Spacious Villa on the Beach in Quiet North Placencia Village

Large, beachfront villa located in Placencia Village. No need for a car or golf cart, you can access everything you need by foot using the Placencia Sidewalk that begins less than 200 yards from the villa's front door. The 4 bedrooms, complete with en-suite bathrooms, comfortably sleep up to 10 guests, while the two kitchens and living areas provide ample space for all your guests. Up to 4 additional guests can sleep on the two sofa beds for a total occupancy of 14. Included with the villa is a large, covered terrace complete with a private pool and beach access.
Enjoy FREE access to Placencia Beach Club next door for lunch or to grab drinks from one of the two bars. Don't worry about bringing your cash or credit card with you, the Beach Club will carry a tab throughout your stay. Just settle up before you check out.
Booking with Casa Del Sol also includes free transfers to / from the Placencia airport as well as access to a local concierge to help you plan your time here in Placencia.
Note: All of the living spaces are on the 2nd floor accessible by stairs only.

Host was very responsive and had good suggestions. We had several issues with a dishwasher and he was quick to address this. The location was perfect and the beach was good. Close to a cute local coffee shop and next door to the beach club and their bar.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Sol. So nice to have our own pool, be right on the beach and have so much living space available - both in the sun and covered area. Shane, our host, was always available and if we needed anything, he was there to help. The proximity to town was also ideal, a very easy walk.

The view was pretty. The room was clean but dead roach on the verandah. They came to the house before we checked out around 10:20 and took our icebox. They said the speaker was missing which we never touched or used. When we checked out my husband and I asked the caretaker if everything was ok. He said yes. Everythint was fine. After i cimplained about them going into our house and taking our icebox before we checked out they came back and sais the speaker was missing. None of the televisions worked, 2 toilets stopped up. They said house could accommodate 14. The most stayed for one night was 8.

A week at Casa Del Sol in Placencia

7 of us stayed at Casa Del Sol for a week over spring break. We opted to take the shuttle from Berlize City to Placencia - the driver, Edgar, was very helpful and informative. Check in was quick and easy. The location looks just like the pictures and the location worked well since you have access to the Placencia Beach Club next door. The beach club pool bar, just a short walk from the pool or lowerdeck made it easy to enjoy a drink or get food. Shane, host, arranged fishing, zip lining, fiver tubing, Jaguar preserve, and snorkeing adventures for us and they were as described and enjoyable. The guides were helpful, friendly, and accomodating, We had a 5 and 7 year old in our group and the guides were very helpful with them and made sure they were safe. We rented the 8 person golf cart and the location made trips to the grocery or restaraunts easy.The only thing that we weren't expecting was that Casa Del Sol was listed for sale by the owner. This includes a sign with brochures between the pool and the beach. People were regularly stopping to take and read the brochures and one couple even walked up onto the lower deck by the pool. We were using the lower deck and the pool and asked them if we could help them, they said they wanted to look around, we said we had the villa rented. They said we would not bother them, we said they would bother us and that we would be there until Saturday. They seemed perturbed that they couldn't look around.

Casa Del Sol … perfect large family vacation home

We had a fabulous trip. Shane and his crew were great and available to us for all our needs and questions. The house was perfect for our group of 10. The private pool was enjoyed by all as well as the next door beach club. We booked 4 different tours, all of them arranged by Shane and his team. Our shuttles arrived on time And our guides were great!We loved Placencia and Casa Del Sol was the perfect choice for our Family vacation. Thank you Shane and crew!!!

Family Getaway

Our group of 8 had a wonderful time at Casa del Sol. The home is in an excellent location with great views and is located next to the Placencia Beach Club, which was a bonus. It was great to have a private pool at the home and use of the kayaks/paddleboard to go exploring. The host kept in communication with us leading up to our stay and while we were there. Thank you for a great stay in Placencia!

Great vacation rentsl

Had a great stay at this beautiful home in Placencia. Spacious clean and Shane was very responsive. Only negatives of the trip was the weather which was beyond anyone's control highly recommended!

Great large property that 8 of us only dented the space provided, inside & out. Large splash pool with deep end. Beach is large and regularly maintained. Kayaks provided a huge plus. Small resort and awesome coffee, ice cream adjacent

Casa Del Sol had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our family vacation

Our family with 6 adults and 2 children had a wonderful time at this beachfront home in Placencia. The home and pool was very relaxing and clean. Being next to the Placencia Beach Club was a huge bonus. Check out the beach club sooner rather than later. You'll be glad you did.

The pictures of the house are very accurate. Shane was outstanding and proactive in his communications concerning the property and our stay - really couldn't have been better. The pool and space underneath the house is fabulous. Would stay there again without a doubt.

