Wonderful house and a great location

We had an absolutely great time. The house was very clean and the property manager was attentive and responsive to the few questions we had. The views were incredible, and we were very comfortable in the house.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our time in this house with a big family group. Having a tennis court and basketball court was great for the kids and we enjoyed being able to walk to beach etc! So much fun!

A comfortable and beautiful place for a family get together.

We loved the house. The connection between the large sitting area in the house, the patio and the pool was a wonderful setting for our family get together. Staff and communication was first rate and supportive.

A quiet and tranquil getaway

We had such a great time for the weekend and wish we could have stayed longer. Such an amazing property with great views in a quiet gated community. Gus was an amazing property manager. He was incredibly helpful and always responsive. Highly recommend this property and can't wait to come back.

Beautiful home in beautiful area

This home was a dream. Exactly as pictured. The views are spectacular. The concierge, the housekeeper and the whole Zindis group was always available. Great communication. House is spacious and clean in a very nice and safe area. Lots of restaurants and beaches to explore. Closest beach is just a 10 minutes walk down the hill. Can’t wait to come back!

Lovely stay in Playa Hermosa

Playa Hermosa is a lovely little town with a nice beach. House is clean and spacious. In a quiet, gated, residential area. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Housekeeper Allie very helpfull. Great layout for us, we were travelling with young children so having pool and living area close to each other made watching them much easier. Disappointed that we had to pay $50 to rent a crib for two weeks in what is a advertised as a family house. My only negative was the lack of oven in main house and no kettle or toaster.

I didn't want to leave

We were very pleased with the rental. I have rented in the US many times from New Jersey to Maui and this rental exceeded my expectations. I'm always a bit nervous when you see a picture but the house was well situated, clean , spacious well appointed (add your own adjectives). The views were incredible and the home was easily accessible from the airport. There was plenty to do in the area, great restaurants and we all felt very safe and secure. The tour company TICO tours hooked us up with a lot of excellent activities and Gus was responsive to the small needs that we had. You can't go wrong with this rental

Review of our stay

Hello, we loved every minute of our trip and enjoyed our stay! The only thing we would have a recommendation for is a bit more clarity on the housekeeper and if it is truly included in the price we paid or if it was extra. We still are not positive on that. I also think she did a great job, but the amount of time she was there was more than we needed her for. I think 1-2 hours every couple of days was more than enough for what we needed her for. Again she was great and did everything we asked and had great tips and suggestions for our stay, we loved her! Overall, it was an amazing trip and we can't wait to come back!

Great space for family

The property manager and concierge were very responsive and helpful in every aspect of our stay. They assisted with car rentals, airport transfers, excursions, grocery delivery, restaurant recommendations. They also arranged a private chef to prepare sushi one night which was delicious and beautifully presented. The house layout was great for our family gathering. The pool and outdoor space were wonderful. The gated neighborhood appeared safe. One drawback was the accessibility to the nearest beach. You could not easily walk to the beach and certainly not with small children. There was also a house being built in close proximity to the house which did not interfere with our stay, but did appear to infringe on the privacy of this property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Three Day Getaway

The kids had a couple days off from school, so we decided to take a quick trip to CR from Thursday to Sunday. The house was exactly as described, with a kitchen that was better appointed than we expected. The house was clean, bright and it was easy to regulate the temperature (it was 93 degrees with 100 percent humidity during our stay). We didn't rent a car, but the beach and some mini-markets are within easy walking distance. The main grocery store requires a drive, which we were able to do using Uber. Allie, the housekeeper, cook, extraordinaire was fabulous. She was friendly, but not obtrusive in any way. She takes good care of the place. Overall, the stay was fantastic and I would recommend. We will likely be back.

Just what we needed

Large gathering area were perfect for comfortably lounging, games, meals, and conversations. We had a catered dinner for 20 people one night and there was ample space. The bedrooms are located away from the main areas (upstairs) which gave people space when they wanted some privacy or to put kids down from nap. The pool and hot tub was great to cool off and enjoy the view of the ocean. We saw howler monkeys, iguanas, something like small racoons and many birds. There is an extra kitchen and fridge in the upstairs detatched apartment which came in handy for storing groceries for our crew. The gated community with 24/7 armed guards provided a feeling of safety for those less traveled. For the price point, we could not have done better.

