Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the Blue Bird Cottage, an ocean front home with private beach access located between Waldport and Yachats. Stroll the miles of sand on Big Stump Beach or just sit on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Additional amenities include a fully fenced yard for the pets and kids, telescope and binoculars for whale watching and a home WiFi system for the working vacationer. The Blue Bird Cottage has 2 bedrooms plus a loft, 1.5 bathrooms and a fireplace in the living room for those cozy evenings. This is one of the coziest homes and best locations on the Oregon coast!
Living Room: Electric Fireplace, Queen Sofa Sleeper, Flat Screen Roku TV, Blu Ray player and plenty of games.
Dining Room: Table that seats 6, ocean views and a sliding glass door to the deck.
Kitchen: Fully equipped including a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, range, blender, coffee pot and coffee grinder.
Master Bedroom: Queen Murphy bed, ocean views and a sliding glass door to the deck.
Bathroom 1: Large walk-in shower with beautiful slate tile and hairdryer.

Bedroom 2: Full size bed with a 4K Flat Screen 43ā€ Roku TV and views of the ocean.

We loved our stay there. The format of the home was quite enjoyably unique. We loved the view from inside and the back porch. It was supplied with all the essentials needed. Our only concerns were the traffic on the highway at night and the squeaky bathroom floor upstairs. Otherwise we loved this rental!

This adorable cottage is the perfect place to enjoy rest and relaxation. Sunsets, long walks on the quiet beach, and watching the waves are what it's all about. The cottage is exceptionally clean, well kept and comfortable.

Idyllic Beach House Experience

Right on the beach and we almost had the whole beach to ourselves most of the time. The comfortable cozy house had everything we needed and was a short drive to town for the essentials. A perfect place to experience the Oregon coast.

We were there for two nights during stormy weather. The house was snug and comfortable. The view is awesome! Nice flat beach to take advantage of when there were breaks in the storms. Great place!

The cottage is well laid out and very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean, everything works great. You're halfway between Yachats and Waldport so there's plenty of access to restaurants, but we ate most of our meals on the deck because we didn't want to leave! We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 days at Blue Bird and will come again.

Darling Cottage

This little place is just lovely. Easy beach access, down about 15 steps and then you are on the beach!! Between Waldport and Yahats which both have lots of little shops to explore. Definitely plan on returning.

The cottage was well laid out and very cute. The beach theme was evident in every room with cute trinkets and ocean colors. It was close to town but had the feel of an isolated cottage with a wonderful beach area. The atmosphere was relaxing and the sound of the waves mixed with the sea air, worked it's magic.

A cute and cozy cottage!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Blue Bird Cottage. The location, beach access and views were perfect. The cottage itself was quaint and comfortable, providing us with adequate amenities for our stay and we look forward to renting it again in the (near) future. The fenced front yard was great for the little pups and the deck overlooking the beach was lovely. We rate the management company, Ocean Odyssey Beach Rentals with an A as they have excellent communication and were extremely pleasant and helpful when we had questions. My only negative was having to pack up and go home.

New mattresses, get rid of that Murphy bed... would make ALL the difference! We even went and bought bed toppers for our 5 day stay, it barely helped.
