Studio Cottage On One Of The Top Ranked Steelhead Holes On The Upper Rogue

Come and enjoy this studio cottage on one of the top ranked steelhead holes on the Upper Rogue. Excellent Fishing just steps from your door! Also makes a great romantic get-a-way or a fun place to stay while you raft the Rogue, enjoy the many wineries in the area, or visit Crater Lake. Cottage sleeps 2-4.

Located an hour drive from Crater Lake, 45 minutes from Ashland, 40 minutes from Jacksonville and about 15 minutes from Table Rock Trails.

Kitchenette and Bath, Gas Fireplace, Flat Screen TV, Internet, Outdoor Sitting Area with private yard. Full bed in living area and full bed in sleeping loft. Wood floors and granite countertops.

Table and chairs, microwave, mini fridge, stove and oven, dishes and cookware furnished as well as coffee pot, toaster, kitchen utensils and linens furnished. You will also find a nice selection of gourmet coffees and teas along with creamer in the cupboard above the coffee pot. Flour, cornmeal and spices are provided for your cooking needs.

You will find robes hanging in the closet for your use.

Sliding glass doors lead to the river front, small patio deck with table and chairs and grassy area. Gas BBQ for outdoor cooking. There is also a Fish Cleaning Station and Outdoor Shower.

Deer, Geese and Eagles are frequent visitors.

This studio cottage was very clean and nicely maintained. It was tiny, I think it would be tight for 4 people, but the river view from the patio was delightful! We enjoyed our evenings sitting on the chairs watching the river go by.

Beautiful Location and terrific hosts

The cottage is very clean, comfortable. It sits right next to the river with a beautiful patio and outdoor furniture to relax and enjoy the sun or shade! Had a great time!

Beautiful place

Lovely cabin in a great location. Fully stocked with all the essentials made for a great and easy overnight stay. Wish we could have spent more time enjoying the river and outdoor areas would definitely stay again!

The description is spot on. It is literally just yards from the river. The cabin is perfectly suited for trips to Ashland for Oregon Shakespeare and Crater Lake NP. The owners are kind, gracious, and very accessible. There were lots of great parts, but the patio table and chairs by the river and the fun outdoor shower were awesome. I was hesitant at first about the shower, but after hiking 10m at the NP, it just felt so, so relaxing.

Perfect Getaway

This is truly a 5 star property. It is such a cute and cozy little spot, and being right on the river is so spectacular. We stayed with our family (with young kids), but would recommend this more for a romantic getaway. We would love to visit again!

Lovely Little Cottage

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully decorated and tidy cottage. The grounds are well maintained. The river is steps from the cottage. Another plus: Crater Lake is close by too!

River Front Oasis

I absolutely loved staying at the little cottage by the river! It was adorable and had all the comforts of home. Even though it is close to the main house, it is very private. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Gorgeous riverside setting

We thoroughly enjoyed the adorable cottage and chairs to relax alongside the river. Lana and Lani were wonderful hosts and chatted with my son extensively to help him set up for a day of fishing. The cottage kitchen is well stocked and the location is convenient for exploring the Upper Rogue.

Coziest cottage ever

My husband and I stayed in Lana’s cottage for two nights while we visited Crater Lake and the surrounding area. It’s the coziest cottage ever and we really enjoyed ourselves. Very comfortable and homey. We also appreciated the book with local info, menus and brochures. Did have a little trouble with the television reception, but watched movies on the DVD player instead. I really enjoyed the view of the river behind the cottage. Excellent location for exploring rivers, waterfalls and forests close by.

Perfect stay on the river

The cottage itself is cozy and welcoming with a nice little view of the river. Wildlife in the area including turkeys and deer can be seen frequently enjoying the property. Our time was short but the welcoming people of shady cove made it feel like home. The property owners themselves are happy and greeted us with a cheerful smile. We recommend any and all to stay.

Small cabin right on the river but perfect for 2 adults and 1 child. Delightful, responsive hosts. Water level on the river was high and too rapid for a 10 year old to fish safely but Lonnie hooked us up with a pole and directions to a nearby lake where our grandson caught a fish on his second cast! They have an outdoor shower that was divine!! We arrived a little earlier than expected but with a quick message to the hosts we were allowed to checkin 90 minutes early. Ample snacks and coffee for our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Total relaxation

Of all the VRBOs we’ve stayed in this has to be one of our favorite. It’s perfect for a couple wanting to unwind. The sound of the river rushing by and all of the attention to detail makes this a perfect place. The hosts are the nicest people you could ever meet. You want peaceful? This is your place!

Our time spent here was perfect. The idyllic setting was amazing on our Iregon road trip.

Everything about this cottage lived up to our expectations. We could not have asked for friendlier and more welcoming host. We selected the location based on proximity to Crater Lake. The area around Shady Cove had its own places to explore as well. Starting the day with coffee and ending it with a glass of wine while sitting by the river was a treat. The outdoor shower was fabulous and we are hoping to duplicate it at our lake house in North Carolina.

Perfect river cabin

We had 4 total, 2 teenage boys (19 and 16), they had no problem sleeping in the loft bed, actually enjoyed it. Thise was a great location to visit Crater Lake NP. The Rogue River right outside the door made for perfect evening and morning meals. We ordered take out and ate out on the patio with the river running by in the background, perfect natures TV. The hosts were great and let us use some fishing gear, very helpful and wonderful generous with their time and things to do! Thank you!

Amazing hosts

I had the most incredible stay at Lonny and Lana's home! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location right on the river. The house was not only beautiful but also equipped with all the amenities I could have asked for. One of the highlights of my stay was the outdoor shower - it was truly amazing! Lonny and Lana were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of perfect. I highly recommend staying at their place and soaking in the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. Thank you, Lonny and Lana, for providing such a fantasticxperience. I can't wait to come back!

Great place with the best hosts!

We and our kids (8 and 10) stayed for 3 nights while checking out Crater Lake and the area. The cottage is great, it was awesome to spend time right on the river. Our girls loved the novelty of sleeping up in the loft. It is perfect for a couple and a works for a small family, but it felt plenty big because we spent the time that we were there outside. Our kids could mess around on the edge of the river while we lounged around. You MUST try the outdoor shower, we all want to build one at our house that is just like the cottage! Lana and Lonny are the nicest hosts, they were great to chat with. Their house is right next door but the cottage feels plenty private with the bushes and landscaping between them. Our daughter forgot a souvenir at the cottage and we texted Lana and she found it and mailed it to us, she is so nice!

Everything was as described, even better! The check in process was easy. Lana and Lonny are great hosts with a lot of great information on the area. The Rogue River is beautiful and right out the slinding glass door. We will come again!!

Look no further….

Stop looking and book now!! I guarantee you won’t find anything like this wonderful gem. This amazing cottage sits directly on the river. The hosts are extremely gracious & kind. Lonnie went over and beyond helping my husband with fishing tips & tricks. Lana pays attention to every detail. The cottage is extremely clean, inviting, comfortable and built with love. Hands-down one of my favorite properties & hosts. I can not wait to go back.