Nube Nueve is Heaven

We stayed at Nube Nueve for a week in Feb 09 and it was perfect. We rented it through Beachfront Rentals in Playa Hermosa www.beachfront-cr.com this is the second year we have rented a villa through them and they are very easy to work with. The villa is in like new shape, very clean, spacious with comfortable beds and furniture. We had three couples and it was the perfect size. The pool was great as was the patio and the views and sunsets are beautiful. Playa Hermosa is a growing beach community and the villa is an easy walk to the beach, grocery stores (new one) and restaurants. If you want to go to Playa Coco it is an easy 10 min drive and there you will find more restaurants, night life, stores, etc. Gus is the concierge for Beachfront Rentals and he is great and will help you out with anything you need while you are in CR. You can't go wrong if you rent Nube Nueve or any of the villas through Beachfront Rentals.

Family time at Playa Hermosa

The house overall was on excellent shape, and was very cozy for the entire family. The 1st floor has 1 master bedroom, TV Room, kitchen, diner, living room and next to it is the terraze with the private pool an view to the ocean. The terraze is very comfortable and perfect to see the sunsets. There was a brand new Grill which we enjoyed a lot. The second floor has another master bedroom and a bedroom with bathroom. There is a studio that has a bed too, but in order to access a bathroom on the 2nd floor, one has to go into one of the rooms, so take that into account. Finally, this house has a fully equipped apartment on the 2nd floor plus a deck on the rooftop for better views. The house included daily cleaning services, which were super helpful, and Alejandra was wonderful. I'll certainly keep this house on my favorites list!

Auntie’s Family Trip

Person who let us to the house was so quick and his explained like he could not wait to get out of there. He was not nice. I asked him about drinking water, and he just said - buy it. Others I spoke with at tge office were very kind and helpful. (The refrigerator had a filter on it) Also, the pool in the picture looks huge. It is not - it is tiny but fun! Most everything else was wonderful although we had two cars in the parking was aweful-our vehicles were fortunately small. Excellent view of sunsets! Don’t bother looking out the back yard because the windows are filthy. Keep the blinds closed always.

Villa Nube Nueve is a little piece of heaven!

We spend Christmas 2009 in Villa Nube Nueve. Although our holiday started terrible with an overbooked flight and two days delay at the airport with our little kids (2 and 4), everything was forgotten instantly when we arrived at the Villa. The people of Beachfront helped out my parents-in-law up on arrival very well (they did have seats on the plane). The house is even more beautiful then shown on the pictures, both inside and outside! We loved the oceanfront view, the rooms and the garden furniture. The kids loved the swimmingpool and there were a lot of toys for them to play with. I shouldn't have brought my own, there are also a lot of toys to take to the beach. Everything is taken care of! We also rented a car which was handy: the beach is a little far to walk to with little kids but more so, it gave us the opportunity to visit some nice places in the area (nice restaurants, canopy tour, visiting Palo Verde and Ricon de Vieja). The beachfront staff helped in suggesting nice places or pointed out how to get there. The maid cleaned the house daily (even did our laundry) and we also had the cook one night making us a very nice bbq dinner on Chrismas Eve. I would recommend this to anyone (little kids or teenagers). Costa Rica is a beautiful country to visit and Nube Nueve was a little piece of heaven. Thank you Guss, Tim, Jeff and Cathy!

Great Stay

We spent 10 nights here with our adult children and close friends, 14 people in all. The house, pool, landscaping, and overall area were great. There were various minor maintenance issues, but nothing that detracted from the stay. One of the room A/Cs broke but it was quickly fixed the next morning. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk, or short drive with easy parking. The town is small and quiet and does not feel touristy, but Playas del Coco is only 10 minutes away if you want bigger stores and more restaurant options. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of plates, bowls, etc for a large group and plenty of cooking pans, utensils, storage bowls. We used gas BBQ every night. The best aspect of the house was Alejandra, the housekeeper/chef. She was super friendly and made us some delicious meals, Gallo pinto, pico de Gallo, eggs, French toast, chilera, fried plantains, etc... The property management overall was excellent and responsive to our needs (which were few). The listing was a bit confusing on the number of bedrooms and sleeping arrangements. Although we were able to sleep 14, there are only three bedrooms (including the apartment) that are really comfortable for adult couples. The others have single beds, bunk beds, and/or no attached bathroom. Depending on the mix of adults/children, the sleeping arrangements could get complicated for large groups. Overall it was a fabulous stay and a good value for the house.
