Starwood at Quandary is conveniently located in the serene neighborhood of Timber Creek Estates, Blue River. Just 8 minutes (5 miles) from downtown Breckenridge, this quiet, paved neighborhood is perfect for a morning walk to take in the stunning mountain views!

Upon entering the 3,200 sqf luxury duplex home, you will find the spruce framed view of 14,265' Mt. Quandary welcoming you 'home' to Colorado!

The vaulted ceiling great room features wood floors and a gas fireplace creating a cozy setting for relaxing and watching tv, reading a good book or watching the snow fall on a wintery day out on the deck which hosts the hot tub, gas grill and patio furniture during the summer months. Having an open concept the main floor includes a dining area and a bar as well as a granite counter kitchen with stainless steel/electric appliances all conveniently together for family enjoyment.

In addition to the main floor great room is the downstairs game room (man cave) which features a pool table, Ms. Pacman machine, poker/card table, dart board, popcorn machine, cable tv, stereo and a full wet bar.

The designer furnished home features two master bedrooms (tv's in both) - one on the main floor (five piece bath with jetted tub) and one on the ground floor (with a steam/sauna shower with seating up to 4 people).

The upstairs loft (with queen pullout) offers a tv/DVD and is set up for wii. Both upstairs bedrooms feature a queen bed with en suite full baths. One additional half bath is located on the main floor.

The heated garage has parking for one car and a 'changing area' that includes dryers for 10 pair of boots or gloves. There is parking for up to four additional cars on the paved driveway.

CANCELATION POLICY: Travelers who cancel at least 90 days before check-in will get back 100% of the money previously paid. Cancellations less than 90 days are subject to the owners being able to rebook the property.

Perfect Place for Winter Getaway!

My family greatly enjoyed our stay at this luxury duplex in Blue River. The view was spectacular, the location was convenient, & the condo was well furnished & very clean. We look forward to the next ski trip and staying here again!

Blue River Lodge

Beautiful, quiet, comfy mountain lodge in Blue River. The lower-level game room and hot tub got a lot of use on our trip. The bedrooms each having their own bathrooms was also very nice. All second to the view of Quandry Peak and the snowy pine trees out the windows. The hosts were as good as it gets when it comes to rental properties.

Awesome ski getaway!

The house was clean, spacious, and well decorated! The hot tub on the deck was a huge bonus to be able to see the kids from the main family room and kitchen area. Tons of space for our group of 9. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive. We would definitely come back!

Great Escape!

This property is excellent. The owners are quick to respond to communications. This is a home, unlike the companies that rent out properties this home has everything you need to immediately start enjoying your vacation. It is very well stocked with everything your own home has. It was spotless upon arrival. The views out back are wonderful while sitting in the very comfy hot tub. Breck is only a few minutes away and offers all sorts of shopping, restaurants and activities. There are many other activities within an hour of the property.

Great place! Would stay there again!

All was great with our stay! Not too far from Breck. Communication with the owners was easy. We had no issues during our 4 night stay. The place was very clean, everything worked, and the description/pictures were very accurate. Great amenities!! I would recommended this house, and hopefully we’ll be back! Thank you!

Thanksgiving in Breckenridge

This house was perfect for our family Thanksgiving celebration. Plenty of room for our adult children, their spouses and kids to feel comfortable. Loved the open main living room, dining area, and kitchen. The table with the bench seating was perfect for the main meal. The holiday decorations were a nice touch and the hot tub on the deck was great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We highly recommend this house and hope to visit again in the future!

Perfection

This place is so amazing and worth every penny. The home is stocked better than any rental I’ve ever stayed in! Whatever you need, it has. We enjoyed the gorgeous views, the games and pool table, the hot tub, heated floors and steam shower just to name a few! Tons is space to put your snow boots and gloves on the dryers in the garage. Perfect location close to Breckenridge but far enough away to remain peaceful. 10/10 cannot wait to return!!!

Perfect Getaway

Our group was my family of four (kiddos 7&9), my brother, friends and in-laws! The house was perfect! The boot (and glove) dryer in the garage was awesome, the heated floors were so nice! We enjoyed the hot tub a few times as well! The kitchen had all sizes of pots, pans, griddles, crockpots! We did run out of silverware after the first meal, but once we realized that, we just washed them as we used them! The house is beautiful and beds were cozy! Thank you so much for a great week!

Perfection

This property was so much more amazing than what was seen and described on Vrbo. Absolutely incredible. Best stocked rental we’ve ever stayed at. It has everything. Meticulous labeling and instructions made everything easy to find and use. Beautiful interior and exterior. Amenities are high quality also.

Beautiful, well set-up home with a view, perfect location

We loved our stay, this home is the perfect combination of the best of our past rentals. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable, well labeled for ease of use. Excellent amenities. The kitchen is so well stocked, it was fun to cook and set a nice table to eat together. The man cave was an added bonus that the whole family enjoyed. Everything was so clean, it felt safe! Nestled in the woods, with a view of the mountains , we were close to all the trails and activities. Easy 7 minute drive to Breckinridge. Owners were great to communicate with, responsive and helpful. We love this area, and definitely plan to come back to this house.

Beautiful!

