Waterfront property with rare open water views! Relax by the pool, eat your meals al fresco, and watch the sunset from this lovely home with open water views of Boca Ciega Bay. This is Florida living at its finest. Surround yourself with lush native Florida plants and enjoy the view. You may see dolphins, manatees, pelicans and much more from your back deck. This is also a wonderful spot for bird enthusiasts. The species we have seen from the back deck include: osprey, great horned owl, cormorant, roseate spoonbill, screech owl, ibis, blue heron, snowy heron, egrets, cranes, and the magnificent frigate bird.

The back yard is directly on the Bay. There is a unique tiled pool, a lush open air outdoor shower with topical plants to add privacy, a shaded pergola to get out from the sun and a large open patio. The front yard is very large with a winding stone driveway, over 30 palm trees and beautiful flowering native plants.

Inside, wake up every morning to a water view from the large master bedroom suite with luxurious king bed. The newly renovated master bathroom has a large soaking tub, dual sinks and relaxing large rainfall shower. The second bedroom is a light and airy queen bed suite and the third bedroom has 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds total) - perfect for kids.
This home feels modern and tropical with original art in all the rooms and a bright and clean motif. The large open plan kitchen/living room has views of the water. The living room has plenty of seating and a large smart tv. Kitchen has a large island with dining and tons of storage. There is also a "Florida room" looking towards the Bay for indoor dining.

Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood within walking distance of a large park with bicycle/walking paths around a lake, playground, tennis courts, and swimming pool. A 10-minute drive to several area beaches.

Stand Up Paddle Board, kayaks, and beach chairs/toys/umbrellas available for your use.

This was a beautiful property and we will definitely book again. The only drawback was that early Friday morning during her stay the pool man arrived unannounced which somewhat startled us.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners were very helpful when i called with a question. The place was very clean. The view was a gorgeous. We would go back and stay again the next time we go to florida.

Great ambience and plenty of room

The property was incredible! It's centrally located to great restaurants and incredible beaches. The size of the house and beautiful pool allowed versatility during our stay. The owners were very quick to resolve any issues that arose and were proactive in making things right.

What an amazing house! We have been coming to this area for 10+yrs and this is the BEST place we have stayed. Nice neighborhood, great location, beautiful & spacious house, pool was wonderful! We will definitely rent again next year!!

Week with friends and family

We had a great time at this property. The neighborhood was quaint and quite. The waterfront view was breathtaking and the pool was a nice added bonus. The owner was very responsive when we had a heating issue with the pool. I would recommend and would stay again.

The property was perfect for a family gathering. The view with dolphin, osprey and manatees thrilled us all. The pool was heated and delightful. Best vacation imaginable. Morgan the property manager was available and helpful.

Amazing sunsets

Our recent visit was the second time we stayed in this home. It has a great location in a quiet neighborhood. The waterfront view is spectacular. The hosts are very responsive and easy to contact. This home is comfortable with wonderful outdoor space.

The pool and view are what makes the property

The place had everything we needed. It’s in need of some new furniture in the living room and window repair in the master bedroom. The driveway needs some lighting as the main light was not operational. The pool area is in need of table umbrellas very hot in the afternoon and no shade. We loved seeing the manitees and dolphins right off the dock. It’s close to many restrictions and shopping.

Great view but needs work

This house would have been good if it didn’t smell so bad. Very strong odor of mold and mildew. We had the doors open when we could to get some fresh air. Also we had to cover the dirty couches with sheets before we could sit on them. Beds were not comfortable. Need to be replaced along with the couches. The location, the view and size of the house were all amazing! Outdoor space was awesome!! This property could be perfect if those issues were fixed.

