The place was incredible. We were able to walk everywhere. It was right off the famous sidewalk. All amenities, well kept. Beach towels included. 6 USD 5 gallon jug of water available for purchase. Comfortable beds; secure. Grocery store within a block. Excellent breakfast post Beaches & Cream and Beach Area at the Bohemian Placencia for 5/per person. Very fun Time!!! Thank you!

Wonderful Stay in Placencia

We had a fantastic stay at this amazing apartment! The location was excellent - walking distance to all that the village of Placencia has to offer and super close to the northern end of the sidewalk. The apartment is modern and clean, the patio is spacious. Cindy at the front desk was so helpful and kind. Our family had a great stay. We cannot recommend this place enough!

Good Location

Rental was very nice. On-site manager was excellent. The one negative is that the unit we rented was directly behind another very large house (which was about 5 feet from our rental and balcony.) The photos taken from the balcony were not a good representation of what you would be seeing from the balcony and with windows from other house looking directly on our rental, privacy felt compromised. Compromised.

Great location, but NO Sea View

The location of the apartment was excellent. Right off the Placencia sidewalk, within walking distance to all the bars, restaurants, and the sea. Note that the photo of the palm tree and sea looking out the sliding glass door is FAKE. There is NO sea view from any of the apartments in this complex. The view out of the sliding glass door is a house maybe 20 feet away. It was a big disappointment since we expected a sea view. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at this apartment.

Disappointing experience

Very disappointed that we were unable to stay at the property. We booked last year but new management “couldn’t see “ our booking and filled it with other guests. We found out when we were an hour away . Manager did find us a hotel for the night and paid for it, though because of the late date we had to pay a lot more money for last minute accommodations.

Bait and switch

I booked a 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment on June 15th for a December 31st arrival. I received confirmation on the booking. I sent one more message to the manager of the booking and did not receive a reply. About 2 weeks prior to our vacation, I sent a message asking about transportation from Placencia Airport to the location, which they kindly set up for us but he made no mention of the fact he did not have the 3 bedroom/2 bath. We arrived at the complex and checked in. When we got to our apartment it was a 1 bedroom/1 bath with a pack and play. I have a teenager, not a baby, and was never asked it these accommodations would be acceptable. I was told that they had tried to give us the accommodations that we had booked, but it wasn't available and that I could stay in the 1 bedroom or they would refund my money. I was not able to find what we were looking for until the next day, so we stayed one night and were refunded all but one night of our trip even though it was not the apartment that we booked. The 1 bedroom had one set of towels and no sheets for the pull out bed. The cabinet doors were falling off in the bathroom. All I can say was the bed was comfortable. So to sum this up, the manager knew he did not have the accommodations that we booked all along. They baited us there thinking we would just stay because we were stuck and had no where else to go. I would never recommend this place and I recommend if you have a reservation, cancel it and run away as fast as you can.

Great week in Placencia

My family consisted of my parents, my adult children, my husband and I. We stayed at the KhalKob Estate 3 bedroom apartment. It met our needs for the week. The moment we walked into the apartment you can see and smell the cleanliness of the unit. That by far exceeded my expectations. That’s the most important factor when renting for me. The air conditioning units helped keep the entire apartment cool. The beds are firm but comfortable. Location was great, near several grocery stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this rental.

Perfect

The pics don’t do this justice. Spacious and great location. Staff were fantastic about helping to arrange sightseeing and taxi to airport. I would rate this property higher if I could.

Very Happy

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The suite is very clean and within close distance to everything Placencia has to offer. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was excellent! Very large and adequate space. The management and staff were excellent

I would highly recommend this property. It is very close to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. It is big and comfortable. Safety felt good. The staff were on top of things and they communicated very quickly and were eager to help with planning days activities or excursions. All in all, wonderful experience!
