Feel your stress melt away as you take in the majestic mountains surrounding our edge of town retreat in the quaint old mining town of Crested Butte!

Our location is ideally situated just steps away from world-class hiking, biking and Nordic trails and only four blocks away from the popular West-Elk retail/restaurant district. The shuttle stop is a short walk away with free service to Mt. Crested Butte.
This house was purchased in the Summer of 2013. In September 2013 we installed new Bosch appliances in the kitchen. We also have 4-5 bicycles for you to enjoy the town and weather and to take in the sights.

The bedrooms sleep 10: The large downstairs master has a king, a private bath and an adjoining sun room with indoor hot tub. Main floor has two bedrooms: #1 has a queen with room for a pack-n-play (which we have for your use if needed). Bedroom #2 is a small bunk room. It has a twin over full bunk w/twin trundle. Upstairs is a large bedroom w/ a queen bed and lots of floor space for sleeping bags, air mattress, etc.

The views from the kitchen and living room windows are magnificent and the location is one of the best in town! This house is at the West end of Butte Avenue which is a relatively quiet and secluded spot, even during peak season. You are literally only yards away from Nordic ski trails, hiking and biking trails. Although the location is nice and quiet, you are still only a few blocks from the 'bustling' downtown of Crested Butte! The locals feel that the NW portion of Crested Butte, specifically including Butte Ave, is probably the most desirable place to be in town, and you will see why after staying here for a few days.

Great ski property close to town!

Great ski house - so close to walking trails and downtown! Fun to walk into town to eat and shop when not heading to the slopes.

Great location on edge of town in quiet neighborhood. Only a short walk to Elk Ave and bus stop. House has plenty of space for our family of 6. We look forward to coming back in the future.

A Perfect Place to Stay in Crested Butte!

We absolutely loved this house in Crested Butte. We're cross country skiers so the location couldn't have been better - right across the street from the trails! The house itself is wonderful! Very roomy with four bedrooms, a nice living room and a dining area with large windows and spectacular views. The hot tub also was great to relax in in the evening after a day of skiing. We highly recommend this house, and plan on coming back again and again!

Great location and property

We had a lovely vacation in Crested Butte. The house is in a great location and provides ample room for a large family. Check in was easy and all instructions were clear. I was disappointed in the quality of the beds, towels and cleanliness of linens. For the price of the stay, I expected more.

Can't wait to book next year! This house is perfect!

Great open kitchen/dining/living space. My family of six plus pups had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the view of the mountains. So much beautiful natural light through the windows you can see the Butte! We stayed 2 weeks and this house was perfect. Next to park for the dogs, quiet street, and not to far to downtown. Hot tub was a wonderful bonus.

Location, location, location

This house is conveniently located within easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants in CB, but also just steps away from biking and hiking paths. Lovely views in this area of upper west CB. The house is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Communication was excellent. Recommended!

The home was fine but would be tight for 8 people (we had 6) with only two bathrooms.

All was fine except the upstairs loft window was partially open when we arrived and could not be fully closed.

Second time

This is was our second time to stay at this house. The house is clean and everything works as designed. It’s close enough to Elk Avenue that you can walk to town and the bus stop to head up to the mountain. We will always be more than okay with staying here again. This is our second time so there’s proof that we thoroughly enjoy staying here.

Not quite what we expected

Location was good. Ran out of hot water upstairs after 3 showers. Layout of the house was difficult for a 4 bedroom with 3 bedrooms effectively sharing 1 bathroom which is also the bathroom for the main floor. The hot tub was over treated with chemicals, unusable for most of our crew. Beds were old and uncomfortable.

Snow Paradise

We had a fantastic stay with 6 powder days out of 9 skiing. The house is nearly perfect for our family of 6. Third time staying here and we plan to again in the future.

Perfect location

We loved being at the trailhead of Peanut Lake! We walked and biked that trail every single day. We made dinner one night and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Appreciated providing hand soap, toilet paper, and a few other essentials, as well as a few kids toys. Beds and pillows were comfy. Manager was quickly responsive to all questions. Thank you so much!

Very comfortable

I was surprised to find the master bedroom was on a lower level but understood once I realized it was not only next to the hot tub but actually larger and more private. It does require climbing stairs to get to the kitchen and family room. Overall, a really comfortable and nice home and was perfect for our extended family. Great proximity walking to both the main street, Elk Avenue and also located at the head of a wonderful hiking and biking trail. Juli, the property manager was extremely responsive and made us feel very very welcome and comfortable. Very thoughtfully supplied kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.

It was great, we were close to the venue and rode bikes to near by restaurant. loved the wild life right out side the door. We had an amazing time, used the hot tub.

CB on Butte Ave.

Nice layout, room for 6 adults and one dog. Next to open space for dog walks and X-skiing trails. Best, no parking needed on street. Awkward, the alexa thing hiding behind microwave started talking and it was not alexa, a couple female voices from who knows where.

Great stay

Communication with the host was great. We had a nice stay and the house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The house had everything we needed with the exception of laundry detergent. Would definitely return! Great location in town.

Prefect spot to enjoy CB!

Our family of 5 loved our stay at this wonderful property. We were walking distance to Elk Street and enjoyed morning walks to Camp4 Coffee and Butte's Bagels. It was a short drive to park and grab the town shuttle up to the mountain. We'd highly recommend and hope to be back!

Lovely property / perfect location!

Great Location for CB getaway!

This property was perfect for our family’s long weekend in CB. It’s an easy walk to all of the restaurants and shops on Elk Ave and a quick 10 minute drive to the ski resort. We all enjoyed using the hot tub after a day is skiing. The walking trails near the house were great for our dog. We would definitely go back!

Cozy and Perfect Downtown CB home

This house is owned by a family of 6 from Edmond, OK. This photo was taken after one of our many walks to The Third Bowl for ice cream on a summer afternoon! If you haven't visited Crested Butte, you really owe it to yourself to come for a visit. If you've already been here, you're already convinced!

CB is known to many as 'The Last Great Ski Town,' 'The End of the Road' and 'Paradise' by locals, and it lives up to all of those descriptions! It is also the "Wildflower Capital of Colorado," and aptly named. We chose this property because of its fantastic location on quiet Butte Avenue as well as very close proximity to hiking and biking trails, cross-country skiing, and downtown Crested Butte.

We are leaving our double bike trailer in the garage so you can either pull your kids to town or load it with your groceries so you don't need to drive to the store. There are also several other child/baby accessories to make things easier and more enjoyable during your stay. Five bicycles included!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We fell in love with this home because of the amazing mountain views! The house is charming and somewhat unique in CB with a bit of a Southwest flair. Mexican tile, blue tile kitchen counter tops, and a Southwest-style living room area rug all give it a unique ambiance. The house has a beautiful vaulted family room ceiling. There are wood beams and wood accents throughout the house, especially in the living area. On chilly Colorado summer mornings I sometimes turn on the in-floor heater and it warms up the floor & room quickly. Take advantage of the five bicycles included with this house for your use! Crested Butte is only about 10 square blocks in size, so you can ride (or walk) from one side of town to the other in just a few minutes!