We had an awesome stay for Spring Break. The house is big enough for everyone to have their space. The kids loved the game room. The only thing that was a little strange was all the camera's. You kind of feel like you are under surveillance the whole time. Wasn't a big deal for us but might be an issue for others that might feel their privacy is being violated. Would just maybe suggest putting that disclosure in the rental agreement so renter's are aware. Highly recommend this property.

Family Getaway

We have had numerous family summer trips to the Breck area and this was the best one yet. This trip included our two adult children and their fiancés. I read the impressive reviews prior to booking and all of them were true. Beautiful home equipped with everything you need. Our family enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, the pool table in the man cave, the steam shower, gathering in the family room in the evening, and the one evening we cooked together in the kitchen. This was also the first time we stayed on the west side of Breck and found the location was ideal. A little more private with easy and quick access to downtown Breck. Best of all the hosts were fantastic. They were accessible, very accommodating, and go out their way to ensure you have a great experience. Thank you for sharing your home and for a wonderful visit. We plan to stay here again on our next trip to Breck!

Christmas 2023

The property was everything we had hoped for. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensil, pots/pans, & even spices. You can set the temp to each room which was nice. The only complaint we had was there is no curtains or blinds in the master bedroom. While it is above the backside neighbors house, so unlikely they could see in, the moon shined brightly into the room & it’s a little disconcerting that people could see in. But other than that we loved the place. Spent multiple nights downstairs in the game room playing pool, darts, Texas hold ‘em & board games.

Wonderful

The house was just as listed. This was our first year to do a Christmas trip and it was great! Master bed was comfy, sleep sofas were sleeper sofas lol our kids said the other beds could have been a little more comfortable but not horrible. The house was very clean and decorated great! The owners supplied everything you could think of! I highly recommend this house! Oh and the view is breathtaking

Cozy Piece of Heaven

This home was pristine and beautiful, accounting for every little detail to make it feel like home! We spent Thanksgiving week here…our family of 5. The kitchen had everything you could think of to make wonderful breakfasts, throw food in crockpots, everything was accounted for. The view from the hot tub was unbeatable as was the natural light that filtered into the house. Our kids loved the PacMan game and the dart board. My husband loved the pool table. I loved the master bathtub and all the laughter I heard ringing through the house during the week. We can’t wait to visit again!

Nothing short of amazing

Stayed in this property with my family over Thanksgiving break 2021. It was amazing. We’ve stayed in a lot of properties and this felt like home. Everything is well thought out to make you feel welcomed. We cooked in almost every night and had everything we needed. You can tell the owners really love this property. Just outside of Breck. We will be back for sure!

Our Trek to Breck

This is a beautiful home that has everything you need to have a wonderful summer vacation. The house was spotless and well apportioned. The neighborhood secure and the quiet. As close to perfect as you could get.

wonderful property

Awesome property. The owners are wonderful to work with and the home is very well equipped. Plenty of room to spread out for a large family. It is a little warm in the Summer, if you like to sleep cool. There is actually spices and such if you like to cook and the hot tub is amazing! We saw a Moose on day 2 just walking around the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again. The location and views are magnificent especially if you are looking for peace and quiet location close to Breckenridge.

Great 4th of July getaway!

The entire family really enjoyed the cabin. Main level and lower level bedrooms felt a little weird with no window coverings to keep people from looking in and the morning sunlight from waking you up on vacation. We all had a blast with the lower level game room and spent many nights downstairs. And the hottub was a big hit to just sit and relax in it. Weather was great even with the rain it cleared up most days and enjoyed the mountain air! Added plus its 5 miles into breckenridge and tons of things to do there. Overall great trip and we would do it again in a heartbeat!!!....Thank You!!

Our family has been vacationing in Colorado for over 20 years. Our dreams have finally been realized......owning our own home in beautiful Colorado! Here's a little information about us - Brenn & Bobett Dunphy. Brenn operates our family farm in Illinois and Bobett is retired from the USDA after 34+ years. We like our work in Illinois but love our play in Colorado! Whether it's hitting the slopes after harvest is over or enjoying the beautiful mountain passes on our Harley after crops are planted, our favorite place to be is at home in Colorado. We, along with our adult kids Bethany and Brennan, look forward to lots of fun times in the years ahead at Starwood.

After months with our realtor looking at plenty of homes, we took our first tour at the house located at 290 Whispering Pines and it was love at first site!! Living in the country in IL, we knew we wanted a quiet neighborhood outside of town and wanted paved roads because of our Harley. A quick 8 minutes gets you to the gondola so we felt the location was perfect. We thought it was a great asset that each bedroom has its own full bathroom and two of the bedrooms have master baths. After a long day of skiing, a hot tub is a must and ours is on our deck looking out over our fully matured pines in our secluded back yard. The view of a starry night in Colorado is awesome from the hot tub. The game room/bar (a/k/a man cave according to Brenn) on the lower level was just the 'cherry on top'. Whether it's a game of pool, playing the Ms. Pacman machine or a game of cards at the poker table, it makes for a great family night, especially when the popcorn machine is used. Oh yeah, in case you're wondering why we named our home 'Starwood at Quandary', one of Brenn's favorite song writers was John Denver and in one of his songs he sings about his Colorado home called 'Starwood in Aspen'. With the gorgeous view our great room offers of Mt. Quandary, hence the name 'Starwood at Quandary' our 'sweet Rocky Mountain Paradise'.
