This home offers everything necessary for you to enjoy a long and relaxing visit to Harbor Country. There is one bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed, the remaining 3 bedrooms are upstairs; two with a full bed in each, the last with a full and two twins. You can choose to walk to the Beach at Warren Dunes State Park, just 6 blocks away, or stay at home and enjoy the lovely heated in-ground pool (open May 22nd until October 01st). This cozy cottage is very well equipped and furnished with your comfort in mind. The screened porch offers you a view of the pool and large deck area. Located in Sawyer.

**All Guests required to sign and return our Guest Occupancy Agreement.

**Minimum age of 25 years old to rent.

**Maximum four car parking.

We really enjoyed this property. The kids loved the pool! The walk to the trail and the beach was really nice. If you are light beach packers, you could walk to the beach for the day. Our group drove because many would have complained! Great location - close to New Buffalo, Stevensville & St. Joseph. Had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.

Its all about the pool

We have stayed here once before. The best part of the house is the beautiful swimming pool, and that is all my 4 grandsons want to do, is swim. Unfortunately, the day we arrived, we were told there was a puncture to the pool liner, leaking water, and the pool guy would not be able to fix it for 3 days. But wow, when he was able to come, things happened fast, he fixed it, and we started filling the pool. The next day, firetrucks came to fill the pool even faster with water. The kids got their pool time in every day the rest of the way. Unfortunately, this hiccup happened on our time, but everything humanly possible was done to fix it. The owner refunded us 38% of the daily costs for those 4 days, which was a good gesture.What else was good:1. AC worked great even in 95-degree weather2. Showers were good, beds were good3. The kitchen was good4. The pool deck was a nice place to gather5. Location was great, close to everything, including the Dunes6. Grill worked great7. Backyard space to play yard games8. Plenty of space to park cars9. A great bike path to New Buffalo was easily accessibleAgain, if you want a private pool for family fun that is affordable in a good location, this is the place. The pool problem was just bad luck.

Sweet

Darling well appointed farmhouse with a spectacular heated pool. The longer I was there the more I liked it. It is not fancy, but it is charming, and any concerns we had were immediately responded to. Not crazy about the 5 oā€™clock in and 10 oā€™clock out, it is not Covid any longer, but donā€™t understand why this is still implemented.

Great location

We have stayed at this property before and love the location - close to the beach and other fun things to do, and the pool is great for little ones. Thought that the property seemed not to be as well-maintained in terms of cleanliness this time around, but we still had a good time.

Great location & property - awesome pool!

We had a great vacation at this property. The pool was an awesome benefit during a heat wave! Close to Warren Dunes, and great breweries, restaurants and ice cream places. We had a great trip and would recommend the place to anyone!

Great spot for family vacation

We enjoyed our stay here. We had my parents, my brother, and our family (my husband and three kids, ages 4-9). They loved the pool. And easy access to beach, and short trips into Bentor Harbor and New Buffalo where there ample breweries and wineries to visit!

We enjoyed our stay and made good use of the well stocked kitchen, pool and outdoor seating. The house is vintage in an old school lake house sort of way but comfortable and low key which is nice when you have a bunch of kids who just want to run around the yard and play in the pool. We plan to rent again.

Great weekend get away.

The house was perfect for two families and the kids enjoyed the warm pool even though it was a chilly fall weekend! The late 5pm checkin and early 10am checkout makes a weekend stay feel a bit rushed, but the house and stay itself was great!

The Family Reunion

This house, which used to belong to my grandparents, served as the focal point for a small family reunion. With an added back deck and an in-ground pool (too cold to use) it was obvious the outside was changed greatly! Stories were told and new memories created. Thank you for a nice weekend.

Great trip!

We stayed at Silver Lining in June and had a wonderful time. My husband and I were with our three kids and my parents. There was plenty of space, it was so nice to have a kidsā€™ bedroom with 3 beds. There is one bedroom and one bathroom on the main level, which is great for people who may have trouble with stairs, and three bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. The house has a fenced yard, which is nice especially if youā€™re traveling with kids. The house is near other homes but you feel like itā€™s secluded, there are lots of trees and space in between the homes, you have a ton of privacy. The highlight of the entire trip was definitely the pool. My kids were in the pool every chance they got. There were lots of pool toys and chairs. We really enjoyed the rolling fire pit as well. I was worried about the weather forecast calling for rain but we lucked out and it was dry the entire time. We walked to a little produce market that is super close to the house where we bought some fruit and delicious banana bread, they also have a few souvenirs for sale there- magnets, shot glasses, etc. We loved Warren Dunes Beach, which wasnā€™t crowded at all, it was so nice to spread out and have some space on the beach. We drove about ten minutes to spend a day in New Buffalo, such a cute town! Lots of shops and restaurants and it has such a beach town feel. In New Buffalo we tried Brewsterā€™s restaurant and absolutely loved it, amazing Italian food and great, shady outdoor dining. We ended up going there twice because everyone loved it so much. We had a great trip and loved the area and house- especially the pool!

Great Property

We extremely enjoyed our stay in Sawyer at this property. The house and pool were very clean and well maintained. Great proximity to Warren Sand Dunes, which has a very nice and big beach, and a nice central location to a lot of other things to do and places to eat. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Girls weekend trip. Property was very nice. A few of us thought the house wasn't the cleanest. I thought it was fine. Terrible cell service was the biggest issue.

Perfect for a quick getaway

The house and surrounding property was fantastic. The house is exactly as shown. Very cute, completely worked for our needs. Very clean and was a perfect getaway from the city, particularly during COVID-19. Its about a 15 minute walk to the Warren Dunes and lakefront. We had a great time hiking and walking around without being around anyone else. the front and back yard was great to have with an active six year old. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds and bedding are comfy. Check in was a breeze, check out instructions are clear and to the point. Nothing too tedious. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Silver lining stay

Cute home that was a perfect escape for the kids to swim. Plenty of swim toys available. Beach access was about a 15 min walk, which was a nice surprise! We would stay again.

Nice family getaway

The pool and back deck of this property is really nice! I wish there was a picture of the deck and table in the listing because we spent so much time outside! The upstairs of the home is a bit outdated but comfortable. The WiFi was spotty, so downloading content prior to staying is key and it was a little difficult to work remotely. The management company was quick and responsive when we had an issue with one of the A/C units. Thank you!

Perfect getaway

This was a great spot to visit with the kids. The pool was great and the beach was a short walk or bike ride away. Plenty of space for family to spread out. We had a great week!
