Tucked into the mountainside and surrounded by lush forest, this custom-built log home provides an elegant home base where you can relax in total peace while staying close to all that Western North Carolina has to offer.

Step onto the expansive wrap-around decks and listen to the soothing sounds of the nearby babbling creek. With fresh mountain air, fragrant forest scents, and serene natural beauty all around you, it’s the ideal place to leave everyday stresses behind.

Inside, this spacious three-story cabin is thoughtfully designed for comfort and privacy. Each level features its own sleeping quarters, full bathroom, and a bonus or sitting room — perfect for families, couples traveling together, or anyone who appreciates their own retreat within the home. Two bedrooms include EnSuite bathrooms for added luxury.

Warm, tasteful décor and upscale touches throughout the home create a welcoming, elegant atmosphere. We’ve carefully outfitted the lodge with everything you might need so you can settle in and make yourself completely at home. The driveway comfortably accommodates up to three cars.

Pick up all trash in and outside along with pet waste. Trash must be taken to the drop off location. No campers or trailers.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. We have no complaints about the home. We didnt have the opportunity to use the hot tub so i cant comment on that. Yes, the driveway can be a bit of a challenge but we're in the mountains :)Norma was quick to respond when i messaged her on arrival day. Oh my! This is news to me. I emailed you the morning after your arrival asking if you had found my home as promised. This was your response. "Thank You very much for everything. We love your place and had a great time." If our guests ever have an issue we will do everything in our power to correct it. I find it a bit disingenuous to tell me one thing and then complain about it publicly after the fact. That's not fair to myself or my staff. I pride myself on prompt responses. If you had found an issue at anytime during your stay, we would have addressed any concerns. Your delayed comments make me sad and is unfair to my small business.

My family and I have been visiting western NC for over 20 years.. I finally decided that this would be the best place I knew, for a vacation home for my family, friends and to share with others.
I've been in the real estate business for over 20 years.. I've owned many rental properties and Love to share my home with others.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

I wanted something centrally located to all that western NC had to offer. I also like my privacy. This home fit the bill! I can't tell you how much we enjoy spending time on the porch swing, either catching up with friends or just reading a good book while listening to the babbling creek.
The floor plan of the home also allowed my family and my visitors to enjoy their own privacy within. Each floor has it's own bedroom, full bath and bonus or sitting room.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our home will comfortably sleep up to ten people. Three of the bedrooms (two of which are en-suite) are fitted with king beds while the 4th bedroom has bunk beds (single top, double bottom) and a queen size bed in the same room.
The home also has three and a half baths, family room with fireplace and cathedral ceilings, fully outfitted kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, dining room, loft with bar, television, and washer and dryer. The two sided, wrap around porch offers a swing, rocking chairs, grill and picnic table. There is an additional picnic table out by the firepit. The downstairs porch offers additional seating and a Jacuzzi tub and fire pit.
The home has also been equipped with a key-less entry system. No more searching for real estate offices to find and/or return a key. Of course, Wi-Fi and cable with premium channels are provided.
You can easily park three cars on the driveway. There is also an outdoor security camera.
