As you drive up to this exquisite custom home, you are greeted by palm trees and lush gardens.It was built as an architectural masterpiece to reflect the Costarican culture open to the outdoors. As you step in through the front doors, your gaze is immediately drawn through the house to the ocean and volcanoes beyond. This home has 5 large bedroom suites, 2 bedrooms on the main floor, 1 queen and 1 king (master), walkout level has 3 bedrooms, one with 2 long twin beds, and two with king beds. Each are steps away from the 45 ft. pool that boasts a hot tub. Imagine, night time, sky full of stars, sitting in the pool after a day of fun, sipping a drink!!! Next to the pool is a hand painted tropical jungle Rancho with wet bar and washroom. The hot tub is set to heat from 4pm to 9pm.The upstairs boasts a gourmet kitchen, large great room with cathedral wood ceilings, cable TV, wireless internet, laundry and large balcony with barbecue. The lower level has a custom kitchenette, living area with cable TV and large balcony that extends to the pool.
Lots of activities await you, great fishing, zip lining, white water rafting or tubing, hiking the dormant volcanoes, walk the hanging bridges at the top of the forest canopy, zoo, surf, scuba, volcano mud baths and hot springs, to name a few. I will provide you with a list of all the area activities and tours. Some you can see by yourself, or our concierge can provide and book a full selection of tours for you.

Please read our house rules and rental agreement. Rates include 8 guests. Each additional guest is $60/day. Max stay is for 13 people. Two children ages 3 and under are charged as one.
Our concierge can also arrange a cook to wow your palette and also help to rent a car, stock the fridge, get a babysitter.
There is a reason why the Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons, Ritz Carleton, Secrets, Andaz, Planet Hollywood and RIU resorts are located here. We are 25 minutes from the Liberia airport, LIR, and close to all the beauty Costa Rica has to offer. Playas de Coco is the main town, 10 minutes away. It has restaurants, shops, grocery store, nightclubs, etc.

The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful and large the house is. Amazing art throughout! Beautiful view. We had a chef come for 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners. The kitchen was fully equipped. We had 7 family members and the 5 bedrooms and separate bathrooms for 4 of the bedrooms plus powder room gave us lots of privacy. The hot tub was great. You are at the top of a mountain with beautiful views but you cannot walk to a beach, so the description of the property is somewhat deceptive. It’s an easy drive to several different beaches though. We loved our stay. Highly recommend this property.

The house was absolutely perfect—far better than the pictures in the listing! We were a group of 9 (5 adults and 4 kids), and it fit our needs beautifully. The kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and loved being so close to the beach. The adults appreciated the convenience of a very short drive to the beach and the chance to truly relax without having to worry about a thing.We did have one minor hiccup when the water was off for a few hours, but we simply headed to the beach and by the time we returned, it was back on. Alex, the house manager, was fantastic—attentive, responsive, and made sure our stay was completely stress-free.Truly a perfect getaway. Pura Vida!

Amazing place, not near beach

We loved the place. It was huge and clean. There were 9 of us and we had so much extra room! Super clean and well equipped.Our only gripe was that the posting made it seem a lot closer to the beach than it was. It’s a 5 minute drive to the beach, not walkable. The pin drop makes it look like it’s a block from the beach.

House was amazing and the view was jaw dropping! Pictures online did not come close to what this looked like in person. Location was great and pretty central for shopping, restaurants, local fishing and several local beaches - all about 10 to 15 minutes away. House is also in a very secure gated community. Only thing we didn’t get to see were the little white faced monkeys, despite several early morning trips to the recommended beach in search of them. Zindis did a nice job of helping us book excursions, provided an itinerary for the week and sent reminders each evening of what we had on the schedule for the next day. Would highly recommend this house if you are looking for a place to relax as well as go out to see the country.

The villa was better than advertised!!! The pictures do not do it justice! We had 3 kids and 5 adults with plenty of room. The view is amazing and likely the best in the area. The location is excellent and gated with an armed guard. I felt safe with my family and I am very protective. We had difficulty with our travel days and the owners allowed us to stay an extra night at no cost. Very gracious!!! We did all the things while there: a 4 wheeler tour, surfing, water falls, hot springs, swinging bridges, sloths, riding horses on the beach, fishing charter, and of course private chef’s which was our favorite and recommended by Zindis, the property management group who host the villa. A pro tip for anyone looking fo white faced monkeys in the area…. They show up near the market behind the RIU in Montapalo every morning between 9 and 10 local time. They are out of our hands and crawled all over you if you let them

We travel frequently, and this is one of the most beautiful homes we've ever rented. It's breathtaking. The gorgeous setting, views, pool and interior decor made it difficult to want to leave the house for tours or beach time. (but we did of course!) The Playa Hermosa and Playa Panama beaches just minutes away were quiet and safe for our three little monkeys (grandchildren) to romp in the surf. Concierge service was excellent and prompt to help. The chef they recommended for a couple of suppers-in was superb. I think my highlights of the house itself were the tropical flora and fauna murals in various places on a wall or ceiling and at the pool house, plus the Boruca mask collection. Accessing the property, a rental car with all wheel drive is highly recommended. The steep entrance driveway to the community is a bear when the pavement is wet!

amazing trip and unbeatable view

We had a group of 8 stay and there was ample space for everyone. The pictures do not do this house and view justice. The location was perfect for us and was quiet at the house but close to restaurants and activities for all. The house manager Alex and the concierge staff were all wonderful and very prompt in response time and communication. I would definitely recommend, and we are actively looking into when we can come back and enjoy again!