Beautiful Sunrise/Sunsets on the bay

My family really enjoyed the location of this property. It is very close to the beach but we really enjoyed hanging out by the pool, watching the sun light up the buildings across the bay in the morning and the beautiful sunsets at night. At low tide there are always a variety of birds just off the back deck looking for food. We had fun using the provided kayaks to paddle around the bay (my favorite part). We also enjoyed opening up the french doors during the day to breath in the fresh air. The owners are super friendly and responsive. Because we stayed over Christmas, I choose to not bother them about the one item which needed attention which is that the kitchen cabinets need a deep spring cleaning. I let them know the day we were leaving so the could tell their cleaning staff to focus on that area. Assuming that has been addressed, I would give them 5 stars.

Family vacation

The house was spacious, the decor was very eclectic an the overall house could use an update. It didn’t appear the home was being taken care of as there is mold on the ceiling vents, which could be a health concern. The furniture an decor is a thrift store look. The pool was not cleaned the day we arrived an no one came the week we were there. The oven is very small an would not hold a sheet pan or multiple dishes. The positives were the beds were comfortable, the kitchen works for a large group, they had pool toys, a kayak an beach chairs an the beaches are nearby. Your paying for the bay water views. If a water view isn’t a priority I’d look for another house. I was very disappointed that the charge per night is significantly higher than advertised with many unnamed additional fees. Example $550 additional charges but there’s no explanation what it’s for. I paid more than $1,000 than the advertised price. No fees are refundable. Overall disappointed.

All of the fees mentioned are charged by VRBO - they have their own booking fees, management fee, and they collect state and federal taxes. Owners have no control over these fees and they are the same for every house. The only fee we charged was a pet fee - this renter wanted to bring a pet and we collect this fee because we do extra deep cleaning after someone stays with a pet. I explained that there was a pet fee when this renter booked but she thought it was a refundable deposit.

Our stay was absolutely lovely. The house is updated with modern finishes and the view is simply stunning. The bed and linens are comfy. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked. Everything was spotless and plenty of toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, dish soap, air freshener were provided. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. One of our favorite pastimes was just hanging in the spacious pool and looking out at the bay, where the sunsets are beautiful. If you do want to venture out, the house is conveniently located to many attractions, beaches, restaurants, and shopping. This truly is a bird lovers paradise. Each evening two Great Horned Owls stop by for a visit & one even landed about 15 ft away from us on one of the old dock posts. It was truly the highlight of the trip! We also saw Little Blue Heron, Great Blue Heron, Osprey, Brown Pelicans, Snowy Egret (who one morning decided to hang out at the pool), Great Egret, and Anhinga. Oh, and there's a dolphin who occasionally swam right by the deck on a few occasions. I truly did not want to leave this place!

Couldn't be Happier :)

This is a wonderful classy home with lots of personal touches throughout. The outdoor space is amazing with a pool and quality patio furniture for enjoying the sunsets. The indoor space is great too with a huge kitchen, DR and LR. It was very comfortable for my family of five adults. It's truly a gem of a location being on the water in an upscale neighborhood close to stores and restaurants, and a quick drive to the beaches and downtown St Pete. Host was terrific and caring with great communication!

The house met expctations

Overall, we were pleased. The house is in reasonable condition; same for the pool. The bay view was the best. Houses on both sides were in bad need of dock repairs. While it's not your owner's fault, It's still detracting from the overall experience. Lastly, Florida drivers rank right down there with Houston drivers: reckeless and rude.One visit was enough.

Amazing home, perfect location.

We absolutely loved our week at Jungle Terrace! The home was amazing, we especially enjoyed the backyard, pool and views over the Inter-Coastal. The location is just across the causeway from the beach and great restaurants, although, we found ourselves taking advantage of the home’s amenities most. Morgan was very responsive with any questions we had but we really didn’t need much due to the listing being very accurate We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a beach getaway and will likely be back ourselves as we visit the Tampa area regularly.

Great Family House

This house was super spacious and perfect for our family. Plenty of room to let the little ones spread out while the older one was swimming. Pool is so nice and overlooks the bay. The owner was super responsive to any questions we had. We would def stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking to relax and enjoy some quality time with the family.
