My kiddo and I stayed here fore the month of July. There is lots or storage space, Great closet & kitchen. Extremely comfortable bed.The property host is very responsive and helpful and the area has everything you could possibly need within a 1-8 block walk.

Amazing location!

Had a wonderful stay in Manhatten. The location was perfect to get around to everything needed. Subway entrance right in walking distance. Host was available for all communication and handled all our questions. I recommend staying if you are in the area.

Great Location!

My college-age son stayed here for the summer. Dov was great! He went the extra mile when the studio apartment wasn’t quite ready and offered another, larger unit in the same building for a few days which was really nice. Everything was clean and working. Very good experience and would stay here again! Highly recommend!

Trés bon emplacement pour visiter la ville

Appartement grand pour un studio, très bien placé, calme dans un quartier résidentiel. Situé en RDC, fenêtres fixes (pas d'aération possible) mais très lumineux, bien équipé pour deux, bien chauffé (hiver) un peu vieillot mais confortable (sauf le lit qui est un peu juste en confort). Propreté correcte mais sans plus, un peu de papier toilette, un peu de café pour démarrer ce qui permet de ne pas être obligé d'aller faire des courses de suite. WIFI marche très bien. Pas d'informations sur le quartier ou les transports disponibles. Souple pour les heures d'arrivée et de départ. Facilité d'accès. Pas de contact direct avec le propriétaire mais répond très rapidement par mail.

Excellent Price and outstanding location

If you love art museums the convenience of this location is simply outstanding. 3/4 block from subway and the the 86 bus.

Excellent location for us!

This is at least the 4th time we have stayed in Dov's apartment house but the first time in this particular studio. The listing is accurate. We stayed for a week and were very comfortable. There are a few little adjustments mentioned in other reviews that would be nice but it won't stop us from coming back! Thank you Dov!

Fabulous Location...apartment a little tired but clean. Pullout couch - terrible to sleep on...so really only a double bed...tight for 2, but overall a very good stay for the price.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo! Appartamento pulitissimo è dotato di ogni cosa (microonde, tostapane ecc). Forse un po’ “alto” rispetto al centro di Manhattan ma con la metro all’angolo della strada. Ci siamo trovati molto bene.

Good place to start your exploration

We choose this apartment for our trip in NYC (10 days on May), the apartment is for 2 person, enough space for all your stuff, near MTA station on 88th Street (we don't use buses but stops are near) . Our 1A apartment is on first floor (a little bit lower from the street level ) with two windows, tv, queen bed, sofa, table for 4, small open guardorbe, furnished kitchen (oven,microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, fridge) and a bathroom with bathtub. Is not a new apartment so there are some things not "fresh" (like bathroom) and some lights are broken;cleaning was sufficient, ther are towels, soap and igienic paper for your first days (also bed sheets) . Wifi is good, neighborhood is quiet and good too! Near the building there are a lot of restaurants and markets/groceries. The communication with Mr. Bonner was quick and short.

Great location. All things needed by me, were available.

I have stayed here before. I chose to return. Will do so again. Location and availability to subways and grocery stores make this place perfect for my needs. I would suggest a couple of additions. A paring knife is greatly needed. The only knife in the kitchen is a huge butcher knife--a danger to oneself and others. Also, please provide a roll of paper towels and a second roll of toilet tissue.

The location was great & it’s in a safe neighbourhood, real close to Central Park. The owner was very responsive when I told him to fix a few things to make the studio more comfortable. Overall experience was good.

Excellent describes location, not the apartment.

The first thing prospective guests should know is that apartment is below street level, and the windows are next to the trash bins. The other is that the subway station that's supposed to be at the corner is closed for construction. Fortunately, bus service is excellent, as are the restaurants within walking distance. The unit is clean, except for a metal vent in the bathroom that has gathered years of dust and needs to be painted and the grout in the shower tiles. Also in the bathroom are missing wall tiles that could easily have been replaced when the modern sink cabinet was installed. I believe that renovating this unit is a work in progress. The owner has chosen to move the flat screen into a rustic armoire, so you can only watch from the bed or one seat of the couch, and several of the overhead lightbulbs in the combo bed-living-dining area are out, making it gloomy-looking. Another review mentioned the leaky coffeepot; it's still leaking -- the surface it's on is not level. The turntable in the microwave doesn't turn. The one thing I think the owner should address immediately is to replace the mattress cover and the bed pillows; they are in terrible condition. I am pointing this stuff out because it's all easily remedied, and I think people should know what to expect. I probably spent more time than most guests in the unit because everything I planned to do in New York took place before dark. And those helpful tips VRBO said you'd receive on their app never appeared.

Awesome Location!!!!

Great location 1/2 block from Central Park. Close to Subway station. Close to great restaurants and convenience stores. Enjoyed the neighbourhood. Only reason didn't give 5* was because of the little things in the apartment. Light bulbs burnt out, leaky coffee pot(which was mentioned by a previous renter), TV issues, and no plugs in the bathtub or sink. These are minor things but would have made our stay that much more enjoyable. Dov was available when we contacted him regarding issues such as the TV. Would definitely recommend and would return here on our next visit to NYC.

A great location but——-

This apartment is for the traveler who plans to spend a miminum of time there. TV worked less than half the time. Communication with owner was not the best. A cockroach in the bathroom but clean otherwise. Linens and bed were fine. The neighborhood is family centered,, area restaurants are good as well as bus and subway access. So it depends on what is necessary for a stay in NYC. We have traveled extensively and are not demanding travelers. However——

Spend rent money updating the place!

The location was good but the apartment needed to have many things repaired or replaced. The coffee pot, the bathroom faucet, and the shower head leaked. The rent charged should be used to update and fix the place.The toilet seat was ready to fall off; the cable box didn't work consistently; we found a large roach in the kitchen. Include some instructions for the equipment and for garbage disposal.

A great disappointment.

This apartment needs a complete renovation and updating. Dead roaches on the floor, heat cannot be controlled, appliances don’t work properly (e.g. coffee maker puts hot water all over the counter),WiFi info was lacking. There was no folder with any details. I certainly will not return again. The only advantage is the proximity to the subway and the neighborhood.

Very close to main transport subway lines Not the most full kitchen but it was ok Had to ask to lower the heater can’t say if the owner did so..., he answered but was not very extrovertive ... either way I’d come again had a great time.

Apartamento muy cómodo, que cuenta con todas las comodidades requeridas para visitar NYC en pleno invierno. Se encuentra muy bien ubicado a media cuadra de Central park y de una salida (88) de la estación 86st de los metros B y C. Buena limpieza y utensilios de cocina completos. Dov siempre estuvo al tanto de mis consultas a lo largo de la estadía. Cuando regrese a NYC no dudaría en volverme a alojar ahí.

I staied in this apartment from 10/03/2017 to 10/1/2017. The apartment in very good condition,during the week we didn't have any problem. Location is very quitly and calm with a lots of resturants and shops near. If I will came back in New York probably I will choiche this apartment for another time

Excellent location. Great place to stay.

This property worked out perfect for me. I do not sit in the room all day so all I need is a bathroom and a place to sleep. Great lower cost place to stay. Not for someone who wants to stay in a relax. Close to subway, central park and museums. The room is not perfect but that does not bother me.