Family Spring Break

The home was fantastic! The location was 5-10 minutes from two beach towns with a ton of restaurant options and stunning sunsets. The pool is phenomenal and the entire home is designed to comfortably handle 10 adults/kids and would be an incredible place to entertain. Simply great experience!

Stunning view!

We had a party of 8 staying for 10 days. The property is beautiful. We were visited by howler monkeys several times. We loved the artwork and furnishings throughout the house and always felt secure. We enjoyed a number of the local beaches (Panama was our favorite). We packed in many adventures including Diamante adventure park, a river cruise, waterfall and volcano hikes, snorkeling and boating tour to name a few. And the food was delicious no matter where we ate. In the evenings, we enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The only issue with the property was that the pool had not been cleaned when we first checked in and the hot tub was not working. Both of those were addressed by the following day by Zindis. The hot tub stopped working a second time midweek, but was again handled by Zindis the next day. Overall a great trip and we will surely miss the incredible view!

Great view!

Loved the house. Steep drive to get to the home but well worth it for the view. House was very expansive and all bedrooms very private. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we appreciated the filtered water at the sink and the little countertop ice maker. Could use a few new pool inflatables as most leaked air. Beach towels were provided as well as coolers in the garage. We never used the tv, but noticed the surround sound and big library of movies. Also liked the board games. Pool and hot tub were nice. Note the hot tub was on a timer that only came on in the evening. People staying with young children or older adults will need to pay extra attention on the spiral staircase to the pool and the area that drops off behind the pool chairs at the back of the pool. This was a wonderful well appointed home with awesome views and lots of extras. We were under the impression that it was a short walk to the beach, but that was not the case. We might have misread the description. Also, while you could control the ac units in the bedrooms, the main living area upstairs was set at 82 and we could not adjust it. Our group was okay with it so we did not call about it, but that might be a bit warm for some. All rooms had ceiling fans though including the outdoor patio. We felt very safe at this location and there was a friendly security guard at the gate. Would definitely stay again.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay at The Palms. The house was the perfect size for our party of seven. The view is unbelievable and the property is gorgeous. We took two tours through Matt’s Fishing and Tours and had at meal prepared at the house by Chef at Home CR. Everything exceeded our expectations and we created lasting memories for our family. We did rent two 4WD cars from Adobe Rental and it was really nice being able to explore on our own and travel to the different beaches in the area. The only issue we had was we did not have water on our last day. The management company was easy to get ahold of and came over right away but was unable to get the water back on before we checked out. I would definitely book this property again if we ever make it back to Costa Rica.

Paradise in the hills

Stunning views and a beautiful home. The layout and access was perfect for our family. Plenty of space to gather or pick a quiet place to enjoy the pool or amazing view. The concierge service was a helpful and super quick to respond. The location was super safe with lots to do nearby. Beaches in CR are awesome. Would 100% recommend this cozy home!

An Amazing experience

We had a fabulous time staying on this absolutely beautiful property!! We had a chef come to the house which has the perfect kitchen with 6 of us adults watching them cook for us which was an amazing dinner!! Also, the view of the ocean was spectacular along with the outstanding huge pool over looking the mountains and ocean. The monkeys were swinging in the trees next to us!! The house is very clean with beautiful paintings and sculptures all through out the house!! Lots of space for my adult kids to have their own space!! I would definitely recommend this property!!

Everything was excellent except when I put Zindis Group in my Waze it sent me to the wrong Zindis Office. (Coco) Extremely frustrating. Probably cost me several hours when very anxious to get checked in.

Amazing Getaway

This was our first time to Costa Rica and we loved it! Our family of 10 really enjoyed our stay at The Palms. The views are incredible and we loved sitting out on the balconies enjoying coffee and breakfast, watching the town and the bay come to life. The pool is gorgeous and just what you need for a break from the heat - day and night. The kitchen is stocked with everything you may need, the bedrooms are large and comfortable, and there was plenty of space for all of us. The Zindis team was very friendly, helped us get settled in, helped to arrange excursions and was quick to resolve any minor issues we had. Would love to come back again!

Everything and more!

House is amazing, view is possibly the best in the country. This was my first visit to Costa Rica (after traveling the Caribbean) and this house made me a believer! Zindis was amazing to work with and took care of everything we asked of them. This home is what current and/or retirement dreams are made of! Incredibly happy that we chose this home and had the opportunity to interact with locals and residents! This is the place! We loved it! Book it now! You won’t regret it! A+++

FABULOUS PANORAMIC VIEW that takes you to another world. All day long, at the top of this mountain, you look at the beach, ocean, volcanoes and mountain ridges.
The stars are magnificent. This area is designated for tourism as it is close to all the main attractions , rafting, fishing, scuba, volcanos, zip lines, hot springs, nature, etc. It has a dry climate during Dec. to April and is only 30 minutes from the Liberia international airport.

The villa has all the amenities of a 5 star resort. Lots of space 5,000 sq. ft. plus large outside patios, privacy, beautiful tropical gardens (monkeys and parrots) and large long lap pool with hot tub. The house itself is a work of art. Local wood on the ceilings, all marble floors, painted tropical scenery on walls and ceiling, cultural masks and paintings by local artists, gourmet equipped kitchen, beach toys, coolers and chairs. Our concierge will pamper you with Costarican hospitality. The modern conveniences of TV, cable and internet are provided. The bedrooms are oversized allowing plenty of private space.
