Lovely apartment!

We enjoyed our stay in Suzanne's guest house. The property is clean, extremely well-appointed, and exactly as advertised. The views are also beautiful. Highly recommend for visitors to Shady Cove!

Comfortable accommodations

We rented the main house and the apartment for a family gathering. Very comfortable apartment for two people. Fold out bed would accommodate one person...maybe.

What a gem! One of the nicest places with everything one might need. The views, the vibe, all quite perfect. 👌 Wonderful host(s) and very peaceful all around. Don't hesitate on this one. I miss it already.

Posh getaway.

This is a very nicely appointed, comfortable guest home. We felt like no stone was unturned in putting this together. We really enjoyed our 3day stay at this posh getaway. So much scenic adventure to enjoy in the area. Suzanne is the consummate host, easy to reach, enjoyable to talk to and full of great suggestions. She was one of the highlights of staying here!

Beautiful Property and View

This place had exactly what I needed I visited with my niece and it had everything we needed. Kitchen and the view off the patio with coffee was the best. Also had a cute map of Shady Cove and this was my first visit. Can't wait to go again and I will definitely book this again. The host is an artist with attention to detail and charm and it shows throughout the property. Highly recommend.

Bella Chalet - Shady Cove's Hidden Gem!

Love the guest suite at Bella Chalet! It's a hidden gem in Shady Cove. My boyfriend and I love to cook and this kitchen is well stocked - pans, skillets, utensils, etc. You don't always find that in a rental property. This guest suite is perfect for two people. Suzanne was helpful and provided information for our stay. Thank you for sharing your gem with us!

Most of all we enjoyed the view from the deck, watching deer and other wildlife. But inside was lovely and comfortable as well. We had most everything we needed. The host is gracious and accommodating. There were nice extras like a soaking tub and a towel warmer. The location is excellent for exploring the Rogue Valley. Would definitely stay there again.

Extremely accommodating

Really beautiful place to stay, gorgeous area. Property owner was so accommodating in working with us. We were in a time crunch as a listing we had tried to stay at ended up being a fraud listing. VRBO worked with us, but we needed accommodation quickly and Suzanne was great to help us.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

This property is my own design and vision. I had it built from the ground up, using local builders and providers. I loved the mountain views and proximity to the Rogue River, plus the quiet and small town feeling of Shady Cove. My house turned out exactly as I wished, and I have every amenity. I built the apartment because my grandmother had one similar to it while I was growing up in CT. I lived there with my mother while my father was in N Africa during WWII.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The apartment does not connect internally to the Main House, so there is total privacy. The entrance is a custom built stairway on the side of the garage. The panoramic views are stunning. There is both a huge shower and a soaking tub, plus a washer/dryer, full Stainless Steel kitchen with microwave, custom kitchen cabinets, and a charming balcony.
The exterior of the house will be professionally lit and there will be an 8 foot Christmas tree inside the house during December!
