Luxurious Beachfront Condo with Stunning Views

Stunning views and beautiful surroundings will be yours while you enjoy your stay on South Padre Island, Texas' best kept secret. The sand is white and fluffy, the surf is gentle, the open air beach bars serve up great music along with yummy concoctions. I fell in love with the island the first moment I set foot and knew right then I needed a little slice of this paradise to call my own. I searched for about a year to find the perfect spot. I chose the unit I did because it has one of the best views on the island. Part of this is due to the fact that it is one of the older buildings on the island and consequently is set closer to the Gulf than properties built more recently. When I purchased in 2013, I renovated the condo completely. Even I was amazed at the total transformation of my beachfront condo. Everything has been redone, from the smooth walls and ceilings, to the 24" faux travertine porcelain floor tiles.
The kitchen features custom espresso wood cabinetry, eco friendly vetrazzo counter tops & glass tile backsplash, new stainless steel appliances and it's fully stocked with every needed kitchen utensil: blender, basket type coffeepot, etc.
The bathroom has a luxurious oversized shower with bench seat, toiletry shelf & frameless shower door. Featuring a whimsical design with bubble tile shower flooring, mosaic tiles, blue martini glass lights, lots of counterspace and a vessel sink.
The bedroom features a queen bed & twin bunk beds with stairs, not a ladder. Yes, the kids can have their own beds! :) A full sized chest of drawers and large nightstand complete the ensemble.
Relax in the living area with a flat screen tv, dvd player, ipod docking station and a pull out queen sized sleeper sofa. The chairs are comfy too. I have also left a few games on the end tables & a couple books to enjoy while you're here, or surf the net with complimentary WiFi.
Most lights in the condo are on dimmers so you can create a soothing ambiance. Your unit is also stocked with plenty of bath towels and beach towels.
La Internacional has an onsite heated pool and spa with plenty of padded recliners and succulent tropical vegetation, an elevator, laundry facilities and beach access.
There are numerous things to do on the island: go see the sea turtles, take a dolphin cruise, climb the lighthouse, take yoga, get a massage, windsurf, surf, scuba dive, take a sand castle lesson, go see a band, play mini golf, go to Schlitterbahn, bungee jump, take a jewelry making lesson at Art Sea, the list just goes on and on. Rent a beach chair during the summer months or bring your own to enjoy the beach. The sand is great. So great, in fact, that South Padre Island hosts a sand castle competition every year that brings in professional artists from around the globe. The surf is small & the water at the shore shallow enough to allow the children to play in the water while you relax on the beach with a book and a drink. Yes!
