and dryer as well as storage for beach toys, and other convenience items. Arguably the best part of the home is the inviting front porch swing; day or night, what better way to watch the world pass by! While this home can sleep up to four, it is primarily intended for a couple or small family get-away. The home is located 2.5 blocks from a city park with full playground, baseball fields etc., 4 blocks to an amazing family owned deli/grocery store (Apple Market), 6 blocks to a stretch of U.S Hwy 90 known as "Scenic Highway" that has a multitude of great family owned restaurants. With certainty, and as guest reviews attest, we believe this is the perfect accommodation for those interested in venturing from traditional lodging options while refusing to compromise high standards of safety, cleanliness and comfort. Our guests receive the best value of any place in town. Balance due only 14 days prior to arrival (most others are due at booking or 30 days out) and because we know life can abruptly change the best made plans, we remain extremely flexible to all cancellation requests. We hope you choose this 100% truly owner operated labor of love to be the basecamp in your Pensacola travels while making memories that last a lifetime.

Great Vacation

Perfect Little Cottage

We had such a great time here. The place is wonderful. Such charm and feels like you are at home. The beds could use a little updating. Backyard is perfect. This will be the place my friend and I stay at on our annual trip to Florida.

What A Find!

This charming and cozy cottage is the perfect place to stay in Pensacola. Located in the quiet East Hill neighborhood, it is conveniently located a short distance to all local points of interest. Thereā€™s a wonderful grocery store just a couple of blocks away. The owners, Tim and Evie, have provided just about everything for a very comfortable stay. Communication with them was great. We loved staying there and hope to return.

Superb. Older, very neat cottage in a quiet residential neighborhood. Well equipped for a small family or couple. Many amenities and nearby conveniences. Tim and Evie have done a great job providing for their guests. We will return.

Perfect for a quick weekend!

Lovely Coastal Cottage

Neat little home, perfect for our group of 4. The beds were Very Comfortable. Quiet neighborhood with nice backyard and picnic table. We had everything we needed for our stay. And, as others have stated, you must visit the Apple Market! It's a wonderful little local store with fresh made goodies!

1st Timer

As the title says "1st Timer"... I have never booked through Vrbo before and was a little nervous but Tim and Evie were great with every aspect of the booking process, communication, cleanliness, and checking in/out! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The cottage is so cute and close to everything without having to deal with tons of traffic. When we go back to Pensecola this would be my ideal place to stay again.

Great house

I really enjoyed staying at this house. It's very cute and cozy and the neighborhood is quiet. It is only a short drive to the beach, though there is the $1 toll every time you cross the bridge.

Ein nettes HƤusschen in einer ruhigen Gegend. Zentral gelegen. City von Pensacola in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. 10 Minuten zu Flughafen. Etwas Flugverkehr, aber nicht stƶrend, da die Hauptstart und Landerichtung nƶrdlich liegt. 15 Minuten zu den traumhaften StrƤnden. Neuinstallierte Klimaanlage, die hervorragend funktioniert.

Relaxing, convenient and clean!

This trip is the first to the Pensacola area for our family. We had a wonderful time! The house was conveniently located to everything that we needed and the trip to the beach that we made daily was not too long. We did walk most mornings to The Apple Market and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The house was well equipped and very clean and decorated beautifully. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone as well as the area and Pensacola beach was just beautiful!

Great Location / Quiet Neighborhood

Stayed March 2019. I was on a house hunting trip moving to Pensacola and needed a central located place to stay during my trip. This cottage is so cute, warm and has everything you need. The neighborhood is very quiet, only heard one dog bark in my 9 day stay (unfortunately that was at 2AM). It's a 10 minute trip to the airport and about 15 mins or less to the beach. East Hill in Pensacola is one of the sought after areas in the city. The owners were very quick to respond to all my questions. If I wasn't moving to Pensacola I would stay here again. But will keep in mind for family and friends. The only downside was the beds probably need to be changed soon, if this is a big concern for you. They weren't that bad but if you need a firm mattress you may have some issues. However, the cottage was amazing and I really enjoyed my stay. It sure beat staying at a hotel where people would be coming in/out of your space. And you can go to the Publix and buy your food which is a cost savings.

Lovely retreat

We had a wonderful experience in the rental for the fourth time! The cottage is charming, clean and well appointed. The neighborhood is charming as well. Lots of nearby restaurants and take out places. Close to downtown without the hassle and the beach is a close drive. Highly recommended!

We LOVE the location. East Pensacola Heights is a gem, situated on a peninsula with Escambia bay to the South and East and Bayou Texar to the West. This neighborhood is convenient to the beach, downtown, the mall, airport and has many of it's own restaurants and even an amazing 'old time' grocery store just 4 blocks away. Homes in East Pensacola Heights vary from the early 1900's to new construction happening on vacant lots today! The area has maintained as a clean, safe, working class neighborhood for over 100 years and that truly has something to be said for it.

From this location, you can explore Pensacola and the surrounding area easily and efficiently. There is a locals favorite deli/market (Apple Market) with full service espresso/Coffee bar 3-4 blocks away. Public park with water access (suitable for kayak/ paddle board) 2 blocks away, park with baseball field and children's playground 2 blocks away. Marina and Public boat ramp very close. Many Fantastic restaurant's within 1/2 mile. And of coarse the worlds most beautiful beaches 10-15 min away!!!
