The Villa
Vacation in luxury with this welcoming coastal style ocean view 5-bedroom, 4 bath villa located within Ocotal beach area, Guanacaste.

This villa is at a walking distance from the beach and boasts a fully equipped kitchen, high-end furniture, amazing ocean view, outdoor lounging area, and luxury throughout.

The open living space features wrap-around windows overlooking the Pacific Ocean and mountains.

Three bedrooms are on the first floor and two are on the second floor with their own personal balcony attached.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, Smart TV, ample space, sliding doors leading out to the balcony, ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and a walk in closet.

The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, balcony, Smart TV and an ensuite bathroom as well.

Two other bedrooms are equipped with a queen bed and Smart TV each.

The kid’s bedroom is sure to be a highlight with two custom built twin over full bunk beds and their own Smart TV.

The full kitchen has all the appliances, cookware and counter space you will need.

The dining table has enough seating for up to twelve guests.

This coastal home villa is the perfect union of luxury and location.

This villa was absolute perfection. Very short walk to the beach and activities. We scheduled a snorkeling tour and zip lining, which were super fun. The house management, housekeeping and night security team members were friendly and helpful. They made our stay the perfect family holiday.

Home was great for our party of 12 with 8 adults and 4 children under 10. The kids loved the pool. The living area is very spacious and welcoming, with a great dining table to fit all 12 of us, and we moved one of the chairs in the alcove to the living room so we had sufficient seating for adults in the evening to play games. The housekeeper was wonderful and very accommodating. Nice to have the rooms cleaned every day. This villa is about 10 minutes walk to Father Rooster and the beach, which does not have white sand; the black sand can be offputting for adults but the kids didn't really care. Father Rooster was a great place to have lunch or dinner. I enjoy cooking and so made most of the suppers in the kitchen, which was well equipped for most meals. For groceries, I recommend you take an Uber to Playa Coco, which is only about 7-10 USD, depending on the driver. There are four supermarkets but only one that is more N. American style but a bit more pricey. I recommend shopping there to find things you are accustomed to buying. I would avoid the Chinese #1 store and the fruit/fish market next to it unless you are looking for asian sauces and supplies. We were given the wrong advice by our Uber driver and learned the hard way. Another thing to consider is to rent a golf cart from a local--about 40 USD daily. We got one for the week and made plenty of trips from Ocotal to Coco to get supplies. Overall, a really fantastic place to make great memories.

Book Villa Alicia! We had an incredible stay with our family! The villa and views are amazing. One of the best kept and cleanest properties we’ve rented and in a quiet area. From the first message to Ilse, she was very responsive and so helpful with additional assistance in arranging a special flower delivery for a family celebration, photographer and excursions for our family. Villa staff were very attentive and cared about little details to make us feel at home. We look forward to returning. Pura Vida!

Loved our stay! held our bachelorette celebration here, and it was nothing short of fantastic! I had great communication with the host, and they helped me with planning catering, which was a plus! They also helped arrange transportation to and from the airport. Highly recommend!

House is just as listed. The staff were a pleasure to work with and the house was spectacular. From the layout, to the cleanliness....we loved this place. I have rented several houses over the years & this one was one of my favorites. When I come to Costa Rica again...would stay here again.

Perfect Location for Family Vacation

This villa was perfect for our 9 member family vacation. The house was very clean. We enjoyed the pool. The view was outstanding. You need a rental car. Went to three beaches Ocotal, Coco, and Hermosa. There are many restaurants in the area. We did a combination of cooking and restaurants for our group.

Amazing Stay!

Don't hesitate and just book! It was the most beautiful house in the most beautiful location. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything you could need. To have housekeeping come in every day to change out towels/make beds was so nice. The outside was the best part. The pool and BBQ was used a lot! They also give you everything you can need for the beach like chairs, beach toys, snorkeling gear, etc. The location was great and very close to the beach and Father Rooster (the best restaurant!). We ended up renting a golf cart for the week and if you have little kids I would highly recommend as it is a little bit of a walk and can be a pain in the hot sun. We can't wait to come back!

A beautiful house

Beautiful house, well furnished and maintained. Air conditioning throughout the house, comfortable beds, ample towels available and good laundry area. This area is a bit more pricey than some of the other areas we stayed in and that’s why I put it as 4 star instead of 5. That being said, the beach is beautiful with black sand and definitely worth experiencing.

What a wonderful family vacation stay.

