Melissa's cottage is such a lovely place, we're so glad we found this little gem for future visits. Everything was very clean and welcoming, and it's in a perfect location that's close to all the shops and restaurants, yet you're tucked back into this quiet and peaceful setting. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch after a long day of shopping and had the pleasure of Melissa's company for a bit. She's a fantastic host that truly cares about her guests, highly recommend this place!

We celebrated our anniversary in this wonderfully decorated, idyllic and secluded A-frame. We were truly impressed. Everything was there that we might have needed.We loved the peaceful quiet evenings overlooking the unspoiled surroundings.Our hosts were thorough and we were delighted to meet them.A great place and we highly recommend it to all.

The cottage was so cute!! It was very inviting & the owners are great!! This is just what we needed after our land cruise, we needed to just relax for the evening & night before our 1 1/2 hour ride home!! Melissa is a great host & the cottage was so clean!! Thanks for the snacks & making us feel special for our 11th Anniversary!! We definitely will recommend this cottage to our friends & plan to come back again for 2 nights!! Thanks again!! We really enjoyed sitting outside that night & listening to nature & watching the hummingbirds in the morning!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views were beautiful and the host was magnificent. It was easy to reach out when we had questions. They also use a guest book and we enjoyed reading about previous guests stays and learning what gems others had found in the area.

Booked this lovely cottage for a short stay with my mother for a birthday celebration in Holmes county. What a beautiful setting. We sat on the porch, drinking coffee, reading books, talking and listening to the hummingbirds buzz to the feeder. The bed was comfortable, the cottage was immaculately clean and well stocked with cooking necessities, and the bathroom was spacious and up to date. Thanks Melissa for a lovely overnight stay. We hope to visit again!

The perfect hideaway when visiting Amish country! Located in a peaceful area but close to everything. The cottage had everything we needed and Melissa provided snacks and coffee. The bed was soo comfortable! Great communication. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mirabel’s Piano Cottage. It is tucked away in the beautiful, peaceful woods. Absolutely spotless with so much detail and thought put into it. If you’re looking for somewhere exceptional to stay and great communication with your hosts we highly recommend this place. Thank you for such a lovely cottage. Kim & Steve

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Had everything you need. Comfy bed, blankets, and pillows. Would love to come back! Shower was amazing with two heads.

First off, the directions to the house were extremely helpful as the address in GPS takes you to their neighbors house so we were appreciative of that so much! Secondly, the cottage was a stunning oasis in the middle of the rolling hills of Amish Country. Melissa and Tim were excellent hosts and check in was simple and easy. We appreciated the baby grand piano and that added such a nostalgic touch for myself personally as I studied piano for 16 years. The house was pristine, organized, and cute as a button. The style was gorgeous and that KING BED WAS EPIC! But the icing on the cake was petting the friendly cats that just wandered up to you, the massive deck with two rocking chairs to enjoy evening beverages and coffee in the morning, and of course the VIEW of the hills that are just a tiny walk down the driveway. We are so thankful to Melissa and Tim for getting us in, in less than 24 hours.

My only complaint is that we didn’t book to stay longer! This home was immaculate, plenty of towels, comfy bed and bedding (plus extra blankets!), a wonderful assortment of coffee to enjoy while rocking on the wraparound porch. This home is nestled in the woods, but also minutes from wineries and the town of New Philadelphia, where we enjoyed live music at The Delaware and had a delicious take out meal of pizza, wings, and “Jo-jos” from Yours Pizza. We are already anticipating returning next year with at least another night stay! Additionally, the hosts were amazing-left a sweet note on the fridge, a letter on the table, and a folder of things to do. Thank you, Melissa and Tim!

This cottage is my new "home away from home"!! Everything was better than what you see in the pictures. The peacefulness and privacy of the area made me feel so relaxed. Morning coffee in the rocking chair on the porch while listening to the birds chirp set the mood for each day. Location to Amish / local establishments was easy to navigate once you know the area. Melissa was quick to respond to any needs, yet very respectful of my wish for independence. I have - and will continue to highly recommend this cottage for a destination near Sugar Creek or New Philadephia, Ohio

We loved everything about this beautiful cottage! It was somehow spacious and cozy, all at the same time. Impeccably clean, well equipped and so very comfortable. The bed was THE most comfortable we've ever slept in..seriously, it was. The hosts, Tim and Melissa, were wonderful about ensuring that we had whatever we needed, even reaching out beforehand to see if there was anything special that we thought we would need. The location was quiet and peaceful and easy to get to. We enjoyed the baby grand piano in the living room (perfectly tuned) and the rocking chairs and hummingbird feeders on the porch (we saw our first hummers of the year!) The towels and linens were clean and perfectly fluffy. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked. And I was so pleased to find a vanity, with stool, a magnifying mirror and good lighting in the bathroom. We ladies appreciate thoughtful touches like that. We can't imagine anyone not enjoying their stay here and we hope to return soon.

Not only was the cottage adorable and unique, it was also incredibly clean and comfortable. Melissa was in touch before our stay to see if we had any special requests. When we arrived, she had left us home baked cookies and a thoughtful welcome note. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and there was even a welcome basket with assorted snacks and a keurig with pods for coffee, hot cider, and hot chocolate as well as an assortment of teas. I had told Melissa I was just looking to relax and hoped to read and paint. She suggested the little desk off the bedroom for painting and had left some brushes and a jar for water and even a little vase of fresh flowers on the desk. I also have to comment on how comfortable the bed was. I have a cancer that causes lesions in my bones, so it is often difficult to get comfortable and fall asleep when we travel if the mattress isn't comfortable or there aren't enough pillows to prop where needed, but I had no problem sleeping at all with all of the plump pillows and soft linens. The cottage was also close to breitenbach winery and we had dinner at 63 Corks, which was a wonderful farm to table culinary experience. After checking out, we headed to main street Berlin as well as Guggisberg Cheese, Hershberger Farms, and Heini's Cheese Chalet to shop and stock up on Amish baked goods and cheese. The cottage was conveniently located so we could easily get to all of our favorite places. We will definitely be back!

Our trip was relaxing and peaceful. Everything was clean and looked just like the listing. The host was very open, friendly, and available if we needed them. The porch was a highlight with the kitty and hummingbirds. Would recommend to anyone! :)
