Access to the Best Beach on the Oregon Coast

Located on Yaquina John Point, Beachside Suites is central to all major attractions. Just south of the property are Governor Patterson state park, Cape Perpetua, Heceta Head light house, and Sea Lion Caves. Just north are Seal Rock, Oregon Coast Aquarium and Newport light houses. Guests enjoy access to seven miles of smooth, sandy beach. Walks are peaceful, since the beach is semi-private. Many rare birds can be seen on the beach. Whales can be seen just off shore, migrating north or south. Harbor seals swim in the water near the beach. North of the property is the Alsea river, which offers fishing and hiking opportunities. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and numerous shops, just one mile away. There is a golf course one mile southeast. A convenient visitors center is located one mile north, where you will find hundreds of brochures with helpful vacation ideas. Returning guests comment on the small-town atmosphere as a major reason for their return.
Unit has a full kitchen, with oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer combo, and cupboards and drawers that are stocked with items needed during stay.

The unit was cozy and welcoming. The property manager was kind and considerate. He even cared enough to help this internet illiterate old lady through the process of on line registration and he was extremely kind and communicated beautifully!The only thing I would have liked more would be direct beach access. But Governor Patterson Sate park was close and the Hilltop diner was great and both were walkable.

It was really wonderful, it was close to everything we wanted to do, the mattress was amazing, it was nice and quiet despite being close to busy streets. I loved how the blinds were basically blackout so I could take an afternoon nap if I wanted! Wifi was fast. The beach was pretty. It was really relaxing!

Great Little Place

The Alsea cottage was just what we wanted. It is an easy walk from a wonderful beach and off the usual tourist track. The cottage was simple, clean and comfortable. Management was very helpful when we had questions. The entertainment package on the TV was the best!

Rental had everything we needed and was very clean. The couch should be replaced, itā€™s so worn out that it is extremely uncomfortable. A fan or AC unit in the bedroom would be a great addition since the street noise is extremely loud, so we had to keep the window closed to be able to sleep.Waldport is a great place for long walks at the beach, fishing and close to other great places like Newport and many beautiful beach parks.

Nice quiet place to stay thatā€™s very affordable. I had one issue that arose when I arrived. I contacted the owner and his people where there in 10 minutes. Super nice guy. Canā€™t beat the price and area!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, plenty of room to hang up clothes, and large bathroom. We could park right in front of our place. Walking to the beach was easy. They do need to get a new couch, however, and the road noise made it difficult to open windows.

Very nice host. Clean. Furniture couldā€™ve been newer and in better condition. Towell racks in the kitchen wouldā€™ve been appreciated and a dishwasher. had trouble getting the shower sprayer to line up in my direction. Furnaces were excellent to keep the place warm quickly. Was disturbed by footsteps in apartment above early in the morning. kitchen appliances were excellent and the kitchen was very efficient to make meals. Lighting was excellent. Parking was right in front of the door. Nights were quiet for sleeping. Bedding blankets were warm. Nice housekeeper. Good price.

Good times

The rental was nice and clean. The size was what I expected. We had a great time. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home. From the pics i assumed the beach was right there but instead it was a short walk down the road. Not what I expected, but not too far, so it was still good. Overall we had a great time and would go again.

A Shore Great Place to Stay

Oh, buoy! What a beachin' stay we had at this cozy coastal crib! The apartment was as snug as a hermit crab's shell, and we felt right at home in its comfy confines. Located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the shores, making it a breeze to sunbathe like a happy seal.( Which we saw plenty of seals around.) The sunsets? Absolutely shell-tacular! Our host was great, always ready to ride the wave of our requests. To sum it up, this fantastic place was the perfect place for us to stay and will be for you too! We have no clamplaints. Five star(fish) all the way!"šŸ˜Š We will be back if this review does not convince you to book it out first.

Retro beach place and comfortable

This apartment is part of a quadraplex. My experience: the road noise didnt bother me, not a lot of noice, safe, great!! internet connection, good bed, good shower, great tv channel and movie selection. Practically every thing you need for cooking is furnished. Coffee was furnished ( thanks), as were nice towels and paper goods. It is furnished " beach style" with functional furniture and I would rather have this than a " hobby lobby" type decor. Comfy recliner. Beach access close by. Manager answered questions via email. I ended up checking in late but convienent due to lockbox arrangement so I didn' t have to bother anyone. I' ll be back. (Quiet at night.)