My wife and I took a four adult children and my oldest son‘s wife to Costa Rica. We have previously vacation in different area Costa Rica. I cannot give enough positive praise to the housekeeper, grounds and security people that accompany the property. They were friendly, caring, kind and wonderful people. All agreed our best meal of the vacation was the one that was prepared at home for lunch by a housekeeper. She also topped that off with making a wonderful Keylime pie. Many thanks to them all for making our vacation a wonderful time. The property is as described and is beautiful and clean as a whistle. Would definitely recommend staying. I’m sure we are to return. As everybody else has done with this property, I will give it a 10 out of 10 without hesitation.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful property

We loved this property and were wow'ed with how clean and perfect it was for our visit. We had 4 couples stay and we loved the layout and gathering spaces. The pool and outdoor spaces were excellent. One of the most fully stocked kitchens and just overall best property that we have stay3d at.

Vacation in Paradise

Villa Alicia is one of the most exquisite rentals I have ever stayed at. The property grounds were gorgeous, the house was spotless, and the property manager, Ilse, made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect: walking distance to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend staying here if you want a 5 experience!!!

Great Villa

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa! The property was impeccably maintained, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it a joy to cook meals and enjoy them in the spacious dining area. We felt completely secure with the nighttime security services, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping everything clean and tidy, adding to our overall comfort. Plus, the villa is conveniently located near some great restaurants. We really enjoyed Father Rooster and Soluna. Overall, it was the perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Also, Ilse was very responsive to any questions we had about the villa. Highly recommend.

Stay at this villa!

If you’re looking for a place that accommodates a big group, don’t hesitate to book this house! The pictures don’t even do it justice. We were 7 adults and 2 children in mixed families and everyone had their own space/privacy due to the amazing layout of the house. The view is amazing, the location is great with a very easy walk to the beach. Thank you so much to Ilse who was such a great host! :)

Book this Villa…exceptional!

If I could rate this property more than 5 Stars I would. From the moment you arrive you are swept away with beautiful views of the house itself the countryside, and the ocean surrounding it. The property manager met us there to show us around, meet the housekeeper and the on-site security guard. Every furnishing in the home is top-notch and we had plenty of space for our large group. All of the rooms were fully stocked with any possible amenity we needed. We did the grocery delivery service and not only was everything delivered, it was put away for us when we arrived. Literally did not need to do anything the whole week. Communication with the host was excellent. The walk to the beach was easy and there are many restaurants and stores close by. Cannot wait to return to this villa one day and will be definitely referring it to friends.

Absolutely Stunning!

This house is gorgeous! The views are amazing and the house is immaculate! Ilse is wonderful, she is so sweet and kind! She met us at the house on arrival and told us the best places to eat and arranged all activities for us. She also arranged all of our transportation as well, I didn't have to worry about booking anything! We also had groceries delivered before we arrived, they have thought about everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The house is so gorgeous that we didn't want to leave. We swam all day in the heated pool, enjoying the views and wildlife! We ate at Father Rooster most nights, its within walking distance from the house and its a great little spot on the beach with a nice atmosphere. We travelled with young kids and walking there was no problem. We travelled during July, and while it is the rainy season it didn't affect our trip! We had great weather everyday and just a couple nights after dark we had thunderstorms. I was worried about bugs as we have visited Costa Rica before, but I was surprised that there were barely any bugs at this house. Inside and outside. We flew into Liberia airport which was only about 40 minutes from the house. Ilse set up a large van transfer that fit the entire family. After leaving the house we drove to Arenal Volcano for a couple nights, it was about 3 and a half hours from the house. I highly recommend this property if your planning to visit, we definitely will be back! Thank you!

Beautiful home and property. Enjoyed the pool and easy walk to a gorgeous beach with great snorkling (gear provided by host), black sand, and Father Roosters (food and drinks). Spacous bedrooms with beautiful ocean views. Great family time together grilling by the pool and eating outside.

Villa Alicia - March 31 - April 10

This property rates more than a 5 star. We were a family of 12, 6 adults, 6 children and the house was perfect for this size group. The pictures really do not do it justice, it is such a beautiful home and is fully stocked with everything one needs. The pool was amazing! The location is as it states - easily walkable to the beautiful Playa Ocotal and the great Father Roosters restaurant. We found Ocotal Beach to be the best snorkeling beach in the area. Ilse the property manager was wonderful, always responsive to our many questions and or needs, we thank you so much for making this an unforgettable vacation. A big shout out and thank you to the housecleaning, groundskeeper and security staff as well.

Amazing week at Villa Alicia in Ocotal Beach!

We had three families (6 adults and 5 teens) spend a week at Villa Alicia. The house was even better than advertised. There was plenty of room for all three families and the amenities were excellent. Ilse was very responsive and helpful with any questions. Marie and Lester (house keeping and grounds keeper) were amazing and kept the home spotless. We loved walking down to Father Roosters for dinner. The staff there was amazing and the food was delicious. All in all it was a great week and I would recommend staying at Villa Alicia to anyone. Pura Vida!