Home Away From Home

I did something for this trip that I NEVER do, and I basically didn't plan anything for my family to do. I wanted to force us to relax, instead of feeling like we constantly had something we had to do. That meant we spent almost all of our time at the house - and we were not upset about this at all! Spending basically five days in the awesome pool or on the beach was really great. This house is wonderful, and if we'd had more people travelling with us I think we would have gotten a lot more use out of the under-house area with hammocks, comfy seating, and dining tables. We found ourselves at chillpoint, a 2-minute walk from the front door, multiple times a day. And having the beach club next door for lunch every day was really great! Basically, this location was perfect, we appreciated the security people doing walkarounds at all times of the night, the house was perfect, and the beach out front was great to relax in. This really was a fantastic booking!

Great house, Shane the host was great, responds, anything you need he takes care of, beach, pool and location to the beach club makes it quite convenient, close to all restaurant's, stores, fruit and vegetable stands, nightlife , needs some minor infrastructure repairs, lights, shower heads, dishwashers but AC in every room works awesome. I would stay again if in the area

Fantastic experience in Placencia

My extended family of 13 just spent a week at Casa del Sol celebrating my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. We looked at a number of places in the area and we are so glad that we ended up here. The house itself is great/ as advertised, but the proximity to town is phenomenal. We parked our cars for the week and walked on an incredibly convenient and safe sidewalk to grab food, massages, supplies, etc. communication with Shane was seamless - he was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!!

Family summer fun

We bought all 5 kids with their spouses. We did three excursions there with captain Jack's, that's who we would suggest going through they were the cheapest and because we booked all three through them, they threw in a four seater golf cart all week for free! They were great

WONDERFUL

Everything about our stay in Placencia was wonderful. This house is amazing. It is exactly as pictured although the pictures cannot do it justice. The beds are comfortable, the bed linens white and soft, and the house is pristine. The pool is steps from the beach club and from 11-5 every day the club is at your disposal and those who work there are just plain fantastic. The pool is infinity and as you lean against it’s wall you look out at the Caribbean Sea—with a rum drink in your hand you might start to wonder how you ever live when you’re not here. Shane was so incredibly helpful in setting up our tours, accommodating our needs and letting us just have fun. We chose snorkeling and touring the Mayan ruins and spending a LOT of time in our pool and on the beach and all of it was truly almost unbelievable. The three king beds and the queen accommodated our needs perfectly (each room has its own bath) but there was also a set of bunk beds and a sleeper sofa. If you want to experience Belize and see how people here live—book Casa del Sol and get ready for a wonderful trip!!!!

There is no other place...

Eight family members in a four bedroom, four bath house with a pool, a beach and the ocean. What could possibly go wrong? Well, actually, nothing. What could possibly be better? For starters, on top of a great house and a great location, there are things like the sidewalk into town being so close, the Chillpoint with its coffee for the morning, ice cream for the evening and wine for all hours, and the proximity to the Placencia Beach Club and its magnificent poolside bar. As if that were not enough, there is Shane, who makes everything happen and smiles through everything no matter what, as well as his staff, who are at all times both unobtrusive and incredibly helpful. Seriously, this experience was amazing. From the few excursions to the multiple meals prepared by a chef, no matter what we hoped the experience would be, this exceeded it and then some. Maybe the best part was spending hours at the private pool with our family, just enjoying one another and the time together. Cannot recommend this house and this experience strongly enough.

Great house, great location

This was a great house. Everything was as pictured and described. Shane was very proactive, emailing us before our stay to give us helpful suggestions and provided us a overview of the town and what we could expect. Shane pick up groceries for us so we'd have something at the house when we arrived. It was especially appreciated as our flight was delayed and we arrived late. On the night we arrived, Shane was available to check us in and gave us a dinner recommendation-which was very helpful and appreciated. We had plenty of space, loved hanging out at the pool and having drinks beach club. The location was great - not too far from anything (most places were within walking distance), but not so close you felt like you were on top of people. We rented a golf cart from Shane and drove it around town, when we didn't want to walk. On our last day, Shane once again gave us a recommendation on where to have lunch in Belize City. If you dive, the diving in Placencia is great - but note, the dive sights are 30 minutes to 1 hour away. We had wonderful meals every night. Highly recommend Omar's and Wendy's and if you like rum, visit the rum bar by the The Shak restaurant (in town by the water).

Great place to stay!

We visit Placencia regularly, always staying at different rentals. This time we had 4 friends coming with us. Casa del sol was perfect for a couples stay! The home is beautiful, great A/C, great location next to the beach club and steps away from the sidewalk entrance. The staff was great and very responsive to our needs. Would recommend this place completely! We are even considering it for our family vacation in 2024 - there are 14 of us!

Far enough from the village for privacy and peace-and-quiet, but close enough to walk or take a short golf cart ride.
